Horrible service.!, made an order online and went to pick it up. Stood at the desk for about five minutes while people behind me were greeted and seated and not one person acknowledged me, they did see me as one man an older male pushed pass me to seat the person standing behind me. I ordered the burrito combo $10.98 . The rice and refried beans were really good. The burrito on the other hand was the smallest burrito I have ever seen in a Mexican restaurant. We hadn't been here in a couple of years (Covid). We stopped for lunch today and everything was as good as we remembered. Service, food, quality - all wonderful. My husband had the tongue street tacos which came with rice and pico and guacamole. I had chicken flautas. More food than we could eat. The restaurant was packed but our food came out promptly and not one server passed our table without asking if we needed anything. Forgot to take pictures. read more

Ricky continues to impress! I found this place a few years ago and with COVID have not been able to travel to the area in 18 months as most of us. Now traveling again, I could not wait to stop by for dinner. The atmosphere is festive and the staff energy is higher than ever. The grilled seafood platter was prepared perfectly and is a bit on the larger serving size so come hungry. Si Senor is delicious! The consistency of quality is appreciated. We have eaten at the restaurant 25+ times and have never experienced a problem. The wait staff are cordial and treat you as family. It's so popular in the evenings that you may have trouble parking. The restaurant is small and seating limited. If you have to wait--it's worth it! My favorite meal is pollo con arroz. Grilled chicken over a bed of rice covered in queso. It's hard to beat! The chips and salsa are always fresh. read more

We really enjoyed our meal , everything was delicious. The owner came and talked to us and ended up comping us the queso dip appetizer we had ordered. Street tacos were great, I sampled my brother in laws mole which was deep and very delicious. Everything seems to be scratch made and we can't wait to visit again next time we come down. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Top notch all the way. One more thing to add. It was my mother in law's birthday, the owner came with a guitar and played for her. I have been here three times. Every time the service has been bad. The last time it really stucked. After waiting for while I stopped a server and ask could someone take our order. she said this isnt my table but I will take it. others sitting around us was having the same problem. No one ever stopped at table again. No one came to see if we wanted more to drink. Three strikes you out. I will never go again I will drive to Houma or Thibodaux next time. read more

I guess I can start a blog, we got here at 11:30, it is now 12:25 and still no lunch. We have eaten two servings of chips and salsa and may run out of time and have to go back to work before we get our entrees. Some of the entrees got here at 12:30 the rest straggled in a few minutes later. If you are hungry don't order the tacos, a small chipmunk could probably eat it all. The carnitas are not bad, a little more seasoning would help. They should not put sliced hot dogs in the charro beans. Word has it the quesadilla was good but on the small side, enchiladas were reported to be very good. Bill came was wrong, tried to add another item that we didn't order I doubt it was intentional. The bill came with an 18% automatic tip because there were 6 of us. 18% for unacceptable service, wtf? Probably should pass on this place for a while. read more

To me, it's the best Tex-Mex around the area. Have eaten here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Oftentimes the owner would come out and shake customers hands. He's one that doesn't mind getting involved. One one occasion in particular, my father and I went eat there. They were rather busy and the waitress had just taken our order for beverages. The owner came to the table to shake our hands and ask what we wanted to drink. We told him the waitress had already taken our order. He said it didn't matter, he'd get it. He went and fixed our beverages and brought them to us. To me, that says a lot. When the owner sees their restaurant is busy and has no issues with jumping in and helping out. 1/4/19 my husband, daughter and I went eat lunch here. RIP OFF..! My daughter had a large nacho with only 5 chips, my husband got a festa large nacho with only 7 chips individually placed on plate, I ordered a side of guacamole and it was literally JUST a tablespoon, the salsa was warmed and tasted like tomato soup, and I had a just a tortilla with ground meat topped with cheese our BILL was 45.00..! I WOULD HAVE NOT EVEN GAVE ONE STAR BUT I HAD TO GIVE AT LEAST ONE TO WRITE REVIEW..! I truly hope & pray God allows this review to soften the heart of the owner to know that we were taking ADVANTAGE of ...! 45.00..?? for total of 12 nacho chips, spoon of guacamole and a plain meat tortilla and 3 sodas..!!!!! Every time we have been we have loved it! I introduced this to my husband and he will not go to another Mexican restaurant around. I also introduced this restaurant to my parents and they love it so much. The drinks are amazing especially the Cadillac margarita! It's the best tasting and smoothest margarita I've ever had.
