My experiences with Brandon Wells were superb. I was pretty lost when I started seeing him. I was having problems at work, some drug/alcohol issues "to cope," my relationship was being negatively affected, and life was hell. But after my first session, I immediately felt maybe I could return to my former self. First, I felt no judgment for my life-state at that time (i.e., spinning out of control). We covered each area with specific "homework" assignments to attack the job issues, alcohol abuse, and my floundering relationship. We had frequent visits in the beginning, but then tapered down as I improved. Mr. Wells was supportive, and was extremely responsive to questions sent even by email! We would either cover my question in the next session, or I would find a supportive note in return. Can you imagine your typical mental-health care provider being this responsive? I have been in therapy most of my adult life. Most of my experiences in therapy have had little or no success. I have major chronic depression, chronic suicidal ideation, and Borderline Personality Disorder. Most therapists do not want to deal with BPD.
