I had a few questions before making a 50% deposit but Able was very patient with me over the phone. We planned to arrive late on the first night but Able gave very detailed and clear instructions on how to retrieve our keys so we could get into the house via email. When we got into the house, he came to greet us and showed us the house and our room. He even heated up our room prior to our arrival (nice touch!) as it was a chilly night. Pluses: - A wide range of free T2 teabags - Free Nespresso coffee - Free fresh fruit baskets - Nice / clean / spacious bedroom - A bottom of white wine upon arrival Minuses: - The floor in the bathroom gets really wet after each shower (I believe the leakage comes from the gap of the shower door) - With two separate knobs (hot / cold water) in the shower, it was really difficult to get to the right temperature -The wifi signal is weak in our bedroom but I had no problem logging on. It was not just an accommodation for a night, but an encounter with heartwarming hospitality. Bronwyn and David won our hearts with their authenticity, generosity, and friendliness. What a lovely treat to have discovered this charming B&B in such a quaint town…read more I reviewed the websites of many bed and breakfast establishments prior to leaving the USA. and was drawn immediately to Yallambee. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner Bronwyn and served great coffee and delicious brownie sweets. We stayed in the King room which had lovely furnishings, modern, just what we prefer. Plush towels and cozy robes, very clean and neat. After our dinner we came back and had a glass of port which is always available as well as a carafe of Sherry. The bed and linens made for a very comfy sleep. We woke up to a beautiful breakfast. An assortment of cereal and fruit, fresh squeezed OJ, a choice of sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, smoked salmon etc. It was the perfect start of the day before a hike through the Morton National Park. Thank you Bronwyn and David your warm and gracious hospitality, we will be back!

The beds were soft (not to my wife's liking but I didn't mind), there was a mini fridge (freezer section a bit too frozen over), soaps next to the sink and shower (hot water tap didn't work in kitchenette sink) and a good TV to keep the kids entertained (good old ABC kids). We popped in to check out the included breakfast in the morning. They had run out of bread/toast within 10 minutes (large group came and cleared them out and they had no backup bread) which left cereal, canned fruit, apples and pot coffee available. But there is maccas across the road plus lots of good cafes in Nowra and Berry if you want something better. Overall, you get what you pay for and was good enough for our needs.

It has the best combination of professionalism, personal attention, and comfortable choices of any place I've ever been to. Add the location, which could be, added all up, the best for exploring up and down NSW's south coast (which has the best beaches and wildlife and bushwalks in the world, imo, and I've live here for over 30 years)--and you have a place that isn't just suitable for a drop in stay, but to live in for a wonderfully restful and stimulating retreat. As for exploring the region, you don't have to worry about stumbling around. Rob asked me upon checkin whethwr he could help with what we had planned, and he was brilliant, as we had wanted to go to a specific area that isn't often open. He also handed me the best guidebook to the Shoalhaven, and gave me an up-to-date prognosis of the weather to help our planning. As to the room, these small-business owners seem to be behind the times. Instead of going cheap and stingy, they bloody well astounded me. Huge snowy-white towels. A lot of toiletries--manuka honey-based, no less, beat even the famous hotel in California that was all reputation, frankly, like the whiff of coffee left in an emptied jar. Here, Fresh coffee and plunger pot, a range of good teas and bikkies, a full better kitchenette. Everything utterly spotless, so well. But none of that matters if the room isn't comfortable. The room is light and airy and roomy, but the choices made in furnishing it are exceptional. That choice of chairs! Three types they chose--balcony, lounge, desk. All excellent. But when have you found a comfortable chair in a hotel, let alone a 'motel'? I have a bad back, and would be happy to live in that room, which would make a brilliant writers retreat. Of course most hotel and motel rooms couldn't be writers' retreats. Lighting in most makes reading a pain. This has a range of lights that made me think, once again, that these owners are crazy, tossing pearls before swine. This little piggie is very grateful. Five stars for mattress and bedding, too. And those pillows. I don't know what they are, but it did a better job than my own in supporting my neck and head. The look of the furniture is very pleasant, too. No self-conscious style, just warm and friendly.s I know this sounds ridiculously positive. I can't help that. On the plus or minus side, the room was dead quiet at night. I loved it. And, since it's just metres from and looking onto the Greenwell Point jetty, you have full view, in addition to the lovely view of the waterway, you get the treat or not, of observing a large group of pelicans who spend much time either swaggering around the pier, or sitting on posts beside it. They're so amusing, they could be quite a distraction.

It had two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other two singles a large lounge room, kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, and, best of all, coffee and plunger. Also had washer and dryer, allowing me to do two loads of washing before heading home in the morning. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and very well laid out. With secure parking and concierge, this was truly a classy place. A bit on the high priced side of things, but wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nowra after visiting here, was truly worth it. Thank you.
