    Panang curry with rice
    Makaylah S.

We came in for the first time to dine in, but have been ordering take out for a long time from here. This is the best* thai spot in the area by far. Our family also all order from here when they're in town. Got our favorites, spring rolls (not pictured because we ate them too fast) summer roll, chicken pad thai, panang curry and rice, with thai tea. Everything is soo fresh -they are also very fast with getting your order out! We will be back!

Food is okay, we are from California and I think the Thai food there is maybe just different in color and in taste, not sure how but it is. I haven't found the perfect Thai place yet that I love. Thai places in VA are just different I think. We ordered the panang curry with shrimp and the red curry both were very different in texture and almost the same color.

Clean, pleasant service, delicious food. Very generous portions, especially for lunch! Took 1 star for bringing out our meals staggered over ten minutes. There were only three of us! Please serve parties at the same time - I'm sure most parties anticipate dining together.

Trying a new Thai restaurant can be scary sometimes, but you won't regret trying Siam Bistro! We ordered through Door Dash on a Saturday night-- which by the way, great service by Door Dash! We got 3 orders of spring rolls, 2 Pad Kee Maus, a Pad Thai, Crispy Duck entree and a Shrimp Pad Kraw Prow. We also all picked different "spicy" levels as they have mild, medium and spicy. We put "extra spicy" for most! After ordering, we wanted to make sure we got extra spicy oil on the side. A quick phone call to the restaurant got the job done! When everything arrived it was neatly packaged and everything was clearly marked. They even honored our special instructions! For one of the Pad Kee Maus we added broccoli, and the other we added mushrooms (no charge!). And we got lots of the spicy oil! The spring rolls were delicious and packed with flavor. The mushrooms were a surprise, but good none the less! The Pad Kee Maus and Pad Thai were pretty standard, but again, really good and a generous portions. The only complaint our party had was that the Crispy Duck Entree was a little too crispy. Sounds silly, but it was almost too crispy to eat-- but if you're into that kind of thing, you might like it! The sauce that comes on the side definitely helped get it down. I'd say this is a pretty solid option when you're craving Thai food!

We enjoyed our meals. They were appropriately portioned and the server was very prompt and friendly. The store front restaurant was pleasantly set up and comfortable. Prices were also very reasonable.

    Chicken Satay w/peanut sauce

I ordered online and pick-up was ready on time. The food quality was mostly good; recommend the Pad See Ew, Chicken Rama, and Chicken Satay (the peanut sauce is very good). Unfortunately, and surprisingly, the Pad Thai wasn't very good; it wasn't bad, but was nondescript & pretty bland, lacking any real flavor. The portion sizes were large (enough to share between 2 to 3 people).

    Yep. $1/shrimp.

This is our go-to spot for Thai food and the food is usually very good. No complaints there. The problem is with our last order. We paid $4 extra to add shrimp to the chicken Pad Thai and received 4 shrimp. Yup. That is $1/shrimp, as you can see in the photo. I know that the price of everything is rising, but I had to laugh when I looked it, because is is just ridiculous.

We eat here often; both in restaurant and carry out. Our favs are the sautéed veggies with garlic or with ginger.

The food is good, but it's expensive and very small portions so if you are a normal eater you might be disappointed.

I chose the Buffalo Chicken salad which was packed with fresh veggies - crunchy shredded carrots/celery/ roast cauliflower - excellent blue cheese, chicken and fried jalapeños to add the heat. My son opted for the Sesame Garlic stir fry- whole wheat noodles , steak, broccoli and a delicious sauce. We didn't try the desserts but they were very tempting. The manager, Chris was very welcoming and the staff friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Honeygrow!

I really enjoy the fresh noodles and the overall fast-casual concept. They also have salads and a nice variety of options depending on what you're in the mood for. My only downside is that a lot of the noodle sauces taste pretty similar to me. I've tried a variety of them over time, and while they're all decent, I haven't noticed a huge difference in flavor between many of the sauces. One thing I do really enjoy is the Honeybar dessert option. It's a nice addition to the meal, and the cheesecake filling is usually a solid choice. Sad to see the vanilla mousse is no longer available because that used to be one of my favorites. Overall, good food and a reliable spot if you want something quick and filling. Expect to spend around $25+ if you're getting noodles, a drink, and dessert.

If Chipotle had a soulful, culturally rich cousin... it would be Spice Black. Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.

Whatever seasoning they use is chef's kiss -- I selected garlic as a topping but I could tell there was more going on. The crab meat was warm and perfectly seasoned too. My only note: the 16oz eats more like a side salad than a main dish. For $13 it's competitive with a Sweetgreen or Cava, so next time I'm just sizing up to the 32oz. Service : 8/10 -- The young lady at the register was pleasant and made sure my order was complete. I did wait an extra 5-8 minutes past my 5:55 pickup time, but nothing major. Ambiance : 9/10 -- Not your average salad spot. The vibe is cozy -- think relaxed bar & lounge on a smaller scale. Love that the menu item names are fun and creative, though the menu itself feels a little busy and could be simplified. I'd love to see Kenny Kale franchised on a larger scale someday. Overall: 9/10 -- Kenny Kale is killing it and is def a keeper on my list I found this place and ordered the same day -- that's how excited I was. I'm genuinely thrilled to have a unique, healthy restaurant in the area that isn't another Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie, or..... fried chicken spot that keep getting placed in Black communities instead of diverse, health-forward choices.
