First time here, but it was during the day, so it wasn't very full. Typical, groovy sports bar. TVs, pool table, food. The menu was diverse, lots more f choices. I ordered the Patty Melt (delicious!) and onion ring bags (breaded and crispy). I was tempted to order pepperoni chips, but I'll wait for the next visit The lovely lady behind the bar, Miss Jamie, was humorous and a great conversationalist. She made the visit memorable. I will definitely be back and try those pepperoni chips! I will update m review after two more visits. The owner, asked me why only 3 stars, after my review but should have PM'd me, so it could reply. That rubbed the wrong way, because I stated that I would update the review after a few more visits. Seedy crowd and unfriendly bartenders :( I guess don't go unless you know the bartenders or know someone who knows the bartenders. Was blatantly ignored not once but twice by two different bar tenders and then given side eye when asking for the bare minimum (a drink and then later to close out). Not to also mention me and my girlfriends were sexually harassed throughout the night and then later bullied off the pool table by none other than two of the bartenders friends. I have been driving by this place for over 20 years and have never stopped. Well last week I needed a place to watch the soccer game. I called and they said no problem. Well, they have over 7 tv's and were more than happy to put the game on one of them for me. It was on the spanish channel, so I did not request to hear the sounds. They have four pool tables that are in great shape. They even had pool ques that were straight. lol Very friendly customers that helpped me enjoy the game and a few rounds of pool. It was clean with perfectly atmosphere . aka a good local bar that welcomes newbees. Drinks were fair priced. and the burger was very good, not great , but very good for the price. Definitely avoid this place unless you're looking for an inhospitable and hostile environment. Not only were infants present in the bar around midnight, there were multiple patrons that were over served and driving drunk. The female bartender warned a patron not to drive after over serving him but allowed him to leave visibly inebriated. Additionally, service was very slow, complete tunnel vision, and my party needed to flag down the bar tender multiple times. The atmosphere is great, the artwork on the walls is nice, well lit outside area with TVs and space heaters so you can have a smoke with your drink, and the spacing of the tables from the pool tables. First I'm told they don't have what I want then he brings me shots stating that he "found" it, but it was WATERED down cheap tequila. How do they expect people not to notice?!?!? Definitely a great neighborhood bar. Leann was great her bloody Mary's were on point. Shawn was super personable and introduce himself to us very down to earth. Price wasn't what I expected, reading reviews saying it was expensive was just not the case. Cheaper then most and if you can't afford to drink out I suggest you stay home. Overall this place is worth stopping in. The patrons were nice and didn't make my group feel like outsiders which happens to often at local bars. We will definitely be back Clean and updated decor and using the restroom didn't feel like I was gonna see a cockroach run across the floor. I am a local to this area and this used to be one of my favorite places to drink on the weekend, but since the new owners came in, it has quickly gone down hill. Prices went up on food and drinks, and the owners son is a A-hole. They charged me $8.75 for a beer and $20 for a shot. Not only that, the bar tender added $20 tip on my bill without asking. Sad little man child of an owner who treats his patrons like shit. This all started when a friend and I went to play pool on a seemingly open table after sitting at the bar for 30 MINUTES. We tried to put a dollar in, and it said Free Play with no balls racked on the table, so naturally we started to play a game. After playing an ENTIRE GAME, down to the black ball, the douche bag of an owner comes up from behind me and says "Hey, you know that's my table?" And me, not knowing who he is at all just laughed it off to diffuse the situation and he goes, "No, I'm serious, you have to move tables now." Again, I laugh it off as this dude looked coked out of his mind and I didn't want to escalate. So we finish the game on a scratch, all the while the owner is looming over us, waiting for "his table" and he finally says "Yeah I'm not trying to be a dick BUT I'm the owner so yeah you gotta move now...probably would have beat you in a game anyways" and I'm just there like ??? YOU'RE THE OWNER? Wow. You sure know how to treat the people who pay your salary. If the owner would have just said "Hey man, I paid for that table but decided to stand outside and drink for a while....my bad, you guys can keep playing" or even "Hey that was my table but I'm the owner and it's only $1 to play so have it on the house" I wouldn't have felt like an outsider who didn't belong there but instead he tries to control the situation with aggressive body language and snide comments. We enjoy the fact that the kitchen is open until midnight , food is good and drinks reasonable, the bartenders are nice and willing to accommodate. Please guy fix the warm area around the bar. The only thing is it might be a little warm inside but after a drink or two you don't notice it. We are locals and enjoy this place so far.
