I ordered the loaded fries with a patty and it was delicious. The burger patty was seasoned and juicy. The fries were crispy similar to In n Out fries. With the sauce they used for the fries, I feel like I got a burger and then some. For the price, that will probably be my go to order since it is more filling than one burger. Food wise they only have two options-- a regular smash burger with cheese, special sauce, shredded lettuce, and bacon jam and another spicier option with jalapeños. They have some additional toppings for extra charge but grilled onions are free. We ordered the regular double patty smash burger and wow was it good!! The sauce reminded us of a big mac but better. Was an hour wait for a burger, and the tap house was out of the beers we wanted to try. Had to bail on it. Went to a pop up location (Blue Oak Brewing in San Carlos) at-- get this--6:30pm and they were "sold out." Okay. Absolute best smashed burgers in the Peninsula area. After we moved out of the city, we have often lamented the difficulty of finding a smashburger type place that rivaled our old favorite (Wesburger's in the Mission) but boy do these guys totally deliver. We located them at a nearby brewery since they don't have a brick and mortar store (yet??!) but they are absolutely worth tracking down. You can find their schedule on IG! We also recently were lucky enough to snag them for a private event, and when our original venue location fell through, the team was kind enough to suggest venues and was super flexible about working with us to create an incredible menu for our 50+ guests. Everyone raved about the burgers and the fries that they served (our favorite ones are their spicy jalapeno burgers that have a little bit of a kick to it, but their standard cheeseburgers are still so excellent). Truly, there has been no other place in the nearby vicinity that can compare to the lacy, crispy edges that their patties can take on. Was a vendor at an event and was kindly given one of these by the truck -- they were very juicy and crispy, perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of done-ness, sweetness to the grilled onions, and crunchy spice from the jalapeno. It reminds me of a more fresh, bigger, and crispy In-N-Out. The guests seemed to be really enjoying them, too. This place is incredible, first off the burgers are my favorite by a long shot. The staff is friendly and feels like a family so it's an incredibly welcoming atmosphere socially. Then there's the physical environment which is very festive. With its industrial style warehouse setting, big open bay door and no nonsense menu, it's hard to beat this place. I've been a regular customer since I saw they opened as it's on the way home from work. There's plenty of micro beers on tap to choose from and don't forget to order fries as the round out the whole experience.
