This wonderful restaurant has become the "go to" place for both myself and other locals. I was thrilled when a Thai restaurant opened in our community. I just love their food I've eaten a variety of dishes there although my favorite is probably pineapple rice. The food is very fresh and presented well with a nice size portion. The staff goes out of their way to please. We love sitting outside in the warmer weather, however dining inside is really nice also. I love being able to sit by a window and watch the stream as it goes by. The restaurant is situated on an off-road in a very quiet, peaceful spot. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. My favorite times to go are Monday through Friday when they have the lunch specials which includes an appetizer, soup, and entree all for $12.95. there aré so many options to choose from and I always end up bringing home some for dinner. Most recently they have started to serve Sushi. Now having lived in New York City for many many years before moving up here to Maine I was very spoiled and had all the best Japanese restaurants at my disposal. That said I'm pretty particular about my Sushi. A friend of mine and I decided to go today and try the sushi we were so excited that we could get it in our own town finally. I was a little concerned because I have been the victim of sushi that is not fresh, and believe me,l you do not want the consequence of eating sushi that is not. Wow, I was totally thrown away by not only the freshness of the sushi but the presentation as well. My friend and I ordered a sampler platter with all kinds of different sushi. It was fabulous I can't rave about it enough. I felt like I was eating in a five-star restaurant..I don't know what took them so long to get going with the sushi but they have a definite winner there. I have been a regular customer since they opened however I'm sure I will be frequenting their restaurant even more often now that they have expanded their menu. I'm very health conscious and I eat healthy food. Siam Sky is by far my favorite Thai. restaurant. One reviewer said they thought there was too much sugar in the food which really surprised me. I've never had I need to serve me that had too much sugar or salt for that matter. Plus all those fresh spices they use are so wonderful. They are also nice about customizing your order depending upon any dietary needs. I forgot to mention they also do takeout orders which is really lhelpful during this time. read more

Excellent dinner. Very fresh large vegetables in my cashew chicken and my husband's spicy seafood noodle dish had tons of seafood in it for $16.50. 2 dinners, 1 beer and 1 tea $39 something. We very much enjoyed our dinner sitting at the window next to the flowing stream through town. read more

Glad to see a Thai restaurant in Blue Hill. Food was really good, a tad pricy but really good. What needs improvement is attention to detail, both around their service & things in the restaurant. 1) I was half way through my meal, after having been told the waitress would bring my rice "right out", when I finally went to ask where it was. 2) Even after forgetting my rice the waitress didn't check back to see how I was doing. 3) The check was brought to me without me being asked if I wanted dessert. 4) When I first arrived the "Open" sign in the side window was not turned on & the sign in the front door said they were closed. 5) Finally, as I went towards my table (in a small side room with several stairs down to it) I found two car toys on the floor. Obviously a tripping hazard & appeared to a staff members children. Hopefully the things I mention can be fixed with attention to detail. I will return to see if they have improved. read more

Amazing food! So excited to have authentic Thai cuisine in downtown Blue Hill. The owners are so sweet - I might be biased since it's in the town I now reside in- however being from NYC (moved here almost 1 year ago) I can honestly say that the food + ingredients blew me away and surpass most Thai restaurants in Manhattan. Need to keep this place around indefinitely. Please stop in + support local business- it's sooo worth it!!! read more

Food was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, our waitress was less than impressive. She took about 10-15 minutes to initially take our order, never checked on us for drink refills or if we needed anything and brought us our check before asking about dessert. As we were leaving, we witnessed her telling another employee that a customer was a liar, it was very unprofessional. We loved the food, the service left less than to be desired. The first time that I go to a new ice cream place I always get the vanilla because you need to develop a core competence in vanilla before you can make other great ice cream. In the case of Thai restaurants, the vanilla equivalent is pad Thai. On our very first visit to Siam Sky yesterday for lunch we both ordered the pad Thai and were very favorably impressed. This place is fantastic!!! I've never had fresh rolls this good - the rice paper is very thin and the rolls were made with gorgeous fresh ingredients. Plus the peanut sauce - OMG!!! Also had the green curry and salmon choo chee - both were amazing. Such a welcome addition to the area! read more

I am very happy to have Thai cuisine as an option in the area now. This is a very charming little restaurant with a bright, airy and clean interior. The seating area is cozy with hightop and low regular table options and I thought the table in the sunroom was really cool. When we were there it was a few nights before Halloween and to our surprise it is was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. This was strange but I did not mind because it was, well, festive. We got the appetizer sampler which was a nice variety of fried things, the crab rangoon and fried shrimp was very very good. I also really liked the curry sauce on the beef satay. I got drunken noodles as an entree which was a bit on the sweet side and the noodles were overcooked and broken up a bit but it was still tasty. My partner got the chicken larb, which is a salad, and his only complaint was that there could have been more cucumber, and cilantro, and thinner onion slices, but he said the chicken was good. Prices are a little high for us to go often, so it is more of a treat for us. The staff was very attentive and friendly and they offer some sweet little details like recyclable togo containers/bags, coupons, and chocolate, This was overall a nice experience. such a good find in blue hill!! i went today for lunch and was a little worried not knowing if i like thai food. i am so happy i decided to go!! the thai spicy noodles were amazing, and the perfect amount of heat. the lunch special for $12.50 is such a great deal! can't wait to go again! read more
