He charged $$$ for something that should have been about half the cost. He sent 3 guys to do job and he just stood around watching. Whenever I made a comment when fixture was being installed, he would grumble something like It's the manufacturer's fault fixture wasn't right. No, they weren't installing it properly. Several days after job was done, fixture fell out of the ceiling. They hadn't secured it to the wood in the ceiling!! If he hadn't been so busy complaining, he might have noticed that fixture was not secured. I had to have someone else fix his mess. He also made a decision to install almond electrical switch plates. He assumed, without asking, that was what was being used. I was using white electrical switch plates. He grumbled about that, too. He could have asked and saved himself the trouble and time of putting up the wrong color. If you want a job done right, don't call this company.

This electrician was hired by our home builder (McKay Vassaur Custom Builders) to do work on our…read morenewly constructed home in 2022 and was recently found guilty, fined, admitted his guilt, waived his right to a hearing, and paid the penalty to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) (we have the case number) for not completing the work to the current electrical code. The TDLR's determination was that in April of 2023, a Department Inspector completed an inspection of the electrical work at the jobsite...The breaker box failed to have twelve AFCI breakers as required by the 2020 National Electric Code (NEC) Section 210.12(A). Respondent, and/or Respondent's Representative acting on behalf of Respondent, evaded their responsibility to Complainant by failing to ensure all breakers that needed AFCI breakers were replaced, in violation of the Department's laws and/or rules. Instead of completing the work to the 2020 code, our builder called the county and instructed this electrician to use the 2017 code. This was not the current national electrical code at the time. When we found this out, the builder had to send this electrician back out to our home under our warranty to bring our home up to the current code. Molly W

They put recessed cans everywhere, and Silvestre was a great partner in guiding how many cans we should put in various areas/rooms. Everything was wired up very cleanly, and a focus on not leaving any marks on the dry wall was maintained. The entire team was pleasant, professional, and cleaned up after themselves (including putting plastic down on any carpet and areas where dry wall needed to be cut). They also wired up the entire home with ethernet, and put us in touch with another provided to get cables terminated. Pricing was very reasonable throughout the project. I would highly recommend.
