Vegetarian buffet for only $5/per person
    John C.

I came mostly for the food, my buddy's parents are visiting from India and wanted to go to the temple. So we loaded up the car and drove down. Wasn't very busy, lots of friendly people all around. We all did the buffet and it was quite good. I especially loved the squash/pumpkin mushed together it had so much flavor. The quinoa and spinach was also a hit. For only $5/per head it was a steal. I even got my palm read for $10 bucks. It was fun, although very inaccurate don't have 3 kids and haven't been married 3 times. :-) Can't wait to go back to eat again, in the summer and early fall they grow all their own veggies in the garden next door. Would love to try that next year and see if things are different.

How can I not give this place 5 stars? I was a little hesitant on making the trek out to the temple, would I be able to take pictures? Will I be intruding ? What all is entailed with this exploration ? Let me tell you that I was not prepared for how beautiful the temple is in person. You think that your ready for it after looking over Instagram photos but you really are not. In person the architecture takes your breath away so this is definitely a photographers dream location. Inside, their is a gift shop, a friendly parrot and a vegetarian Indian buffet. The actual temple portion is upstairs and you will need to take your shoes off so wear your uggs or some other slip on shoe. Outside is a llama farm. That's right, a freaking Llama farm! There is just no way you can have a bad day when your looking at Derpy Llamas. In addition to the Llamas is a whole flock of Peacocks. I highly recommend taking your significant other out for a day of spiritual enlightenment and Llama petting.

Very cool place to visit and has a buffet to boot! It's a small buffet, but still has lots of options. The food is vegan and very good. I would have liked labels on the buffet as I can never remember what any of the dishes are called. I ate a little of everything enjoyed every bite!

The Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple is a beautiful building located in rural Spanish Fork, Utah. The temple is home to many events including Holi (Festival of Colors) in March and Diwali (Festival of Lights) in October. They offer a lecture and dinner every Sunday, yoga classes through the week, and daily tours for the curious visitor. On your first visit you will likely be very surprised that a Hindu temple would be in Utah. But it is indeed here and is very popular with the locals. In fact the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints even helped pay for some of the temple's construction. Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple is well worth visiting, especially during one of its popular annual festivals. Make sure to arrive early through as festivals tend to be very busy and parking can be tough.

I gave it five stars, mainly because they have a location in Salt Lake City is well that didn't look half as awesome as this one did. I found the area to be beautiful there up on a hill overlooking a valley. I personally have never been to a Temple of this kind in the United States. However, that being said I found this one to be beautiful inside and out. They're open to the public they have tons of animals, lots of educational opportunities for families. Of course there's no pressure to join their church in anyway shape or form. I hear they do a really awesome color festival in September. If you're interested at all in Indian culture it is probably a really great place to start. I hope you like my photos and I hope that you give them a chance because it was really great experience. Remember tons of animals for the children to feed and see.

This is a very small Krishna Temple on the outskirts of the small community of Spanish Fork. We were the only guests at the time, but the young woman who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. She instructed us to leave our shoes at the door, answered our few questions and told us there was no one there to give us a tour. This was disappointing, but she told us we could go up the stairs into the temple room by ourselves. She then disappeared back into the kitchen where delicious smells were emanating from. Upstairs, we found ourselves in a small but welcoming worship room. Not being of the Krishna faith we aren't familiar with the gods or meanings, but it was interesting nonetheless. There's a small gift shop area if you're inclined to buy something from India. We bought our granddaughter a colorful tunic for a reasonable price and three handmade knitted finger puppets. Outside several peacock birds can be seen wondering around but the animal cages were empty of any occupants. Down the hill in the field there are several Lamas grazing who appear very curious of anyone who walks by. If you plan on visiting this Temple in an RV or towing a trailer, I wouldn't recommend driving either down the small road that leads to the Temple or up the Temple driveway as there's the danger of becoming stuck, plus there's no place to turn around. We parked our RV down the hill by the Lama field and walked the short distance up to the Temple. We visited on Feb 5th, 2018.

Attended the Holi Festival, the festival of colors and had an amazing time. If you have not attended, this is a must. Wear some clothes that can get stained, stay hydrated and plan on dancing... You will have a blast. This is a very fun annual event, low cost, and fun for everyone. Buy some colors, hug often, and have fun. The temple is beautiful, though tough to really see and appreciate with 20K people running around. Will have to come sometime just to see the temple. I Heard this is the largest one in the country, 50K+ people attend over the 2 days. Lots of music, lots of love, and a lot of fun for all.

    Holi festival!

What a neat place to visit! The peacocks cawing in the yard, the architecture was stunning, and it was peaceful. Would definitely come back.

I stumbled across Utah Valley Llamas by accident on a Utah tourist website. I am so glad I did!!!!…read moreLet me tell you everything you need to now about Utah Valley Llamas: The farm is located on the grounds of the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Hindu temple. As we were waiting for our tour of the llama farm to start, we got a free tour of the temple. It was cool to learn basics of the Hindu religion, and it gave us base information for some of the animals we were about to see on the farm tour! Vai, referred to as the "llama mama," was awesome! She is an older lady who is very blunt but full of love for her religion and her animals. I am not Hindu, but it was very refreshing to see someone care so much about religion. Vai showed us her fancy birds, fish, llamas, and sacred cows. She was full of knowledge and allowed us to take a hands-on approach to learning about the animals. She even cracked a joke: When I read that mama llamas hum to their babies, she said, "Do you know why they hum?" ..... "Because they don't know the words." It was so funny, and she delivered it perfectly, with a straight face. I'll admit, I was very scared to get close to the llamas. They're pretty big, and they come really close to you when they know you have food. They were all so gentle and calm, though, and they didn't spit at all! Vai told us that they only spit on other llamas or when they feel threatened. Feeding the llamas out of my hands was terrifying, but it became less scary as time went on. Llamas only have bottom teeth, so their top lips rubbed against my hands as I fed them. We forgot to bring sliced apples and baby carrots, so make sure you do that! After the llamas, Vai showed us the sacred cows. They are tiny and cute. We got to feed them, too, and they were much grosser than the llamas when they ate. Their tongues were huge, and they made your hands disgusting after. It was gross, but TOTALLY worth the experience! I just washed my hands after. (: We had such a cool, unique experience at Utah Valley Llama. It was amazing to be so close to all the llamas and learn about them, and it was awesome to learn more about the Hindu religion in relation to their animals and eating habits. If you're in Utah, definitely take a tour of the llama farm! It will not disappoint!
