From prior letters, emails as early as Jan/23 included proposed response or plaintiff request "No Service Docs to be signed". 2. A summons was issued but multiple arguable technical glitches over processing (several attempts failed) USPS/eMail etc., period Sep to early October. Here: Terry could have simply begin preparing an answer or at minimal establish an official entry of appearance. 3. On late October a license Service Processor effectuated a surprised (Gotcha) service of summons and complaint, an uncertified restraining order, basically all docs thought to have been properly avoided at the front garage door early one Sunday morning posed as THE GARDENER. Terry was MIA for "3" weeks. 4. No official ENTRY of APPEARANCE 80 Days old. A HUGE PAY LOAD of BILLS. Terry's files were in altogether about 7--10 pages: a). THE DEMURRER, b). A CROSS-COMPLAINT (which made no SENSE) & c). MOTION TO STRIKE 1 of 8 CAUSES of ACTIONS in THE COMPLAINT. Terry FILED THEM ALTOGETHER same day and PRESENTED an ADDITIONAL HUGE PAY LOAD of BILLS. Without actually preparing an answer even a DRAFT to the actual Complaint. 5. Here: 2 days earlier from the above bills and filings Terry sent an email to the Plaintiff directly (Not through the Court) in which Terry titled; "Letter to Meet to Confer to Demur". He said he would review my contract at no charge and let me know his take on things. I sent him all the details and then we connected soon thereafter. I was so impressed that John not only reviewed the entire 12 page contract, but he looked up the contractor's license, he googled the property on google Maps, and then patiently discussed with me my options. I was so appreciative to have his attention and thoroughness on my situation. Lawyers are expensive and value their time, so it was nice to see his willingness to have an earnest discussion before I had to commit to retaining a lawyer. He was easy to speak with and while I chose to work things out directly with the contractor, Mr Simpson's consultation was what I needed to give me confidence on which approach would be best. Thank you Mr Simpson!
