It's Reggio Emilia-inspired, mostly outdoors, and so intentional in how it nurtures curiosity, confidence, and kindness. The teachers were warm, steady, and genuinely invested in each child as an individual. We watched our son grow in independence, communication, and emotional maturity, and he developed a real love of learning through play, nature, and meaningful projects. Spring Hollow also felt like a true community for our family; supportive, welcoming, and aligned with the values we wanted reinforced at home. We are incredibly grateful for our years there and recommend it without hesitation.

The school operates under the Reggio-Emilia philosophy (meaning the children can self-direct their own learning) . After saying goodbye at the goodbye window, the day starts with the children together talking about what is going on in the day. The children have times where they can choose to be outside or inside and a teacher is in each spot helping them out. In either spot they can play, paint, work with materials or dress up. It is quite exciting to the see the daily email from the teachers with pictures of what the kids during the day. The thing that surprised me the most is the amount of cooperation and group play that emerges when you leave the kids on their own. In every email, there are pictures of a group of kids exploring or playing house and the kids have assigned themselves different rules. We went to the open house at Spring Hollow and were able to sit in on a day with our son. If you are unsure, plan to stop in and you won't be disappointed. We explored a number of preschools for our son, but I think we decided on the right place when we sent him to Spring Hollow.

The staff and teachers truly make this place great! From the very first tour/walk through we felt welcomed and assured that not only were our kids going to be well cared for, but well educated and on track in their learnings (based on their ages). It is so helpful that they provide well balanced meals and snacks throughout the day- saving this working mom a lot of time. Each day we are greeted with such kind people at the front, and our kids love their teachers. We also love the community of families and how the school hosts different events and celebrations throughout the year. We highly recommend primrose and wish we could give more than 5 stars!

The administrator Haley is extremely rude and treated us like we were an annoyance when we asked her any sort of question. They even struggle to say hello when you walk into the school in the morning. My wife asked our son's teacher how his day was and her response was "I don't really know". We have had way better care before by people who love kids and love working with kids. Keep your kids away from this day care, there are far better options available.

This school has been in Franklin for over 20 years, has certified Montessori educators in every classroom, and full of loving, nurturing, and professional educators who go above and beyond for each child. Both of my children have benefited greatly from MSF, and I would highly recommend it to any family looking for a top notch education for their little ones.

I am confident that this is because of the combination of caring and attentive teachers and a quality Montessori approach to education. As a result of what they've learned at Montessori, both of our children are very self-sufficient (pouring their own milk and juices, putting on their own coats, helping to cut and peel fruits and vegetables, and so much more). Since she began attending the toddler program, our youngest (who had separation difficulties at other schools) has become much more independent and self-confident. She is even excited to go to school and talks about her friends and teachers when at home! In her three years at Montessori, we have seen our oldest daughter grow in ways I cannot even describe--she is growing into a strong, compassionate young girl, with a solid foundation in academics and most importantly a love and passion for learning. This evening, as we were reading bedtime stories, she told me that her friend asked her how she was getting so smart and that she answered, "Because I like to read a lot!" (she has been reading independently since she was 4 years old thanks to her fantastic teacher and Montessori methods!)
