Thanks again! ---- Original Post---- As a homeowner, my husband and I have shopped in both Lowe's and Home Depot for over 20 years. We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.

Long enough not to take any bullshit from people, but still very nice. He always gives you an apple. He has nice pies and baked goods, and fresh fruit and veggies. This is what shopping used to be. Super markets used to be markets, and markets used to be fruit stands and that's what this is. Perhaps there is no place for a fruit stand in our world anymore. This antiquated idea of commerce (doesn't even take charge cards!!!) won't last in the age of facebook and for that reason is worth supporting. It's worth seeing and being a part of. His cash register is older than you are. He's been making his own way since time began by selling things that are good for you, made by farms, bakers and craftsman from up the road. There is integrity and honor in that.
