They hire anyone that speaks Spanish and give them the minimum training required by the state and that which the busy director can provide. The director is unprofessional to put it kindly. It's a very much "blame the child" and "blame the parents for the child's behavior" type of environment. Being our first child and first daycare experience we started to feel like there was something wrong with the way we were disciplining our child at home. I'll always feel guilty that we stuck with this place for so long despite all the red flags. When my child left Casa Castigo she couldn't even be hugged without screaming. It took us hiring a nanny that was very patient and affectionate and eventually she turned back to being the happy and affectionate child she was before. We have since been to other daycares where our child has thrived and not have any problems. Communication is another one of those red flags. Much later after the fact I came to find out that my child had a meltdown so bad that they took her out of the classroom and kept her in the hallway for a long time while she cried. This would have been the type of thing that I would expect to have been told about. If you choose this place for your child please pay attention to the red flags.

The least that the University could offer for the already small dorms is a good working heating and cooling system. I came to Arkansas this past fall 2025 and never had lived on my own before. I just thought that the bad temperatures were the "norm" for college dorms. After speaking with other students, I realized that this is not the case. While already in a stressful environment, the hot temperatures only make it worse. When I first moved in around August, it was about 80 to 90 degrees outside. This wasn't that new to me because I am from Texas. What I wasn't expecting though, was for it to be about the same temperature inside the building as well. I had even bought a cute comforter that I haven't been able to use because it has been too hot. Even with my thin blanket, I will still wake up sweating because it seems to get hotter at night. I have tried multiple times to change the temperature using the A.C. unit in our shared space but it does little to nothing. It also will switch back to the original temperature not long after. When reaching out to people to fix things in the dorm, they are quick to answer and get it done, but it just does not last.

It is a children's theater aimed a creating…read moreproductions geared towards children (and adults since I have loved every performance I have been too) and classes/camps/plays for children to learn about acting, singing, performing, etc. I recently signed up one of my kids to do a 6 week long class here and she is loving it. The staff are all great teachers and great with the kids. They have different classes/camps for different age groups. The six week courses each have a different theme. I also think the price is super reasonable and affordable. I have seen a few of the Trike theater plays performed at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville and they have all been great. They have a specific stage at the arts enter that is smaller (think a large movie theatre size) and it is really enjoyable. It is enjoyable because it is more intimate and the kids feel more involved and like they can participate and interact with the play in that setting. Great theater and performing arts school/group!
