The employee at the door, I believe her name was Brandy (or something similar), looked at me and said, "We're closed," with a very rude attitude like if she was super annoyed like if i did that on purpose . She didn't offer a polite explanation, just dismissed me in a way that felt unprofessional. I now know the store closes earlier than I expected, but a little customer service and kindness go a long way. It wasn't about the store being closing in 1 minute it was about the nasty way I was spoken to.

I have had her in my home multiple times to teach classes for me and my friends, and have been to classes and events she has held in Castle Rock as well. She is brilliantly creative and has excellent ideas. She sells awesome handmade cards, notebooks, and gifts as well. She is practical and careful cost-wise which I always appreciate. She is funny, positive and encouraging and someone you just want to be around. Her location in Castle Rock is super nice and there is plenty of space for one on one learning and consultation or for bigger classes too. There are cards for many occasions, raku tokens, Christmas ornaments and glassware. Painted cups, knitted colorado teddy bears, coasters made from cowhide and keychains. There are beautiful photos taken by a local photographer and other treasures jammed into every corner. He was waiting on me so I sped through the store checking everything out and picked up some items for gifts. A handmade Broncos angel ornament for a coworker leaving for another position, a raku tree of life token for myself, a birthday card for my dad crafted by a local woman. The man behind the counter was friendly and he knew how much things were when I asked. There was an adorable Pup in the store who sniffed my hand. I think I'll have to go back when I have more money for the knitted colorado bear. He was so soft and cuddly.
