ShutterBooth EXCEEDED expectations! I've never seen a photobooth like ShutterBooth and would highly recommend them. Everybody at our wedding LOVED the photobooth and we received several compliments on it. Guests were literally lined up the whole night wanting to take pictures. They also had amazing props and besides taking pictures, guests could even record gifs! This was very unique. Every guest received a print and received a digital copy. After the wedding, we also received the digital copies of the pictures, which was a great touch. Leading up to the wedding ShutterBooth was very easy to work with. We added a boxwood wall and a custom neon sign for the backdrop and they were very accommodating and helpful when we had questions on the neon sign (since we purchased that separately.) They helped us in recommending the correct size and what they needed to hang the sign on the boxwood. The day of the wedding, the setup was great and the neon sign looked amazing! Ahead of time we also chose what size prints we wanted and they designed a custom logo to put on the printed photos. We got to choose what kind of custom logo we wanted! We also received several compliments on the size of the prints. We had a 4x6 with 3 images on the print, which you don't see often at weddings. This was very unique and people really liked how the images were printed larger then your typical strip. It was also very high quality and classy. One of the things that we loved most though was the amazing photobook we received after the wedding with everyone's message. We had a ShutterBooth attendant at the photobooth and every print also went into a photobook and the guests wrote a message next to their photo. This was something that came in our package so it was a bonus, but I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as we have! The photo guest book was such a nice addition to the wedding. It has been so special to go through the book and read everyone's message. The ShutterBooth attendant was also very diligent to put all of the prints in the book and encourage everyone to write a message. The whole photobook was filled! Even one of my bridesmaids commented on what a great job they did. Overall, ShutterBooth is not your typical photobooth company. They exceed expectations on all levels. Wedding Review. We recently used ShutterBooth-Chicago for our wedding after they were recommended through our venue The Walden Chicago. We could not be happier with our decision! From our initial consultation with the owner Kelly (who was willing to chat on the phone to answer any and all of our questions!) to the digital prints we received the week after our event, everything was perfect. We wanted a simple photo booth option and ShutterBooth provided just that with their open air free standing booth with digital and tangible prints package. ShutterBooth's prices were far more affordable then other companies that we had reached out to and their staff's communication prior to our wedding was impeccable. They also were extremely collaborative and allowed us to design our own logo for the prints and bring our own photo booth props. I was a very happy bride but a grumpy, reluctant wedding planner and Kelly at Shutterbooth made everything so damn easy I was actually a little surprised. Yes, their quote was higher than a few other places I contacted but given what was included and THE COMMUNICATION it was probably the best extra $100 I spent. My wedding venue was in a very old building with awkward access and strict rules about flash photography. I wanted to use the enclosed booth to honor the venue's wishes but was concerned about getting it inside. They went out of their way to make sure the setup was possible. And the photos! I've participated in a lot of event photo booth pics because I drink and make fun choices. Most of the time the photos are mediocre because the equipment is mediocre but Kelly told me they were an all Canon shop and you can absolutely tell in the pictures. If we put two people or crammed twelve people in that enclosed booth it didn't matter. Everyone was lit properly and every single photo was sharp focused adorable party chaos. I ultimately decided to NOT HIRE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER because it's such an enormous expense for what is usually very mediocre work. Why spend $3000 on some weekend warrior with a fancy camera who has no actual artistic ability? I wanted real moments. Between my friends with iPhones and Shutterbooth giving me everything I wanted and more, I literally have my dream wedding album for a fraction of the typical cost. If you're going to hire a photo booth of some sort, don't cheap out. These guys are amazing and they should probably hire me as a spokesperson or something. read more

Yes, I was snatched into the booth for a quick shot, but I more dealt with them on the back end/party planning side of things. From start to finish, Cheryl is a portable photobooth wizard. Friendly, prompt, creative, comfortable...awesome. It's the type of vendor you want on your side at a shindig. Weddings, events, whatever...people LOVE photobooths. It's the perfect little, pocket-sized momento from a party, too :) They set up quickly, and clean up quickly. They work with the party to make it fun. Efficient. I like it. Photo strips. I LOVE it. The trick is to get close to the camera and to do something, anything . . .don't just stand there people, have some fun! And then presto- your time is done and within 15 seconds the pics come out and you are laughing with your friends at your antics. Great, patient staff for we "repeat offenders". In addition to being super warm, friendly, and kind, here are a few things that made them stand out: - Flexibility and options: There were lots of ways to customize the perfect package for my husband and me. For example, there were several options for picture layout (strips vs. 4x6), backdrop design, props, logos...so much more than we could have imagined. We really appreciated the flexibility and choice! - Professionalism: Communication was always very clear and prompt/timely. Organization/planning beforehand AND execution on the big day were perfect! We also appreciated that they double, if not triple checked, our request forms to make sure everything was to our specifications. Kelly was our go-to, so it was very helpful to have a solid, reliable point of contact for any needs. - Awesome props: We consider ourselves very picky about our photo booth props, and SBC nailed it!! We loved the different hats and the hook hand. In the end, we didn't have time to make custom props, but SBC was also very flexible about us bringing in our own props if we wished. - Custom logo: Andrea, the designer, created a custom logo for us that we loved! Just. WOW. We were so impressed by how it was put together by our guests -- under the guidance of Kelly and Maria -- and it was awesome that we could customize the colors of the paper AND even the pen color for our guests to sign! - Details: SBC just really nailed the details, from the color pens we wanted for people to sign the guest book, to which entrusted person we wanted the guestbook handed to after the event was done. This level of detail was SO thoughtful, and organized so well in advance that my husband and I didn't have to worry about it at all on our big day! Pricewise, after looking at 2-3 other photo booth companies, we found ShutterBooth to be very reasonably priced relative to its competitors. However, what really stood out to me was the value.
