The product selection feels curated toward offering a few, cleverly designed solutions that cater to a wide range of everyday problems, rather than overwhelming me with dozens of variants for the same item. If I come in with a specific shortcoming in mind, I usually leave with a practical fix that costs R$10. And despite that low price, I can count on the product to serve my needs for months after. Consider the automatic plant waterers I have that were designed to give a second life to single-use plastic bottles. Or the towel hooks that attach by suction cup to my shower's glass walls. Or the little trays that secure by magnet to the refrigerator by my front door, giving me an easy place to organize wallet, phone, gum, sunglasses, and other stuff I'll want the next time I head out. When compared to other discount stores in São Paulo and beyond, the dependability of Daiso's inexpensive products blows the competition away. Finally, service at Daiso is good enough. Shopping Pátio Higienópolis came to the rescue on one of those no good, very bad days. What would…read morelift our spirits? A bit of retail therapy, of course. Staying at the Tryp hotel just around the corner, we came upon this beautiful mall while walking the dog. At first, we stuck to the periphery, not realizing the entire mall is dog friendly. Once inside, we found tons of stores on 4 or 5 levels. Everything from well-known name brand shops to smaller boutiques. And it appealed to all price points. Meanwhile, we spotted tons of shoppers with dogs. Small poodles, large golden retrievers -- this place really was dog friendly! There's even a special elevator for dogs. I've never seen anything like it. Just as there were stores, there were restaurants too and all of them also dog-friendly. This discovery turned our day right around. We then found Santo Grao (and ran into friends unexpectedly) and 2 bottles of wine later, things were feeling pretty alright again. :)

Achei algumas lojas bem legais, outras super ultrapassadas. O cinema é Itaú e mais vazio, então relativamente fácil de encontrar lugar. Voltaria aqui em uma necessidade específica mas não acho que seja a melhor opção da região.
