Sure, it's an absolute shambles and you generally won't find as many 'gems' as you might I other, more modern charity shops. But it more of a jumble sale than a shop, and that's why it's so great! And in my case, the lady behind the register was not very nice at all. She gave me dubious looks and hurried me as if she thought I was going to steal something. Not very comfortable experience. I didn't really mind the small space as much as the unfriendly customer service. Even if they did have what I want, it put me off coming back. From what I did manage to see, before I was made to feel completely unwelcome, things are more expensive than you can get elsewhere and not that much stock because of the limited space. There is a large selection of sketchbooks, drawing paper, paintbrushes and Daler-Rowney paints - all essential for art students and established artists alike. The store itself is lined with cards and displays that have been created using products from the shop, such as decopache kits, rubber stamps, ink and stencils. The only thing that limits the possibilities of the products in this shop is your own imagination. Price are reasonable and there is also a framing department at the back of the shop where you can take in your masterpieces to hang with pride.
