Good and bad pairings:…read more 1) great location in Rittenhouse but that means occasionally a car alarm sounds during the service for fifteen minutes distracting you no matter how hard you try to concentrate 2) huge church with an equally large congregation which reflects that the church is pretty spiritually healthy-- but sadly you could get lost if you don't try to make friends 3) Senior Pastor just left to be dean at I think Wheaton College, so they're searching for a new pastor-- but the staff has been rocking the sermons while they do some hardco' searching ** interestingly, the church has a very active music group-- lots of different choirs, an orchestra, etc-- so that's really good. But they all play on the balcony in the back of the church so you can't see them. Which I guess is good because it allows you to focus on the words versus the people And a quick tip: I really like the night pastor who regularly preaches at 6:30p (Paul Tripp)-- He consistently gives good sermons and they're applicable to everyday life.

Our new Pastors, Pastor kirk and Shianne Pearson's our absolutely two of the most spirit lead caring/loving individuals I have ever met. They truly live & have the love of Christ in their hearts. They took over as the new Pastors in 2022 when our old existing Pastors Steven and Barbra Harvell retired. I love this Church!!! God made no mistake when he sent us our new leaders. There has been an amazing number of men, women, young adults, teens, family's giving their life to God each week. There is a spiritual powerful connection being apart of this church. I can not even being to explain the blessings, opportunities for my business and miracles that have happened with myself, family and members connected to the body of christ here at LOCC. This is my home and these our my Pastors. I pray every body gets to experience the love of christ, because the moment you walk through those doors, you feel it!

There are two services on Sunday, one at 9:00 A.M. And one at 11:00 A.M. The earlier service is more informal and the latter is more formal with choir and pipe organ. There is Sunday School every Sunday at the 11 o'clock, a young adult group, and a variety of ministries. The Shared Blessing Luncheon on Fridays at noon welcomes church members, homeless and everyone in the community to sit and share a meal.
