I'm such a relieved and happy customer now that I've moved my account of 35 years. There has been great staff through out the years although management obviously was horrible. New ownership has changed nothing about the quality of service. Only getting worse with the miserable amount of staff in the pharmacy, Ignorant from front line to pharmacists. I have a recognizable prescription and get asked the same questions by the same pharmacist. Look up get to know my face! Wake up leadership figure out a way to create a better working environment. I was a customer at this pharmacy for about 18 months for trans healthcare.. During my time here the pharmacist explained how they must use legal name and how adding a preferred name is not an option.. I was okay with that at the time as its dealing with healthcare plans and medical professionals of the such, until i found out from a pharmacist freind of mine just how easy it is to add a preferred name, and how its not a hassel or a problem at all.. I called a few pharmacies in town to inquire and every pharmacy i called including other shoppers drug marts all could easily add a preferred name in brackets beside the legal name. Thus making the pateint not have to yell out their old name 2 or 3 times before the pharmacist could actually hear them.. This situation made me want to move pharmacies, but it wasn't until the pharmacist and staff started calling me "sir" while looking at my medical chart knowing i am trans that i actually left these mean pharmacists.. It has been well over a year since ANYONE has called me "sir" or misgendered me, i fly pretty well under that radar. But the only place i get it is from professionals who are providing me with healthcare ? Maybe someone else needs to be in charge at this pharmacy ? My new pharmacy is a delight to visit when i need too, the professionals there would never want me using my old name because they actually care about their patients, unlike this place who would hide their laughter while making me repeat my old name over and over then calling me "sir".. read more
