Came in tonight about 30 minutes before closing and was told they were out of the shoe I wanted. A few minutes later, I noticed the same employee telling every single customer that they didn't have their size. What made it worse was seeing them smiling and laughing after customers walked away. It felt intentional and extremely unprofessional. If you don't want to help customers near closing time, just say that--but don't waste people's time. Be advised This store is run by children! I don't know what happened to this store it use to be great with customer service, I come all the time. The other day I went there was one girl with ginger hair that is tall she was just on her phone I believe her co worker called her Dey, I looked at her with a shoe in my hand and she still didn't ask me if I need help she just walked away laughing on her phone. This tall dude was also on the floor and he just looked lost and didn't help me at all and was just working on something else. After that I just decided to put the shoe back and went to footlocker where they were able to help me and gave me five start customer service. Also this is not the first time I come in the store and the girl is on her phone and not helping people. Something should be changed. read more

Scored the Nike Retro Dunk Lows (aka Pandas)! The store was clean and the associates were helpful. Instead of buying the shoe with a mark up, I remember this Shoe Palace had them in stock but sold out. I went in and found them restocked and Nike will be dropping them again 09/26. Pandas are a really popular shoe so resellers like to wipe out inventory, shrink wrap and try to make $50 to $100 for sizing. I noticed the resale market crash so it is not as crazy as before. I came in the other day and I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. I have never been given such horrible customer service before. There was two people that looked like managers in the front (guy with a buzz and a girl with ginger hair) they just kept talking to each other and never asked if I needed help with anything. They just looked at me and continued on with their conversation even though I had a shoe in my hand and needed a size. I had to go to the back of the store to ask one of the girls working for a size. And when I went to go leave, they had moved in front of the store and they were just laughing and giggling outside. If I could put zero stars I would. read more

Terrible customer service. Hardly anyone acknowledges you in the store. The other issue I had with this store is that they had a label on a shirt that said 2 shirts for $25 but then had another sign that said $30 for 2 shirts. If the staff fails to remove the $25 dollar label, the store should honor the price. The manager said, you can just leave it, someone else will buy. What a fine manager this store hired. How ridiculous! I've bought most of my shoes from this store in the past. Next time I am taking my money elsewhere. By the way, I did buy my daughter a pair of shoes that cost 120 dollars. However, I was disappointed that there are no basketball shoes for women, or even in boys' sizes of basketball shoes for me (a woman) to purchase. Last week I went into Shoe Palace in Santa Anita Mall 400 S Baldwin Ave Arcadia, CA 91007 United States I walked in with my 5 year old holding my hand as we walked into the store 2 men (boys) were at the cashier talking to one another having a conversation (and I can assure you it wasn't work related) as I walked I had to excuse them from the conversation to ask what I was looking for..I politely asked where I can find kids basketball shoes and employee Tommy ID #301829 looked at the wall full of shoes and said "and" or "there" (I forgot what absurd reaction I got) I stopped my jaw dropped and was very insulted how a human being can talk to a customer (forget being a customer) how can someone talk to another human being like that. I quickly turned around and said "what do you mean there" and the gentleman (I believe might have been a manager) said "yo help him out man" and I immediately said I don't need your help. Stephanie Another employee helped me right after and this Tommy boy was starring me down the rest of my time at Shoe palace and mind you, you better believe I was also starring him down cause I am no one to be treated in that manner especially with my 2 kids and my Mother with me. I happened to stop in on a whim just the other day. I was shocked that I received such awesome service. In the past, I'd visited but didn't really get any service, not good service and not bad service, just NO service. I was in on Air Max day and just kinda peeked my head in to see what was on sale, what was available, to check out new color ways and to see what might be available for me, baby & Papa. We like to be "matchy matchy" sometimes in photos. We didn't really find anything that we absolutely had to leave with but we did see some nice shoes. We don't care much for the available apparel right now but the selection was just OK. The sales person who helped me, whose name I wasn't able to catch, was super friendly and was able to answer all my questions. We talked about available sizes, color ways, comfort and fit of various styles of shoes, etc. He wasn't sure of some of his stock but didn't hesitate to run into the back to take a look and let me know. I wasn't expecting as much service as I'd received but I'm glad I stopped in when I did. The other sales person working wasn't real friendly. We said "thanks, bye." but he didn't say a word. Hmm, ok. He was so opposite the other sales person. That was a bummer but it's OK. I guess he thought it would be OK to kinda ignore us since we were leaving. Still, great experience at the store. I came to exchange a shoe, and as i stepped up to the cash register, i expected an employee to assist me right away. Instead, ONE and only ONE employee was working...and staring at us from the back storage with no notice. i stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me exchange a shoe from a 7.5 to a 6.5 LOL ridiculous. When an employee finally decided to tend to my needs, there was not a pen prepared for me to sign the receipt, and to make matters worse, they were so unhelpful and unenthusiastic about their job. So i stood there waiting for a pen smh Final complaint, they didn't give me a receipt until i asked for one, and it wasn't even the receipt. My new favorite shoe store. My wife has been ragging on me to buy new shoes for the longest. I first went to champs across the way but everything felt so cluttered. It was difficult for me to decide which shoe fit my style. Unfortunately I left and stumbled upon Shoe Palace. Right away I was able to easily look at all the shoes and look at their variety. This review is long overdue! I came to this Shoe Palace twice within the past two months and had the amazing opportunity to be helped by the Manager, Cynthia. She made sure I was comfortable, especially having a daughter that was running around the store trying to find the perfect kicks, she delivered! We chose out a pair of Airmax 95s and I was eyeing a pair to match with her. She was not pushy and offered to get out a pair in my size to try out. She even made sure she got a fresh pair from the back for my daughter, which I appreciated. Cynthia was so warm and welcoming! My second time at the store, I was surprised she remembered me and my daughter. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything but she mentioned to me that the Hello Kitty x Shoe Palace clothing was $10 a piece. What a deal! I grabbed a set for my daughter. I'm extremely unsatisfied with the customer service I got while I was trying to return my shoes. I purchased my shoes 3 days ago and didn't have time to actually wear them outside. One of the two times my FOOT was inside those "brand new" shoes was inside Shoe Palace to try it on. The second time was today inside my house but I took it off before I even stepped outside just because it was a little tight. When I brought the shoes in today to return them, the lady that helped me told me that the shoes were worn. (Note: I only tried it at Shoe Palace and once inside my house. One shoe looked a little worn on the bottom... just ONE shoe!) I was able to return two other pairs of shoes just fine. read more

I have a shoe freak in the family and it's almost time for school. Went to the mall in search of a particle shoe. Visited several stores before I decided to call down to Shoe Palace. Justin answered my call and told me they had the shoe I wanted and the size. Told my kid, let's go. Called back and spoke with Sergio and asked how many pair they had and to place them on hold. As soon I walked in, there were several salesmen ready to assist. I walked straight to the counter and asked for Sergio and Justin. They had the shoes ready for me. Had a nice brief convo, had some laughs and decided to buy another pair. These folks are cool. I can't understand the negative comments. I guess it all depends on the customer. So it's come to my attention that shoe palace is on the verge of having everything in sync (hahah) meaning online sales would be actually be able to be returned in store. I experienced buyers remorse with an online purchase when I had a sales associate communicate to me that the online and in store inventory's weren't linked up like how other stores have it. Obviously no one really has time to return online purchases through email correspondence and printing labels and setting up a ups appointment or do a usps drop off because consumers today feel a need for everything being instantly given. Came in to check out the shoe selection... stopped at the clearance section. To start off they don't have to size a kids feet...go figure a shoes store that can't size a foot... then when we go to pay the cashier tells us that the shoes were not priced right.. they were $10 more.. mind you there was about 4 or 5 pairs of the same shoe marked the same... we were getting two pairs of the same style and because one of the pairs they got from the back we had to pay the extra $10 "because that box was not labeled".
