I have a beautiful Shaker bat's head spindle for a great wheel spinning wheel. Unfortunately the metal spindle was bent when I purchased the piece making it unusable. Med Chandler of Ship's Coy Forge in Lyman, New Hampshire, with great skill and care, straightened the spindle returning the bat's head to it original glory and utility.
