Oh my goodness! I've never felt so welcomed and important in any drug store in my life. Since I am staying at a nearby hotel and walking around discovering downtown, I needed to stop and get a couple of things from a local drugstore. I walked into this location through one of the indoor access is, with a large envelope in my arm. One of the associates spotted me and assumed I was looking for a post office, and she so politely and sweetly said that they didn't have a post office there, but started giving me directions on where the closest one was and asking me if there was anything else she could help me with. Wow! I think her and asked her for other things I was looking for in her store, and she cheerlead brought me around the store, personally showing me where the items were located. Again, this has never happened to me! This store is so clean, so brightly lit, so well laid out, and everything is so easy to find. The staff were incredibly friendly and smiling and wishing me a good day. The only negative I could find was that I didn't get to interact with a live person at the checkout, they are all self-serve checkouts. If you are downtown, looking for a fully stocked and fully friendly drugstore with a huge variety of items, this is the place! read more

Service was HORRIBLE. I drove to this location as their website indicated 2 items in stock. I had to wait on the service clerk in the beauty area to finish with a customer killing time waiting on a prescription, which is fine - but without acknowledgement. When I finally got to speak with her, she could not find my item, then telling me she was only filling in, citing that perhaps the item was in the back. When I told her I had driven specifically to this location due to item showing in stock she suggested another retailer vs offering to look, or finding me someone else who could help, or offering to have someone contact me once the item had been located. This location is small and this is not the first time I have left without the product advertised as either in stock or carried as advertised in the flyer. Am happy to travel further to another retail provider. read more

Chocolate from Valentine's on for 90% off! Need I say more, LOL! Great store. Large, airy, clean, bright and good location especially if you are on foot. Friendly service at the front til and not much of a line up mid-day. Other than the chocolate I did not see a clearance rack but the deals of the week are pretty good usually. I always love going to a shoppers drug mart because I feel very confident that this is a canadian store/brand and his location is huge. Although because it is on 4th street basically bordering downtown and close to 17th ave- sometimes there is the odd individual in there but for the most part it is good! read more

I love this Shoppers. I have been going there for years now, and it is my local pharmacy as well. For years, the pharmacy was run by a man named Marty, he has since left but it is still great. This shoppers is no doubt a great one stop shop for all those that live in Mission. It has everything you would expect from a SDM but it also has: A Canada Post Outlet Frozen Foods Canned foods and Dry Goods Healthy & Organic Food Section Pet Food Cleaning Products Digital Cameras As you can see, it has just about everything you could need. I was there tonight picking up a prescription and needed to pick up some coffee cream, it was on sale for 99cents marked down from $349 This wasnt stale dated, it was just a sale. As I looked around, I saw more and more items that were significantly marked down. So there are some good mark downs and deals to be had. Make sure you get a shoppers optimum card ( loyalty program), the points add up. In addition to street parking all around they have free parking behind the bldg. Entrance is off 25th St. This shoppers is excellent and a great addition to a great neighbourhood. read more

It's your typical Shoppers, super useful for me as it's local and within walking distance. Has everything you would expect a shoppers to, which is pretty much everything you would need. I love the fact that they're open till midnight, great in case you run out of something or need something in a pinch! Staff is very friendly and helpful, never had an issue, sometimes they can be a bit understaffed and the line-ups can get a little long, but nothing drastic and it's not really an issue. read more

Horrible organization, horrible service. I was in a treatment facility and they were the main drugstore and they messed up the orders all the time delivered to the wrong addresses. I even went into the store for an injection of my medication and never have I ever experienced such horrible and painful assistance. I love my local Shoppers, first of all it's set right on the corner of fourth and only a couple of blocks from my home so if I need a last minute item or I have to mail something its right there. The staff here is very friendly and the pharmacy department really knows their stuff. There is a good makeup department here but they haven't had a person working in their photography area for months, better bet for this service is in the Shoppers on 17th and 7 Avenue SW. All in all a bright colourful convenient location right by the river. So buy an ice cream bar and take a stroll with a loved one down by Elbow River. read more

If I could give this Shopper's zero stars I would. The one female pharmacist that I've had to deal with was very rude. The first time I figured that maybe she was having a bad day and shrugged it off. Nope, that's how she was any time I had to deal with her. Treating me like I'm some kind of inconvenience and a waste of her time. I have since switched to London Drug's, where I'm treated as a valuable customer and treated respectfully. In my books, this Shoppers has got pretty much everything you need. Yes, the service is a little sparse at certain times, but overall, a Shoppers, is a Shoppers, is a Shoppers. I am a fan of this Shopper's as its big and the selection is usually very good. They have great mark-downs on many items from juice to dairy items including cheese, milk and cream. The staff are excellent, especially the front end people who have been there for a long time. They make me feel like I'm their friend. read more

I have been to this Shoppers quite a few times and the customer service is not good. The girls working in the cosmetics department are always friendly and greet you when you come in the door which is nice. Once you get to the counter it is a different mentality. I had a girl say "seriously?" one time when I wanted cash back. They rarely say "hello", even if you greet them with a "hello" first. Usually they just continue on with their conversation that they are having with another staff member. There have been several times they did not ask for my Optimum card. Going into Shoppers you aren't really looking for customer service, you just want to grab what you came in for and leave, but they have been noticeably rude. I have been going to this Shoppers Drug Mart for three years. I fill all of my prescriptions here and the pharmacy staff are great. Let me preface this by saying that I have worked in retail and know how frustrating some customers can be, and I always try to treat others in customer service with the utmost courtesy. Tonight however, I was picking up a few things and when I went to pay for the items, the casher saw that I was paying with change (loonies and quarters for a small bill). Immediately she said that she couldn`t take my change because her manager (Jason, so I`m told) gets angry at her when she takes change at the end of her shift. I explained to her that I already had it counted out and that it was only a small bill, but she persisted that this would get her into big trouble. When I asked the other cashier about it, he told me that the change would be fine, but she insisted on not taking it. So, basically the cashier couldn't be bothered to count the change required for the small bill. The duration of this conversation lasted longer than it would have been if she would have let me pay with cash in the first place. read more

He said 'l like how this shirt smells, what detergent did youuse :-) ' and I bought that men fragrance for his birthday,, lol. It was a hit, and I looked like a hero.
