Proceeded to hand her my card to process payment. She very gruffly said that I need to run the card myself (previous times that this occurred, the cashier was more than happy to help). Girl gave me my receipt with no thank you or any sort of acknowledgment. Went by the customer service counter to let them know that the girl overseeing the checkout had a horrible attitude. Lady at the cs counter acted like that this sort of customer service was something to be proud of. I highly doubt anything will happen because of my venting. I get it--not every single trip can be perfect. But when an employee acts like their job is beneath them, I'm gonna say something.

Maybe it's a Pennsylvania thing or a southwestern Pennsylvania thing. Like in Pittsburgh, people won't cross the river to get something if it is near them on their side of the river. However, in Greensburg replace the river with just the town. Honestly there really isn't much difference between the two locations in Greensburg. The plazas are different and that's just about it. This one has the GetGo in the parking lot, maybe that's the draw to this one? Setup inside is the same, almost exact. Maybe they are going to do like they did in Johnstown and revamp one of them, add an Ace Hardware inside. Anyway, I keep getting distracted here, because there isn't much difference between the two. I did notice a lot of people going in here and buying their beer and wine. A lot were just coming out with alcohol and nothing more. No judging, I get it, but you could have saved the hassle and got that at a nearby gas station as well. I actually find this one to be more of a hassle to get to. The intersection to enter the plaza is super busy all the time, plus they share the lot with other big box stores that just makes it a nightmare at times. But we all need groceries, so you kind of need the store.

When you first arrive at the Pleasant Unity store, you might think that you arrived at the wrong…read morelocation. Trust me, just park and walk up the ramp that will lead you to the store entrance. Don't forget to grab a cart....they are kept at the top of the ramp. Once in the store make a right turn to the deli/meat department. Don't see what you are looking for? Just ask one of the employees...they are happy to answer your questions. If you need something that isn't displayed....maybe a different weight or you don't see any pasta salad, someone will be able to help you. Always have fresh products!! When leaving the meat/deli area, make a right and enter the produce section. If it is the correct season, you may find local produce for sale. Keep investigating the store and you will find bakery products, candy, frozen foods and many other products. You can't go wrong shopping here!!

Firstly, the woman I spoke to on the phone when placing the order was incredibly friendly! I wanted five steaks but she let me know that if I got a sixth one, there would be a discount of $ off per pound so I opted to do that. We picked up the order and the steaks look phenomenal, I'm really excited to cook them. I'm even more excited about the price - 6 strip steaks for $31?!?!?! How is it possible?! Amazing. Definitely would recommend this spot!

The store wasn't very busy at that time, but it was late at night so that might of been why. I was impressed by their wide selection of items and products. A lot more than other Walmart's. My boyfriend spent a long time in the tool section and was impressed by their selection. Also, the store was very clean for a Walmart. I will definitely drive the extra few miles the next time I am in the area and need to go to Walmart.

Rick and I stopped in here on our epic Cumberland-McKeesport ride. Even though we were only 20 or so miles out of our destination, we were running a little low on supplies. To reach the Giant Eagle from the Great Allegheny Passage, exit at Main Street and cross the river. Note, the bridge is really narrow. You may want to walk your bike across using the footpath. Turn left onto First Street (right after the tracks). Take First Street north to Robertson Street and then make a left.
