While on my quest for boots I found out that I have Narrow heels, left foot one size larger than my right, A very HIGH arch, and a wide toe base so it has been extremely difficult to find boots that fit correctly. When I found TOWN & COUNTRY SHOES I was surprised to find the wide variety and options they had in stock. Every one is friendly and supportive to find the boots or shoes that fit. They even ordered a different sizes for me without additional cost. They have foot ware for adults and children. They have some socks, belts, wallets, and others items.

They clearly were not. We had 4 pair of shoes that would have totaled close to $400, along with several name brand clothing items. He would not make eye contact with me and was extremely poor in his overall presentation--his statement when walking away was "I don't know what to tell you". The poor cashier looked shocked and apologized over and over, saying "I'm so sorry, he's the main manager and there's no one else above him or I would call someone else". Allegedly to prevent fraud a phone call was made to my residence to confirm that I in fact had purchased the items and because Academy Sports got a answering machine instead of a live person they canceled the order. Further review of my answering machine verified no call from Academy Sports ever took place. Therefore I had to place my order through Amazon. Academy Sports has the absolute worst customer service. I will NEVER purchase another item through this company. The older man there unleashed a rant about how teachers never stand up, are overpaid, don't do any work, do not deserve a retirement and how he doesn't want to pay for a litany of confused and untrue grievances. The teachers I know stand all day long, work before and after the school day, often come in on weekends to do tasks that there isn't time for during school hours, pay for hundreds of dollars worth of supplies and other items for their classrooms and students out of pocket, and give their jobs 100% for mediocre wages. I will never shop there again; too much unreasoning anger and unsolicited venom.

Say if it's fall through winter they have the boots and clogs out, if it's summer they've got sandals. Even when its not the season they still got what you're looking for. I've been in the store twice and every time I come home I'm happy and satisfied. The old man, and his wife are REALLY REALLY REALLY nice, always trying to engage you on the conversation. Very friendly, makes the customer feel welcome, and overall just super nice people. Last time I was at the store I bought a green, new balance, cute, everyday walking sneakers. For only $40!!! And they still look very brand new! The time before that I bought another pair of new balance, neon color green, running/hiking, working out tennis shoe, for $40. I know, I can't believe the price either, but it's the TRUTH! next time i go there, i want to buy a new bag/purse. they also have those too, hanging up on the ceiling. I love it there!
