I switched our daughter to Sage Speech after driving her 40min to another speech therapy practice…read morefor 30min sessions for several weeks which really messed up both her and mine schedule. Wasn't sure what to expect, but Julie Apel exceeded all of my expectations by a mile. Beyond the convenience of not having to drive anywhere, our therapist (who has an amazing contact with our 3-year old) brings educational materials and toys with her and varies them in a progressive fashion so that my daughter is always excited in advance to see her and work/play together. She also created a personal binder for our girl with materials we can work on together in between sessions to practice what she learned. We have seen real progress in our daughter's speech within the first 2 weeks, which is hugely reassuring, motivating and exciting. They are on the higher price end but for me it was absolutely worth it for the quality of work and not having to deal with traffic myself. Really very happy to have switched and given Sage a try and can only highly recommend our therapist.

My son that had a severe Speech Delay. He was referred to Divine Speech by his pediatrician…read more I am very picky about who I allow my family to see. I decided to try Divine Speech. I initially meet with Chelsea and she did my sons evaluation, she was pleasant, professional, and informative. Once the evaluation was completed she informed me that she would have my son see Ms. Dina because she believe that she would be a good fit for my son. Upon meeting with Ms. Dina I had some reservation because she expect no nonsense from my son, and I am a mother that wants to shield her son from the world. I will say it is coming up to one year since my son has been going to Divine and he has flourished, he is a different person, he is using sentences, he is engaged, he knows how to share, and play with others. The speech has done a one hundred and eighty degree turn. I will say Ms. Dina was the right person for him, she is amazing. I would recommend anyone to go and see Ms. Dina. She is stern, but kind. She continues to learn to perfect her craft by continuing her education. I am impressed by her. My interaction with Chelsea has also been good. She shares information with me on my sons condition and will offer suggestions. I will say everyone's experience will always be different. Trust your gut and do what is right for YOUR family. Thank you for reading a brief synopsis of my experience and I wish you all the best!

She also gave me homework to work with my baby and show me how to practice with him, I've never had this experience and we've been doing speech with other agencies for 9 years. And never ever gotten homework! . I personally thank you Divine Speech you guys are awesome and nothing but good vibes when I met you guys

Been loving our experience so far here at Building Bridges Cumming! The entire staff has been…read morenothing short of lovely and inviting, and the new patient onboarding process was a breeze. Have to give a special shoutout to Alyssa because she always shows up with the best energy and enthusiasm for the day, and is also extremely encouraging for both my child and my husband and I. I love that she takes the time out of every visit to break things down for us in simple, easy to understand terms and shows us exactly what we should be working on at home as well. Even with all of the different patients and toys (which means exposure to a lot of germs), I always feel like the space and toys are kept super clean and I love that they make time between each patient's visit to wipe down and clean all surfaces and toys that were touched. I am excited to continue here!

** review for feeding and speech therapy**…read more When my three week old baby girl was referred to feeding therapy after two weeks of me knowing something was wrong and fearing bottle aversion Building Bridges wasted no time in getting us in the same week. Debbie at the front desk was so sweet on the phone when getting me set up and is always so friendly whenever we need help. We were paired with Jorri and she's incredible. When I say she saved me that's an understatement. I have postpartum anxiety and my baby struggling to eat was really triggering and Jorri was SO understanding and so helpful, literally answering my texts at all hours when I needed help outside of a session. Jorri brought in their in house craniosacral therapist who helped her confirm her suspected diagnosis of a posterior tongue tie. She and Stacy worked together and gave me the tools we needed to help my sweet girl eat comfortably. Jorri has continued to support me through all her stages and when she starts struggling to drink. Due to COVID I had a strong inclination that my sone would need speech therapy at two. When my son was referred for speech therapy, Building Bridges was my instant choice. Jorri is now working weekly with my son and he has come leaps and bounds. We have been with her a few months and I get comments from strangers on how great my son speaks! I could not be more proud or more grateful. I am hoping my daughter will pick up skills from my son as she learns to speak, but if she also needs speech therapy we will be headed right back to Building Bridges. If you are referred for therapy I highly recommend Building Bridges! I see how each of their therapist greet their patients and interact in the hall and they are all so sweet with the kids, while Jorri is my favorite I would trust any one of them with my babies.

I sadly do NOT recommend sensational kids. We have been going there for years started with speech…read moreand added OT. There was an extreme amount of turn over in the first year, it calmed thankfully because my child thrives on stability. At one point my son was pair with someone new to him, this person left him in the bathroom, on the adult potty by himself with the door wide open where anyone could see. She then came outside to tell me he was in the bathroom, I'm like and you are not with him? The lobby is extremely tight and small even at the new location parents are encouraged to wait outside. Anyways I go to him he is crying, scared, pee and poop all over just a hot mess he was 3. I got my child cleaned up and we left. Now I did report this happening and told them to never pair them again. The office moves locations across town making the commute longer from one therapy to another for my family. I tried my best to get him there on time and never miss unless needed. There are times they marked us absent when we were there, times the teachers were changed without my permission or knowledge, times the teachers would go on vacation and we were not notified there would be no one there for him, times I called out ahead of time they still marked us as coming. Make sure to record and document EVERYTHING. My whole family was sick for about 3-4 weeks, I called them multiple times reminding them we were ill, there was one day about 1.5 weeks in I forgot to call to double check it was canceled, in this time they did not get a voice mail I left as well. Just a hot mess. Anyways we go in Monday to start our normal two visits a week, nothing was said. Tuesday I got an email saying my son's spots are no longer available and I must call every week. I called and tried to speak to someone calmly but frankly she had a tone and I was already mad, I said this is bullshit and she wanted to act high and mighty, I told her to remove him from their location and hung up. I also sent an email with no reply here a week later. Frankly his teachers are great and I know he misses them but those front desk people constantly changing and the way they have spoken to me over the last few months leading up to this has been ridiculous. If you like being disrespected this is the place for you. Still highly upset and probably forever will be.

It looks like you have to record yourself while booking appointments, or they might kick you out…read moreunless you pay a fee for supposedly missing an appointment you never agreed to. When she started this therapy, I noticed a ton of negative reviews (I remember being confused about that), so it seems like they've been removing those to make the place look better than it really is. I know I'm not the only one who's had a rough time here, and I definitely won't be the last. The main problem lies with the office itself; the therapists are great, which is why I tried to stick it out, but in the end, it just wasn't worth it.
