    the breakfast margarita (amazing)

Excellent experience - we came for brunch on a Sunday and made an 11:00 reservation. We were seated right away, but be aware there is not table service. You order your food and drinks up at the bar/counter area and then they bring the drinks and food to your table when it's ready. This did not matter to us, it was just as wonderful of an experience. The only thing I think would've been nice was to have a carafe of water & glasses on the tables. Other than that, didn't matter! The vibe was cozy, the music was a little bit odd for a Sunday brunch I think like soft jazz or something would've matched the vibe better but it was still enjoyable! The food was absolutely incredible & so were the drinks!! It was hard to not order the whole menu quite honestly. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat. The staff were all incredibly kind! Parking was easy (though it was busy), there is a large lot. Definitely need to make reservations in advance for Sunday brunch!

Bloody Mary (regular version). They offer a "loaded" version which has a lot more toppings for 7 bucks more.

Went to the shirt factory for Sunday brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Was able to make a last minute reservation online the night before. The place previously did orders at the counter but now they offer dine in table side service with a menu and a waitress. The ambience is super cute. It's in an older building right downtown with original hardwood floors and a cozy vibe. The parking lot next to the building is a nice size and I was able to find a spot quickly. The table we sat at was a little wobbly so we had to be careful when leaning on it not to spill our drinks. The service was good although a little slow. I think they were understaffed because they only had one waitress for the entire place. She forgot to bring us waters which we had to ask for twice and the reasoning she told us was that no one was in the back cleaning. They could use some help with a busser or a second waiter/waitress. We ordered 3 regular bloody Mary's and a mimosa. It took a solid 30 minutes for our drinks to come out. This was disappointing. We got up at one point to look at the bar and 3 of the 4 drinks were sitting there waiting to be delivered but no one was running them from the bar to us. The drinks were delicious when we did receive them. Bloody Mary has a horseradish vodka. They also offer a loaded version for 7 bucks more with toppings a mile high. The waitress took our order while we were waiting for our drinks so the food came pretty quickly after we did receive the drinks. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla. The food was good, the quesadilla was plated nicely but you don't get any sides with it. We asked for more water at this point which the waitress kindly brought us a jug full of water for the table. We wished she had just brought this when we first sat down. My only other concern was the metal straws in the Bloody Mary. I'm not sure what their cleaning process is but I would recommend asking for a paper or plastic straw if they have them because I'm not sure how sanitary those metal straws are unless someone is hand washing them in the back with a pipe cleaner made for those straws. Knowing from my own home they get pretty gross on the inside if not properly cleaned and can rust in the dishwasher. Overall nice place and if the service could improve I would give this 5 stars.

So glad we discovered the Shirt Factory!!! A true gem located in downtown Medina... food was delicious and my apple crisp margarita was dynamite! Both the drink and food menus make the awesome flavors of the season shine! Will go back for sure!

All I can say is YUMMMMMM! I was so obsessed with my breakfast. We had a wedding in Medina so I needed some WiFi, breakfast and tea. I got all those. The only struggle was finding a plug for my laptop. But a nice man literally gave up his seat for us to be able to use the outlet! But seriously I legit make these quesadillas at home now because I'm so obsessed with them. The black beans and sweet potatoe got me!

I stayed at the Hart House and saw this place walking back to my room after dinner last night- it was pretty busy and looked fun so we decided to try it for brunch- We were the first ones in and greeted when we came in. I found a table in the back- which you can't see from the front door so I was surprised the space was as big as it was. We grabbed menus and sat down to take a look. You order at the counter so we went back up- I wanted a Bloody Mary but saw a breakfast margarita on the menu. I asked the bartender which one was better because I couldn't decide- I guess what i was actually asking was which one he liked more or which one people like more- but he quickly pointed out that they are very different... like I was an idiot that didn't know the difference between vodka and tequila. I don't like being made to feel stupid by the person I'm handing my money over to- especially that early in the morning. With zero help from him- and a bruised ego, I got the breakfast margarita. We got grapefruit toast- which was so good we went back for a second order. The egg sandwich on a croissant was good and the breakfast tacos were good. The breakfast margarita was delicious- The drinks came long after our food and coffee arrived- which was weird. We were nearly done with our food when the drinks came out- which is partly why we ordered more food. Place is cool- food was good- guy making drinks kind of sucked.

Statesman: Bourbon, Cocchi vermouth di Torino, Orchard Cherry, Vanilla, Bitters - This tasted incredible and went down smooth!

In just the last couple years, the village of Medina has grown into quite a special destination. I believe that one of the reasons for their rise is because of the crew behind the counter/kitchen at Shirt Factory. They've unified all of the small businesses to come together in times of good and bad. With COVID-19 hitting NY State hard, many small businesses have had to close their doors, indefinitely, and hope the pandemic subsides enough to open in the next month (May) or so. Shirt Factory, being a cafe and cocktail bar, has come up with a solid alternative to keep them open, on a reduced schedule, while serving this community with great cocktails and food. In accordance with NY State orders, Shirt Factory has closed their dine-in area and bar until the pandemic subsides. So now, they offer curb-side pickup and delivery on Friday and Saturday. Typically on Thursday evenings, they post up a menu that includes fresh baked goods, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, dinner entrees, and cocktails (which you MUST order food to get a cocktail, fyi). You place your order online and can dictate whether you want pickup or delivery and can add any special notes pertaining to your order. We placed our order on Friday, 04/03/2020, morning for delivery and specified in the "note" section that we'd like our food on Saturday, between 5:15pm-6:30pm. On Saturday, our food arrived around 5:30pm, which was perfect timing - we were hungry! A nice touch was seeing the food delivered with a sign on the back of a truck saying "#MedinaStrong". The driver came right to our door and gave us our food, practicing social distancing and wearing gloves too! Pulling out each of our items, the first thing we noticed was the presentation of everything - from the way the food was laid out to the containers themselves, it looked excellent. Anything that was supposed to be served hot had heating instructions written on top of its container and all of the sauces had numbers on top that corresponded to each of the dishes, which was very convenient! We ordered the following: Bob Hope Home-made Hand Pie (two, home-made dough with turkey, provolone, bacon, and roasted red pepper); Roasted Sweet Potato Bowl (Roasted sweet potatoes, stewed black beans, and wild rice cooked in a spinach, chipotle pepper, onion, garlic and cilantro broth to make it green; served with avocado lime crema sauce; two servings worth); two of the Specialty vegetarian Southwest Quesadillas (black beans, red bell pepper, cilantro, egg, cheddar, Monterey Jack, avocado lime crema and salsa on side); Roasted Beets (comes with a citrus vinaigrette and a side of feta) [side dish]; a half-dozen Speckled Malted Coconut Cupcakes (Fluffy Coconut Layer Cake, Vanilla Malt Robin's Egg Blue Buttercream, Malt Candy on top); a liter (yes, a whole liter!) of Bourbon and Flowers cocktail (Bourbon, rose infused sweet vermouth, strawberry, lemon); one quart of Potato Salad (potatoes, red onion, celery, cheddar cheese, bacon, and creamy dressing). The only item I can't comment on is the Potato Salad as that was dropped off for my grandmother for dinner, but everything else was phenomenal! The vegetarian Southwest quesadillas were excellent in both taste and portion and that avocado lime crema sauce was soo good. The Roasted Sweet Potato Bowl was hearty and had a nice, little kick of heat to it. I think my favorite entrée though had to be the Bob Hope Home-made Hand Pie - the soft, pie pastry surrounding all of that turkey and bacon with the melted provolone and sweeter flavor of the roasted red pepper... a perfect combination! Now, I've never been a big beets guy, but wow, the Roasted Beets have converted me! That vinaigrette with the feta cheese worked so well together and I think I tasted a little thyme in it too? What a phenomenal side dish though, I would definitely order that again. Of course, the Bourbon and Flowers cocktail was awesome. Between the three of us, we nearly took out the whole liter in an hour (it tasted soo good and come on, we're living in some strange times and needed something to calm us down a little :) ). That went down so smooth and the color to it was beautiful. Last and certainly not least, the Speckled Malted Coconut Cupcakes - just wow! They were soo moist and the buttercream on was definitely home-made with love and passion and I really appreciated the malted Robin's Eggs on top (malted milk candy is one of my favorites). The presentation too of the cupcakes was just gorgeous. I shouldn't have to say it, but all three of us walked away incredibly satisfied and well fed! I just can't say enough about Shirt Factory and how much good they're doing for Medina. It makes me so proud and happy to see what they're doing in these strange times. All I can say is I can't wait for the pandemic to subside, grab a cocktail at the bar, and raise a glass to all of you! #MedinaStrong

I like to start my mornings off with a lot of positivity, that way I know I have a great jump start to my day. Others have different ways to jump start their day, and that may include having a cup of coffee. Well I'm here to tell you, head over to the Shirt Factory and enjoy both. As early as 8am in the morning, the staff is ready to greet you with a genuine smile and conversation. Their coffee is really good, and I throughly enjoyed the caramel macchiato. I also ordered the egg, cheese and bacon croissant. That was ok I would've enjoyed it more, if they used two eggs and not one. The Apple cinnamon French toast was the star of my breakfast. The French toast was fluffy and was so delicious. I really enjoyed the fact that they were not overly sweet. I decided right there on the spot, that I will be ordering this every time I come back to here. Also starting at 4pm until close is there cocktail hour, unfortunately I didn't make it back to there. But in passing, the crowd was nice and the drinks look amazing.

I've been to shirt factory several times. To grab a quick coffee, have a girls night with cocktails on the patio, brunch with my husband, and every single time it has been amazing. Their menu is creative and fun, but not so fancy that it feels unwelcome. They're always changing up their specials so the menu never gets old. Their staff is always engaging and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. We're lucky enough to live right around the corner, but would gladly drive out of our way to come here if we didn't.

I live in about 25 mins away, but every time I visit I comment on how it is well worth the drive! Here are a few reasons.. Interior: The building is historic (hence their name- it's an old shirt factory) which means several things-- tall ceilings, full wall windows, beautiful craftsmanship in the woodwork, doors and entryways. The mix of natural light coming through the windows and great interior design style gives customers a bright & airy welcome. Seasonally, Alix (co-owner) switches up the decor to match the season. Let me tell you, Christmas time is absolutely stunning and should not be missed Exterior: new to the Factory is a boozy patio! The attached photos were taken while enjoying the sunshine on their quiet patio right outside the building. Drinks: Scott (co-owner) is a craft cocktail genius. I'll admit I'm not well-versed in bartending and what it really takes to put together a tasty and aesthetically pleasing drink. So, luckily I'm not behind the bar. If you're like me, trust Scott's genius and try something new! I haven't had a bad drink yet! Food: I usually come to the Shirt Factory for a coffee drink or cocktail but this visit I had their Bob Hope sandwich. WOW! Would definitely recommend!

We come here allllllll the time. Primarily for drinks and their small plate meals. Always delicious. Really creative drinks and local craft beers. Don't ask for a gin and tonic! Live a little and get one of Scott's masterpiece cocktails!

Such a great café. My son and I came in for some hot chocolate after I visited 810 Meadworks next door. He also had a chocolate muffin, and I had a cup of one of today's soups: potato and white cheddar. Everything was great. They use milk and chocolate syrup for their hot chocolate so it's very rich, and the potato soup tasted great. Their menu also includes salads and sandwiches, as well as a variety of coffees, lattes and related beverages for those of you who are into that sort of thing. Service was excellent.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I absolutely love the Shirt Factory Café! Medina is really fortunate to have such a great little café in its downtown. It's quaint and homey and almost hipster. It's the kind of place you want to sit and sip coffee while reading a great book, doing homework, working on your manuscript, or gazing into the eyes of the sweet thing sitting across from you. Or in my case on my most recent visit, while you share a great conversation with your daughter. My daughter and I had just gotten matching tattoos down the road at Canalside Tattoo Company & we wanted to grab a bite to eat somewhere kind of special. Shirt Factory Café is definitely the kind of place you feel you had a special lunch. We each ordered a sandwich & coffee, but it felt very special. Customer service is great. The people are really nice. There's ample seating & I love how the tables aren't uniform. My turkey sandwich was awesome, and I had a drink called a Dirty Snowman Latté (which I probably ordered more for the name than for the drink itself), and my daughter had a Cuban & a latté. We both loved our sandwiches. I had a side of soup with mine - chicken and rice. It was more of a porridge consistency than a soup. I had a hard time eating it because of the texture. I feel like that's the kind of thing a person might now expect when ordering soup, and maybe they should have given me a heads-up as to how thick it was going to be. The taste was ok, but I'm a texture person and I just couldn't eat it for that reason. I did get filled up on my sandwich though, so no worries. Any time I'm in Medina I try to stop in, and I might start making special trips to Medina just for a reason to stop in. It's a MUST if you live in, near, or go through Medina.

Took a drive to Medina on a nice Saturday afternoon. Stopped at the Shirt Factory for lunch. The building is old, but very nice inside. They had indoor and outdoor seating. We had great sandwiches.

The bar is very unusual. The name Mile 303 comes from the fact that Medina is 303 miles from New York Harbor via the historic Erie Barge Canal. That explained the unusual bar. The Bar is actually a Stylized Map of The Canal. Our Server delivered an impressive menu of drink options. They had everything Beer, Wine, Cocktails and Hard Cider. The Food Menu was not extensive but that is not a bad thing. My Wife picked out the Tacos. She informed me that they were quite different and quite tasty. I ordered The Bolonaise. The opportunity finally presented itself and, overall, it was a really nice experience! Three of us had made reservations for 6pm on a Thursday and when we arrived, there were zero issues. Parking for Harvest is primarily street parking but there are smaller parking lots nearby. The interior comes across fancy, modern, with nice views of Main St. and as you walk in to the dining room, the open-kitchen to our left and a warmly lit, nicely stocked bar to our right. We were seated at a table towards the middle of the dining room. At 6pm, most tables were empty but when we were leaving there were a good amount of people at both the bar and seated in the dining room, so it seems like people tend to come for a later meal. Our waitress came over and poured us waters and provided drink and food menus. This was a first for me - the menus lit up! Our waitress though was incredibly courteous and personable, she did a fantastic job checking on us. To kick the evening off, I ordered their Honey Hibiscus cocktail, which is mezcal, Grand Marnier, hibiscus, ginger, honey, cinnamon, lime, and fee foam. This was a nicely balanced cocktail with a more floral, fruity flavor. With the open kitchen concept, it was neat to see the chef and cooks working on our meals as we relaxed, talked, and munched on some warmed focaccia-like bread with a freshly made balsamic, olive oil, herb dip. The bread was so soft with the perfect amount of chew on the crust/exterior, and served warm. For dinner, I ordered Pappardelle Mornay and added (perfectly grilled) chicken breast for a few more dollars, which is simply pappardelle pasta in a creamy cheese mornay. Our waitress crushed some black pepper atop my dish before I started in. This was excellent - The pasta itself tasted so fresh, the cheese mornay was indeed very creamy, and the grilled chicken breast was cooked, seasoned, cut, and portioned perfectly. I am really glad I added the chicken breast to this dish as I'm not sure the pasta itself would've filled me up. I'd definitely order this again! To wrap up our meal, since it was Thursday, there's a "1/2 off Nightcaps" special, so each of us enjoyed a cold foam espresso martini afterward, which is coffee-infused vodka, Nue vodka, FAIR Café liqueur, dark crème de cacao, Steamworks espresso, chocolate bitters, vanilla syrup, and topped with an infused cold foam, which we went with the Frangelico Hazelnut cold foam, and a few espresso beans. This was ridiculously rich and delish! Harvest is an intimate, elevated dining experience, designed to have you stay a while, relax, and enjoy a more personal meal. All of us really enjoyed our evening here and have nothing but high praise for the staff and quality food. This isn't a fast, casual, cheap sit-down meal, but it's an experience worth the higher price. I look forward to coming back!

The waitress was friendly & efficient. Between the three of us, we ordered a french onion soup, chicken tenders, the highlander burger and Guiness stew. The cheese on top of the french onion soup was cooked perfectly and the homemade croutons were a little bit crisp instead of soggy, which I very much liked. The broth needed a little something more in mine & my friends opinion... not sure what though. The chicken tenders were breaded with crushed up pretzels which is not something I have seen before and was the ultimate reason for my decision to order. The tenders were kind of small; the breading was nice and light and crispy, not too greasy; the chicken was cooked perfectly. I think there should have been a little seasoning added to the pretzel... it seemed like they used unsalted pretzels. The price of the tenders on the menu was incorrect & I made mention to the waitress, so I'd think they will update it soon. The highlander burger (which was my second choice) was a steak burger topped with an onion ring, pulled pork, bacon & cheddar. My friend said it was really good. The Guiness stew (which was actually my third choice haha) was enjoyed by my other friend. The burger & the tenders came with fresh cut fries & they were perfectly done & delicious! The bathroom was nice & clean. There were many more items I saw on the menu that I would like to try such as the Celtic Nachos, Fried Pickles & Chip Butty. Check out my pictures for the menu. I will definitely be visiting Fitzgibbon's again!

We love this place. But last time we were there it was one person serving. The bartender…read more.. We ordered the breaded mozzarella and I got a French onion soup. My soup was torched on top to the point the cheese was hard. To make matters worse, it tasted burned. Might be a minute before we come back but please take this as an opportunity to be careful.

Fitzgibbons Public House - Guinness stew... was very obviously the last of it and there was barely any beef in it.

There were only a few other guests during our stay and things began to pickup as we were leaving. In the past, later at night, we've walked by and the place is quite packed. If you like quiet intimacy and a deal on drinks and food happy hour is your golden time here. I almost hate to share this secret tbh. Don't go. Leave this for me haha. The drinks here are all delicious and lovingly made. Really superb cocktails that taste good. The food is pretty good. It is clearly prepared well and presented artfully. I do think that calling a burger, "A quest for heaven" and not having it be super memorable and mind blowingly flavorful is a miss. It's a good burger and I'd eat it again but it's not a craveable item and I hoped with such a small menu it would be amazing. The charcuterie is super generously portioned and the nduja add on is a huge portion of nduja. Get the charcuterie. The crab toast was good and I'd get it again. We want to try baked brie next time. We also tried the pistachio mousse dessert and it was very pretty but lacked a lot of pistachio flavor. A chocolate cup full of unflavored but rich whipped cream and a minuscule amount of pistachio flavored something that was holding the cup to the plate. We were mostly just confused by the name of the dish versus the experience. It was good just not pistachio mousse. We actually wondered if someone accidentally prepared it wrong. We were here for an anniversary and were given free champagne before our meal and offered more at the end which we declined because of all the other lovely drinks we'd had. The service was great, the staff were polite and informed about the menu and drinks and the bartenders made wonderful things. Will be trying Saint Neri again soon.
