From the moment I walked in I found JAWS swag including a big head of a great white waiting to eat me.. The Edgartown location is by far the larger of the two locations on the island and has more stuff. I grabbed a Jaws shirt, MV hat and hot pink swim shorts for my next trip in Maui... The electric Palm tree shorts were unavailable in my size , wahhhh.... I appreciated the kids running the check out area. Very helpful and addressed all questions. Now the girl running the dressing rooms was a little too busy chatting with the helpers. However I accomplished my goals and had an amazing time shopping. Appreciated the amazing clothes made by this store. Almost makes me wanna buy a sailboat and rename myself BIFF. Vineyard Vines sets the example of how a store should conduct business. The store was not in complete disarray like so many stores are these days and superlative staffing. YOU ROCK VINEYARD VINES!

The clothes are pricy but the sales bring them more or less back to earth. The hubby also got a few pairs of shorts too. The sales person in the store was great, she was very helpful with feedback and getting more sizes from the storage room - even for the sale items. We live in town and it's to the extent that I'm hesitant to go in or walk by to see if she's there before I go in, and if she is I'm on pins and needles. It seems like customers are generally a nuisance to her, she hates her job, and you're burdening her by bringing in business or picking up a sweater or asking a question.

Went in today and the woman working the register was super kind. She even recommended I hold onto my receipt since they do exchanges (no returns) within about 10 days. Fair enough -- that's pretty standard for the smaller island shops. Unless you're at the bigger brands like Lululemon, Faherty, or Vineyard Vines, expect exchange-only. Great service either way. Highly recommend if you're in Edgartown.

Daughter ended up buying two crossbody bags and sis a great built in vest jacket. The sales person said no tax on clothing under $145.00. But we were taxed on the bags. Hard to believe there's a Lululemon retail store in this tiny town.
