Great scooter rental place that recently opened up in this popular area. It's a local shop that's run byv a young group of guys that are extremely friendly and hospitable! Their service is fast and quick! We walked in and were on our way on a scooter in 15 mins tops!
The thing i liked about this place is that they have one advertised rate and that is exactly what you will get when you walk in. While you are renting, they don't try to upsell you on unnecessary extras. While you may find advertises renals at most other commercial places to be a few Euros less, they will charge you extra for insurance (which is mandatory) and helmets and add on extras so that by the time time you walk out, you've paid more than what was advertises. That is NOT the case here.
The people that run the place are extremely accommodating and will even provide helpful suggestions of where to go in Porto based on what kind of activities you're in to.
We rented a 50cc scooter which was small and not fast but plenty to get us around Porto. I initially wanted a 125 or 175cc for speed but i later found that Porto's streets are narrow and the surrounding areas are so close that you don't need a higher cc scooter. Keep in mind that most of Porto is a lot of hills so it's easier to balance a smaller scooter. If you lose control of a bigger one then you're not going to be able to recover in time on a steep incline. We rode around all day in Porto and even to Matosinhas and back and only had to refill 2 Euros worth of gas before returning it the next day! The only downside of the 50cc is that they're not allowed on the motorways or the new bridges. However, we were able to cross the river from the old bridge which is just a 2 minute ride from this place.
I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking to rent scooters from an easy going a d tourist friendly outfit. You will not be disappointed the least bit!
