This particular location has cramped parking right in front of the building, but somehow I've always been able to get a spot. I've used a number of brands over the years, and I've settled on using PPG exclusively for my interior house painting. I just like it! It goes on easy, it dries well and looks great. And these PPG Paints stores, some of which used to be Masterwork-Sternberger stores, have always been very helpful and knowledgeable.

He was very courteous and helpful. I spent a couple of minutes browsing this store's selection of color samples. The store offered free color chips in all colors plus reasonably priced peel-and-stick samples in the most popular colors. The store appeared to be fully stocked with other products such as primers, paint brushes, roller frames and covers, sand papers, painters' tapes, trays, stains, etcetera. I selected numerous color samples and took them home with me. I will use them to decide on a particular paint color for interior rooms of my house.

He explained how the colors would look and made suggestions, but wasn't too intrusive. I guess there's a few colors that if you get in a sample form, don't show up exactly how they would if you got the full gallon. I guess because it's a smaller quantity in terms of how the dyes mix in? I also will note I did use their colorsnap technology and it wasn't very helpful. This is an app that takes a pic of your paint colors (on walls or wherever is painted) and matches it with the closest Sherwin-Williams paint color. You do need an attachment to take the pics that is extra money, but my painter let me borrow his. This should be helpful if you don't remember the color of SW paint you used or you used a different company. It saved the colors to my app, but didn't give any names or numbers to the colors I was trying to match. The guy helping me didn't really know how to look them up either via the app, so we just did our best guess. Not sure if the guy working should have known how to look up the colors, or the system is flawed. We matched as best we could and I bought a bunch of samples. When I got home I realized that three were missing. UGH! He forgot to give me them. So I had to run back up and grab them. Thankfully, I only live a few minutes away, so not too huge a deal, but a pain none-the-less. I will also note the samples are huge and not cheap. I wish there was a smaller sample option, but again, not sure if the color wouldn't match as well to what it truly would be.

I have most frequently bought their interior SuperPaint and Emerald paints, and I have occasionally bought their exterior paints and supplies. For my most recent purchase, I ordered two gallons of paint through the Sherwin-Williams website. The regular prices for the paint were expensive, but Sherwin-Williams was having a sale for 30%-off. Later that day, a store employee emailed me that my paint was ready for pickup. When I went to the store to pick up my paint, an employee immediately greeted me. She looked for my order in the computer, and she found my cans of paint on back shelves. She handed me my receipt and thanked me. I think that Sherwin-Williams paint is easy to apply to my drywall and wooden trim and that it provides good coverage. Many top interior designers highly recommend Sherwin-Williams paint colors, and I have enjoyed several of the paint colors in my house. I greatly appreciate that this store is open until 6 PM from Monday through Friday, and they are open also on Saturdays and Sundays.

Majority of the year the store is selling outdoor furniture, in addition to a corner of the store that has great jewelry and wallets, candles, serving platters, a few cute baby things and the list goes on. It is an excellent place to find a birthday or hostess gift. BUT- my absolute favorite time to go to Outside Inspirations is during the holiday season!! They close the store for a few days and completely overhaul it into a Christmas wonderland! There are so many great decorations and ornaments every year. It is always on my shopping list!!
