Lack of Recognition: Despite my long history with the pharmacy, I'm often asked if it's my first visit. On one occasion, when picking up a prescription I had already dropped off, the associate questioned whether I was sure I brought it there. Disorganized Appointment Process: We booked a shingles shot appointment and confirmed details ahead of time. However, when we called to confirm, it seemed the appointment was only being made at that moment. We even received a second confirmation call five minutes later. Billing Issues: At the appointment, we were told to pay $167 for the prescription, even though our plan covers it 100%. The staff admitted they hadn't processed it through the plan yet. I verified my coverage and confirmed full coverage. Poor Follow-Up: I called to speak with the owner, who left a voicemail promising to call back the next day. Unfortunately, I never heard back. After another attempt today, I decided to move to a new pharmacy that handled everything correctly and confirmed coverage immediately. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disorganized--a real "gong show." After decades of loyalty, we've moved our services elsewhere. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of service for other customers.

I heard his entire phone call with the pharmacist, the phone was given to me provided I have medical and pharmacy experience. I tried to tell the pharmacist once I had health / pharmacy experience and she kept talking without stopping to listen or to allow me to actually speak. Admittedly at this point I raised my voice and repeated what I was trying to say and she hung up. I called back and spoke to a male staff who was more respectful than the pharmacist. The issue was we asked 3 times prior to have a note added to my partner's file to alert staff to stop filling every single RX that gets sent without any verbal consent from the patient / my partner. It causes unnecessary time and stress for patients when a pharmacy fills their prescription without consent even after being asked 3 times prior to stop. Pharmacist tried to avoid giving her name and license number and told us we had to write it down ourselves and tried to tell us she couldn't write it for us because she couldn't write on the prescription - This was after she had just written on the prescription.. We had to let her know she could still write it on a sticky note if writing on the same paper as the prescription was an issue. That pharmacist needs to be investigated by management and Pharm licensing body. She also tried to lie to me on the phone and deflect blame to my partner when I heard the entire call. She tried to pretend my partner was purposely withholding his date of birth, this was not remotely the case has she actually listened at all. She lied.

I walked into this location through one of the indoor access is, with a large envelope in my arm. One of the associates spotted me and assumed I was looking for a post office, and she so politely and sweetly said that they didn't have a post office there, but started giving me directions on where the closest one was and asking me if there was anything else she could help me with. Wow! I think her and asked her for other things I was looking for in her store, and she cheerlead brought me around the store, personally showing me where the items were located. Again, this has never happened to me! This store is so clean, so brightly lit, so well laid out, and everything is so easy to find. The staff were incredibly friendly and smiling and wishing me a good day. The only negative I could find was that I didn't get to interact with a live person at the checkout, they are all self-serve checkouts. If you are downtown, looking for a fully stocked and fully friendly drugstore with a huge variety of items, this is the place!

Considering Covid brought changes for pharmacists, plus issues with accessing HC or medication, we found them helpful & supportive even at the height of the pandemic. We believe pharmacy staff deserve our patience, understanding & most importantly our thanks with the changes continuing to go on. The staff in the rest of the store are 5-star worthy as well. The people that work there are always on point and quick to answer any questions. But my kudos especially go out to the bald guy (can't remember his name) who, when I'm getting prescriptions for my mom has given me more time and patience then I ever expected and even walked around isles to help me choose different alternatives to certain products as my mother had some specific health issues. This truly impressed me coming from the big box store of the pharmacy world. This place always has great deals on and remember the points card as it is actually really beneficial. Being a guy, I resisted another rewards program, as I was never a regular.... Since getting the great treatment in the back I stop there regularly even if it's for odds and ends.

Here are my complaints (1) the staff appears to change constantly therefore whatever you have "solved" with the last group, goes right back into chaos with the new ones. (2) for the first few months they faxed for prescription refills to a number that was NOT my doctor. Then they faxed to a dr's fax that wasn't even at the right clinic. (3) They tell you your prescription has "been received". Or "come back in an hour" when it has NOT been received and has NOT been prepared. They have strange rules and regulations with regard to Alberta Health Care (when and what it will cover) and waiting periods (for a medication I have been on for almost 30 years). I discovered from my new (Calgary) pharmacy that neither philosophy (if I can call it that) was true. This pharmacy is inept in many ways.
