The store clerks are very cordial and the postal staff are terrific. Apparently, they'll be relocating to the space vacated by Food Basics. I'm looking forward to the expansion. However, I hope they won't loose their charm which they currently have.

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more After work last Thursday, I wanted to pick up some hand cream for my mom. She had cracked skin on one of her hands for at least a week. The hand cream that she was using wasn't healing a thing. I found one brand that seemed promising while doing some research online. The site said that it was available at this particular Shoppers Drug Mart. The store was conveniently on my way home from work. Then again, I cut across most of the GTA, so I pass by a ton of stores! This store is in a plaza. There seemed to be a Food Basics or some green-painted grocery store that has closed down. Shoppers Drug Mart is in the corner further down. The parking area can be a bit chaotic. It's an older plaza and the lanes are more narrow than what I'm used to in suburbia. This store has been here for a while. It has everything that you'd expect it to have, including a grocery aisle. I walked every aisle and could not find the hand cream that I was looking for, which was disappointing. However, there was a Gold Bond one that was on sale. It has been approved by the Canadian Diabetes Society. It has proven results. It was also on sale. I bought it! I dropped the cream off at my parents' place. My mom said that she would try the hand cream out immediately. This morning, I spoke to my mom. She said that three hours later, she noticed a huge difference. She no longer has cracked hands. Nice! She asked me whether she could pay me back. Hearing her say that this product works is all that I wanted. The lone cashier at this store was friendly and made sure that each customer was okay. She helped out a senior ahead of me. I liked the care that she showed and the help that she gave. I'd come back here again when I'm in the area. (157)

This rating is for the Beauty department…read more My GP recommended a specific brand OTC cream. He gave me the brand name, Cera Ve. He warned me that the price range would be around $30/lb. Well that's serious money in my book (unfortunately.) I came into the store between 9-10a.m. on a Thursday. It wasn't too busy, to my relief. On the other hand, I wanted to be sure to get the right stuff, and wanted to check with the Pharmacy that it wasn't physically behind the counter before hunting the aisles. I took my place in line, and began to wait .. and wait. I have no problem letting her serve the current customer first, go ahead take the time necessary to do your job. After the customer walks away, however, she continues to really take her time. I stand, and wait...keep waiting...there are people adding up behind me. Finally I get so annoyed I need to start making conversation with the customer behind me. As we begin filling our own time void, the staff immediately decides to continue with someone else not in line. THEN I get to hear that it is indeed not kept behind the counter, but on the shelf. Once I hit the aisle, I do get a staff who is available and takes the time to answer my questions about the various formulations offered on the shelf. She had good knowledge of the different ingredients and their applications. I was finally able to purchase what I needed. I should have made more effort to remember her name as I would go look for her next I came back. Good service with an appropriate knowledge level.

Went in the next morning to clarify the price and for sale sign was still there for item. Spoke with the rude manager and let him know of the issue and asked me why I did not check bill at the time of purchase. I asked why your location is putting up sales signs ahead of the sale. He rudely pointed me to their cashier sign that requested patience. Sorry, this is not good customer service in my opinion.

Last Saturday, I needed to find a place that sells corn flakes. I go through phases and I'm in a…read morecorn flakes one when it comes to cereal. I was in the Finch-Highway 27 area. I did a quick search and found this Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) at The Albion Centre. I have bought corn flakes from a SDM locally and thought I'd try this one. I drove over here. I like when a drugstore is connected to a mall and has a separate entrance. I like not having to enter the mall and buy more stuff than I need. There was plenty of parking at around 3:30 pm. I parked and walked in. This SDM is on the older side. It was fine. It wasn't falling apart. It just looked older than most. What was sad was that this SDM does not have a cereal section. The tragedy! I was sad. I did manage to get some vitamins. All was not lost. There was a lineup to get checked out by a human. I decided to try the self-checkout. It was smooth and felt anti-social! I'd come back here for vitamins. For my cereal fix, I have learned that I won't get it here and will end up feeling disappointed. (371)

Customer Unable to listen properly and then she said I didn't wear the mask and I'm speaking proper English I don't know why you didn't understand. I found it so miss behaved. Even customer smiled and ready to pay extra. I don't know why she's so pissed off at it for the day she's not supposed to be rude to the customer.
