Relatively clean Shoppers with a good selection. It was not hard to find what I needed. Great part is that they have a Canada Post inside. Easy to get your shot if you need it. read more

Harshad and team are amazing!…read more The level of service and professionalism is second to none! Reminiscent of an old school pharmacy - the pharmacist is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly - and they actually answer the telephone! Free delivery and a lower dispensing cost than the big chains makes this a great value. I can even email them in the evening and get a response the next morning (or possibly that night)! They even proactively reach out to my physician for refill requests.

However, driving there takes less than 10 minutes. I filled my asthma inhaler prescription at 3am. Why 3am? Because silly me was too lazy to do it during the day and my flight was in a couple of hours. The pharmacist who was on duty and I had a great conversation about being from the Caribbean. Plus, it took 8 minutes for her to fill my 'scription. That never happens during regular business hours. You won't find much people on staff or that even want to help you. They are usually too bubbly for late night or are dead on their feet. It doesn't bother me though. After shopping here for so long, I'm pretty much a seasoned vet and don't need any help navigating the aisles. I can however spent an inordinate amount of time in here figuring out what I need, picking up things I don't need, and then rationalizing that I'm about to spend double than what I estimated. But since they don't close, I don't have to rush and I can take all the time I need--even until 5am...I'm not saying that's happened before but--it has.

It's not quite like bringing lunch from home, but close enough that I can pretend. And maybe it's because my home grocery store is price-gouging Metro, but there are some serious deals to be had of you're in on a relatively regular basis - deals I've never seen at another Shoppers (granted, I'm normally just in two others.) Milk is cheaper, cheese goes on sale for $3 a block and they have an extra selection of tchotchkes without the Halloween costumes and excess of holiday cheer. A star is lost for the limited staff on hand at checkout, especially on the many Senior's Days they hold. Pouting even as I type this. For real.

I was not aware that my health insurance had changed (thanks, Manulife) and the number on file was no longer valid. I offered to simply pay for my prescription and sort out the insurance later but the pharmacist said she would look into it for me. Which she did, and she let me know when the change occurred and that my new card was on the way! She also called my doctor to get other necessary information I managed to forget in my pain-addled state. Very pleased and grateful for the service at this location.

I was the one who made the mistake so that's fine, I understand. However, one of the Pharmacists (male) (maybe the same one referenced in the other review) was very rude about it. He spoke so loudly and condescendingly and impolitely about my personal private details that everyone could hear. Customers and even the other pharmacists were all looking at him talk to me. I am a very kind and soft spoken person, so I did not provoke this kind of behaviour. I don't even write reviews often, but this was just unbelievably inappropriate and terrible customer service. I won't be going there again.

Good selection of products, especially the food/drink section. Nothing that makes it stand out over others. I took an UNSEALED fragrance from the clearance shelf and placed iit in my shopping cart after unsuccessfully attempting to open it to see if the scent was to my liking. I also placed 2 other sealed fragrances which I did NOT open due to the fact that they were sealed, of course. Then, I continued placing other items from different aisles in the cart. It must have been close to 10 minutes since I had left the fragrance section and then my companion sucessfully got to open the fragrance box. Then, out of nowhere the cosmetics clerk showed up like 30 feet away from her area and rudely barked that I must buy this item since "you opened it" and that "I always do that". I refuted that this is a lie, that I haven't opened fragrance boxes before. I am a regular customer to this SDM location and, from time to time, I buy clearance fragrances after spending a few minutes near the shelf browsing the internet on my phone for reviews. This time, I could not find any reviews so I initially attempted to open the unsealed (but tight) box before I checked the other aisles. I did this in front of her and she did not give me a warning then. Maybe because I was not able to open the box initially? The fact that she followed me around, about 10 minutes from the first time she saw me, and patiently waited till my companion was able to open the unsealed but tight fragrance box, all the while consciously failing to give me a heads up in this SECOND OPPORTUNITY, revealed her true intentions. Definitely, I will not buy fragrances at this location anymore. I'd rather go to the Yonge and Bloor location where the clerks there are helpful and corteous. To the manager of this SDM at Lawrence Plaza, you need to train your clerks properly in customer service. If they see any customer doing something that is against your policy (unknown to us), please have them inform us instead of surreptitiously follow paying customers around the store and talk to us in a way you would talk to a thief.
