We reserved the studio for a photo shoot and we were all surprised to see how cool Maginhawa Street was. It was my first time there and I must admit that I found the place really cool. We rented the place for four (4) hours with a rate of 600 php per hour. The studio was just the right size for everyone to move around. The wide space was really good and both the model and photographer were comfortable with the set. We didn't have problems with anything and the whole shoot went by smoothly. I recommend Camera Cart to anyone looking for a good place to have a photo shoot. It's the perfect place!

A human tech booth with camera, laptop and printer for weapons? The gadgets may not be Avengers-worthy but I have to admit the idea is cool! Like a superhero indeed, Photoman will save your guests a trip to the photo booth. Now, your guests can pose all they want without having to stand up and leave their food. And, they will all get their pictures instantly because Photoman has a sidekick who is tasked to control the laptop and printer. Pictures have borders or backgrounds as in the traditional photo booth and may pass off as wedding favors for the guests. Also, if you are trying to save money, you can scrap the high-end photographer for your reception and let Photoman take over instead. The most expensive package is unlimited number of shots and prints for four hours at PhP 10,000. Not bad, especially if you plan to make him your sole photographer. And, if you are worried about not getting all the photos, worry no more; Photoman saves the day and promises to turn over all pictures taken to the client in a CD.

A helpful staff is on-call to assist in moving around the heavy gear and to answer any sort of question when it comes to lighting techniques. As I mentioned earlier, the space has two studios - one studio is smaller, perfect for portraiture and editorial shoots. He gave a talk when I was still a student in UA&P and I was really impressed with all his works and accomplishments. He is a very inspiring person and he really loves what he does. He loves to capture the greatest stories and moments in a wedding through his camera. I have seen a number of his works and they are like short movies that should be played on the big screens. He is a master of his craft. He captures everything at the right moment and he really shows how great that wedding day was. He even makes pre-wedding videos that are really cool! He can capture the personality of the couple really well. Not only does edit these videos in an awesome way, but he also makes concepts that are really romantic, interesting, happy, or even crazy (in a cute way). I personally think he's a genius! Being located along Reposo (wow, how old am I and why am I calling it Reposo?), parking was quite a challenge. It's wonderful that they have valet services, so I made it on time. I could say that the venue is quite nice, despite the low ceiling at certain parts. There's also a small private room that could be used as holding area, but that day was used by no one else but me. I was told that the small room can be rented on it's own for meetings and small gatherings. All in all, it was a good party and the guests enjoyed themselves singing along to Side A and dancing to the beats of the DJ that carried on after. As for me, well, I'm just happy I was able to again take photographs and capture memories.

It's literally a "garahe"--an outdoor garage that's filled with art and curious things. They, as well as their friends, host music gatherings and gigs here. Aside from an events space, they primarily offer rental services for music equipment for events. I HIGHLY recommend their music equipment rental as they do have a complete set of equipment at good rates. They also offer music classes (drums, guitar, voice, keyboard, etc.) for people of all ages, even music-appreciation for babies! Inside Garaeh is an electronics repair shop as well. What else? Occasionally they also do sell vegetarian mock-meat via their small project 'Ngitian Kitchen'. Their mock meat liempo is really, really good. Events aren't regular, as well as the classes or the veggie food, and you can't just barge into this place unannounced. It's best to stalk them online to see if something's up or if there's a gig to catch. If there is, do drop by as you're in for a unique and interesting treat.
