This Currys PC World is one of the few stores left located in a centre of a large city, with many…read moreof the chain's stores now being situated in out of town retail parks, huge "warehouse" type stores, located on Oxford Street and fairly close to Tottenham Court Road in central London, this is a decent and modern store which also incorporates Carphone Warehouse, another brand which is owned by Dixons' Carphone who also owns Currys PC World, combining these two brands in such a cool, central location is nice and it is rather uncommon for Currys PC World to do it outside of their warehouses again. The store inside is pretty modern, it had a nice selection of some cool, strong PC's and Apple devices, with some special offers which looked good. The staff might not have seen as welcoming or helpful as other stores, but I did find this to be the case at many stores in London, especially within a short walk from this store. More of a store guide to know what is in the store and perhaps a better selection of printers, especially on the ground floor would have been a nice bonus, as well as working on service too, but overall this is a cool, modern store and it's nice to see it on Oxford Street, London and it does warrant a solid three-star rating.

I was happy to see that this location has a sampling bar, and I was excited to try two of the holiday blends. It was busy when I visited, so I had to wait about 10 minutes or so to get a shot of espresso. The employees were very friendly, and seemed relieved that I was kind in return (seriously, they even have signs posted around that basically say "don't be a jerk to the workers here"). I don't know about you, but I'm never going to complain about getting a free shot of espresso! They don't have a lot of sweetener options, but they WILL give you a splash of milk or oatmilk in your coffee. I enjoyed my espresso shot and bought a couple of sleeves. They also had a nice display of all the newest Nespresso machines, which are always fun to browse. This is a nice place to stop in if you'd like to try a Nespresso coffee free of charge!

This is a smaller than average Ikea store obviously with its' location and is mainly a planning studio, where you make an appointment and the staff use their limited selection of products on offer here to help you design your room. The staff here didn't seem too friendly or helpful, and it, of course, lacked to the regular Ikea store, for example, it didn't have the infamous cafe which most larger warehouse stores have, one could argue whether it would even be needed at all with so many places to eat and drink just minutes away on foot, as it is central London after all. Some decent offerings but not a large selection, in a great central London location including late openings on Sunday's are the highlights of a store which is obviously poor for an Ikea but it isn't designed to be a large fully fledged store one would expect and picture when you hear the Ikea name, high expectations but in reality merely average. 2*

This store has…read morebeen around for a while even before the apple store in Regent Street so they were one of the main stockists of Mac's products. They really know their stuff. They sell all the up to date Apple Mac computers, Ipods, and accessories you could want, not to forget they also bought cameras from them. Although the store is not massive like the apple store, it looks funky and everything is brilliantly displayed inside. You can order what you want if you don't see it when you go in. The staff know their stuff which really helps compared to bigger stores where the staff are mainly students that are just trying to earn a bit of money and not necessary interested in what they are selling.
