Our son's birthday and we actually had plans to go elsewhere but he yelped and found Siam. We are foodies and love Thai just like Laotian food. Got our name on the waitlist, it was about 45 minutes. Not bad. Patience got our tummy ready to chow down. Menu looked decent but as they were bringing out dishes, portion was phat and service was quick. Pad kee mao - I like how my noodles aren't sticking together and has the right amount of spice. Had it with chicken. I usually like it with pork but they don't make ground pork, they have pork belly instead. Pad see ew - It's like your dry chow fun, daughter had it with fried pork belly. It was an interesting flavor. Parang curry - The boys ordered that and love the coconutty broth, reminds me sometimes of Singapore laksa. Khao soi - son in law had this noodle curry broth. He loves noodle soup and im telling you they are very generous. Chicken larb - You can taste the ‍. It was indescribable. Papaya salad - bae requested the spice level to the highest they got. Good lawd that was . Thai papaya salad is different than Laos papaya salad, there isn't any fermented taste to it neither do they use kefir leaves. If you know, you know! It was FA bomb though, the level of spice and Singha beer was ooomph sooooo good. Got my lips look like they got some filler for days. Fried tofu appetizer and sticky mango rice to top our night off. Presentation and quality of the food was excellent. Think this will be our "go to" if we craving Thai. I am happy that they decided to post up here in the plaza because around you, have mostly Chinese cuisine. I enjoy their table seating with the wood benches. Very communal

Finally decided to try this location. So glad that they opened one closer to my house. I like the food, but Cupertino is kinda far. To me they have some of the best Pad Thai. The flavor is great, and the portions are big. The parking is better, but the lines to get in are still long. Service is quick, they give you a couple of minutes after seating, then take your order. Food comes out soon after. I'm trying to eat more vegetables and less starch. So I ordered something different today We got the broccoli and beef, and house fried rice. The beef today was a little chewy. I've had it at the other location and it tasted better

This is the best thai place I've found so far in the bay. I am normally not an order fried rice person at the restaurant, but this place has really excellent wok hei in their fried rice. Their portions are decently sized so I recommend doing family style to not get tired of one flavor and try multiple things. So far I've tried the pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and crab fried rice and they were all good. I would highly recommend the egg rolls for appetizer. Their tap water is nasty though. Not sure if it's the water or the metal cups or the combination. Either get a drink or bring a water bottle. Parking lot but serves the entire plaza. If you're coming at peak meal times, come early because you potentially will be circling to find a spot. The restaurant also quickly fills up and has a long waiting list for dinners and even weekday lunches as well, so come on the earlier side of mealtimes. The restaurant also gets pretty loud so honestly not the greatest place to have extended conversation

Siam Station has another location in Cupertino, but they both serve solid Thai food. They give you a free drink for every lunch entree during the weekday which really completes the meal. Service is a little lackluster, but it could be due to being short staffed. The store itself is clean. Some tables seemed to be placed closer to other diners than others. With a variety of thai food to choose from, the restaurant offers something for everyone. The pad thai was more on the saucier side. Noodle texture was bouncy and not soggy. I see myself coming back to try other dishes. In my opinion, the lunch special with the drink really completes the meal.

I've heard good things about Siam Station in Cupertino, now they have one in Milpitas and I got a chance to try them out during lunch. We got the last table of this packed restaurant. Parking is always horrible in this plaza during peak lunch hours as there are so many tech companies in the area. Plan accordingly otherwise there will be a long wait. The ambience is modern, with simplistic decor. It had a vibrant atmosphere. Two unisex restrooms only. The service was friendly and efficient. Though, the kitchen was backed up and took a while for our food to come out one by one. :( My coworkers ordered the... Chicken Satay (4): Grilled chicken skewers served with house peanut sauce. Thai Eggplant Basil: Holy basil combination of stir fried chilies, garlic, bell peppers, onions, fried eggplant and a choice of protein (Tofu). One of his favorite Thai dishes and this did not disappoint. The flavors were all there in this dish (No pic). I ordered the Pad Thai: Stir fried thin rice noodles with egg, bean sprout, green onions and a choice of protein (chicken), topped with peanuts. They have the option to make it as spicy as you like. I went with mild. The white breast chicken was svelted well; juicy, tender and not dry. The sauce on the noodles was saucy, but I, personally like it that way. Thai Tea and Thai Coffee were the standard great tasting drinks you would expect. I love the free drink with any entree before 4Pm I'm definitely adding this to my places to eat! I look forward to trying their other dishes too! Come support your local business.

Solid Thai place with fair pricing and generous portions. I'm adding it to my restaurant rotation. Don't get the crispy pork. A nice Thai restaurant is having its soft opening, and it's very promising so far: affordable Thai dishes at reasonable prices in Milpitas could be a recipe for success. I mean, have you seen crab fried rice for $18? On one hand, it's enormous (two meals for $18!) and the omelette has enough crab to add that nice buttery flavor, but on the other hand the actual fried rice has ... just enough crab (...it's $18). The pad kee mao is rich and flavorful, and a bit on the greasier side, but the noodles are tasty and the peppers are light and crunchy. The crispy pork was, for lack of a better term, brittle, so I'd definitely want to try a different meat option next time. During the soft opening, going in for a weekday lunch gets you a free beverage, which is a nice bonus (though you have many options for drinks in this plaza). The Thai iced tea is a classic and not overly sweet. The chicken satay (4 for $11) is good too, though I felt that the chicken was on the tougher side.

This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant up to date. This place feels modern with a young and high energy team from both ends of the restaurant. There's lots of people dining in and having a great time. It can get pretty loud in here but that's the type of atmosphere. The menu has most of the main Thai dishes: Curry's, noodle dishes, rice plates, appetizers and dessert. The prices are fairly priced, portions are big, and flavors from the dishes are all there. We enjoyed their fried tofu which is about 12 pieces of freshly deep fried tofu crushed peanuts and a sweet chili oil for dipping. Their crab fried rice is huge with a big slab of egg omelette mixed with real crab meat. I loved putting fish sauce and diced jalapeños on the rice for additional flavor. We loved their pad see ew as well! This was a show stopper with its sweet and savory save, generous amount of chicken meat and Chinese broccoli. This is our favorite Pad See Ew so far. The Khao Soo was pretty good but we didn't really care for it. It was mainly a curry sauce with noodles which is decent and full of flavor but I think we prefer the curry separate with rice. For dessert, I highly recommend ordering their sweet crispy roti which is about 6 pieces of fried roti and sweet condensed milk drizzle. It's almost like a fresh hot donut with sugar glaze. It's one of the most unique desserts I've had in a long time. It's so worth it. We loved their pad Siam Station and can't wait to come back! The cooks in the back are all having fun and they're full of energy. They deserve a lot of credit for their skills and great cooking. It hits different when the cooking staff are Hispanic; the food is more seasoned and bold. It's the best!

Tried out Siam Station for weekend lunch and they were pretty full (90%ish capacity at all times) but no wait to be seated! Got their mango sticky rice and pad see ew - both were flavorful and pretty good, with an authentic Thai taste to it. Food came out very quickly. Service was quick and attentive. Nice and spacious ambiance inside. Only note is that the table I was seated at was right under the AC, so it was blasting on me the entire time making it cold. Overall great place and would be interested to try their other menu items.

DoorDash order from this new place in Milpitas, apparently the second store, the first one is in Cupertino. Ordered the popular Pad Thai, with additional crispy pork and not spicy. I did not know what crispy pork is until I tried it. Not bad but too crispy for me. Lol....I prefer slices of stir fry pork. The first protein I chose was beef, they were cut in small chunks, not the slices or strips I was expecting. The sauce that coated the noodle was even and had a good taste, I wish it was slightly deeper in flavor and tangy, but maybe because it was not spicy, so it lacked that depth. We ordered at 11:30 and food came at 12:30. Overall the Thai spicy seemed really spicy from what I heard. The other not so commonly seen dish is Khao Soi, I might give that a try next time.

TL;DR: Food itself is absolutely delicious, but service, cleanliness, and ambiance can be improved. Came here for lunch with a party of 5. It's already so busy and there was a wait. We ordered family style: Pad kee mao - tasty wok char and noodle texture Green curry with crispy pork - one of the best dishes. Highly recommend the crispy pork as your protein option. Tom kha with shrimp - wished that there was more shrimp but the soup itself was delicious and perfect. Papaya salad - standard, didn't enjoy the green beans but it was otherwise crisp and refreshing. Khao soi - loved the contrasting textures. Panang curry - yummmmm. A bit salty but still delicious. When we were seated, the remnants of the previous diners' meal were everywhere on the floor and under the table. We have children and toddlers ourselves and so we understand that kids are messy, but we would hope that they would at least sweep. We had to ask to get the floor cleaned, there were so many squishy noodles and yogurt drops on the floor. The bathrooms were also pretty gross; probably helpful to do hourly bathroom checks because an unclean restaurant kills appetites, which is a shame considering how good the food was.

(Milpitas) Food: *Khao Soi, Chicken, Mild spice (9.2/10)-Egg noodles with in a thick yellow protein curry broth, topped with fried noodles. Definitely my favorite. Flavor was spot on with mild spice. Egg noodles were cooked perfectly and the fried noodles added a nice texture. *Orange Chicken(8.9/10)-Classic battered chicken stir fried in house orange sauce topped with sesame seeds. Almost cooked well. I really appreciate that it was slightly battered so you eat more of the chicken. Would have been nice if there were more sauce. Overall delicious. *Pad Thai, Chicken, Mild spice (8.5/10)-Stir fried thin rice noodles with egg, bean sprout, green onions and a choice of protein, topped with peanuts. The flavor itself was a bit mild wish it had more. The noodles like all the dishes were cooked well. *Pineapple Fried rice (8.5/10)- Thai style fried rice with pineapples, tomato, cashews, raisins, and fish cake topped with crispy wontons onions, green onion, curry powder, egg, chicken and shrimp. Rice was a bit basic lacking flavor. Could have added more pineapple to add some acidity. Protein portion is descent *Mango Sticky Rice (9/10)- mango was fresh and delicious. Rice was mildly sweet and tempered warm/hot which I enjoyed with the coconut cream. Ambience: indoor only with plenty of seats for a small venue. Be advice that the place gets busier the later in the day it gets Service: we got whatever miscellaneous item we requested at a reasonable time. Self serve water. We got all our meals all at the same time. Servers were kind. Price: price is very reasonable and the portions are large. Definitely had plenty of leftovers Parking: plenty of parking outside. It's also close to many dessert, restaurants, and grocery stores

Welcome Siam Station to the Milpitas square! This Milpitas plaza has gained a Thai gem and honestly, we're loving this diverse addition. The stars of the show were the Tom yum fried rice and Panang curry. The flavor can't be beat and I appreciated how they brought extra chili on the side when requested. Honestly, all four dishes were a hit with us including the papaya salad and tom yup soup. My favorite part was that the serving size was extremely generous. Soft opening started May 5th with a free drink during lunch hours. Prices were extremely reasonable with the whole bill coming out to ~$70-80 with 3 entrees and appetizer. The only con I would have is that service can be a little more thoughtful like providing serving spoons, bowls for soups, napkins for family style. Service was average, neither exceptional nor poor. All in all, I'm making this my new go-to Thai spot. Excited to come back to it

    chicken satay
    Katie T.

Just as good as the Cupertino location! The portions are generous and the flavors were great. I'd recommend the chicken satay as a high protein, low carb app option! The veggie egg rolls were pretty standard. I'd never had Thai lemon tea but it was quite good! It's a nice balance of sweetness and tartness which is mellowed out by the tea itself. I had enough curry to take home a full container after so they don't skimp out on their entrees. Service is attentive and really fast but do note, they only do walk-ins and there's often a wait, even for weekday nights. It can also get pretty loud so it got kind of hard to hear but overall, would definitely recommend and will come back!!

Unfortunately, this most recent visit left a bad taste in our mouths- literally & figuratively!! Our party of 3 came here during the lunch rush and lucked out with being seated pretty quickly. Menus were provided but weren't needed because we essentially ordered the same exact dishes we did from our first visit. I kid you not, we were legitimately hooked! Order: Prawn Pad Thai x2 Green Curry [medium spice] w/ Chicken Thai Iced Tea Anchan Lemonade (Butterfly Pea Flower) The young gentleman took our order and repeated everything back. My sister requested to have our drinks brought out in take out cups as opposed to the glasses & our server said he could make it happen. We wait and wait and wait and wait. Food took a bit of time to come out but because our visit was in the peak of lunch rush, we expected that. What we didn't anticipate was such a long wait for our drinks. We wait and wait some more before speaking to 3 separate staff members confirming that our drinks were put in. Each and every time, the staff confirms the drinks were ordered and we were told they would be coming soon. Fast forward: Our food comes out and still no drinks. Mind you there aren't any alcoholic beverages or anything that should take too long to concoct. Again, we ask our initial server about the drinks @ this point, the young man remembers and immediately gets to working on the drinks. Drinks finally come out [not in take out cups] and while the Thai tea tasted good, my lemonade was far from that. This young man seemed new and I was trying really hard to be patient. I told him the drink was not right and he immediately takes the cup back to add some lemon. The drink now comes back with a lighter hue on top and yet it still tasted like trash. The server offered to remake it and while I thanked him, I requested that he just remove the drink completely from our tab. It was 100% clear that he didn't know how to make the infamous lemonade. Things continued to go downhill when we had to repeatedly request for the chili assortment. It took one too many pleas for that to even happen. The lady at the neighboring table got the sudden urge/craving for Thai tea once she noticed our cup. She places an order with the Asian lady with long hair and the lady happens to bring the drink to our table. We politely explain that the drink was not ours and she immediately gets defensive telling us that we had just placed the order with her. Her tone and all of the many hiccups that had already been going on set my sister off who responded firmly. She immediately corrected her [noting the drink was ordered through the adjacent table, not us]. I'm so sad this 2nd visit was so disastrous. I never would have imagined a 5 star review would drop within a matter of days! For a restaurant who regularly deals with long lines of patrons, the establishment seemed to resemble a chicken with its head cut off. The only person so did their job to a T was the chef's in the kitchen.

If you visit, there are three absolute must-tries: Massaman Curry: Hands down the best I've ever had. It is so rich and aromatic that I could gladly drink it plain, but it pairs beautifully with their coconut rice if you're getting it as an entree or roti as an appetizer. Thai Chicken Biryani: The chicken is incredibly tender and juicy. It's served over a butter fried rice packed with addictive aromatics. My only gripe is that I always find myself wanting more chicken! BBQ Chicken: To satisfy that extra chicken craving, we recently tried this dish. Marinated in oyster sauce and spices, it is tender, deeply flavorful, and an instant favorite. Beyond the mains, do not skip on the cream cheese avocado wonton appetizer. They are so much better than the standard cream cheese wontons you get elsewhere. I think they make the sweet and sour sauce in-house; it's so delicious we drink it straight from the dish once we've finished the wontons. In my opinion, I think it was just ok! A little overpriced for the amount of actual seafood in the dish (there were about 4 pieces of shrimp, small pieces of scallops and squid). I think the dish could've used a bit more flavor and maybe better quality seafood? Overall ok! ~overall~ Service was great, very quick and the staff were very friendly! Lot of seating indoors, so would a good spot for larger groups too! Plenty of parking in the plaza as well! Overall, pretty good, I may come back to try some of their other dishes since their menu seems quite big!

Malaysian food always hits the spot, and this place does it right. A large location (looks bigger…read moreon the inside than the outside), this is a good place for large group gatherings and smaller catchups alike. We came here as a group of four on a Saturday afternoon before a movie screening and every dish was pretty good, the standout being the bird's nest (nest is edible), fried tofu, and noodles. Next time I want to check out some of the desserts as well, but unfortunately we were too full to even fathom another bite. A good problem to have! Service is friendly and parking is abundant. This is located in a very popular strip mall with a ton of options, but I would recommend coming here for a taste of authentic Malaysian cuisine.

Whether you're sharing a bunch of dishes across the table or ordering your own go-to plate, this spot has always felt like a reliable place for a casual family meal. One of my usual starters is the papaya salad, which I'd give an 8/10. It has that fresh, bright flavor you want from a Thai salad, with a nice balance of crunch, tang, and spice. It's a good dish to have on the table to cut through the richer items, especially if you're ordering noodles or shrimp dishes. The Pad Thai is a strong 9/10 for me. It's one of those classic Thai dishes that's easy to judge because almost every Thai spot has it, and New Krungthai does it well. The noodles are flavorful, the sauce has a nice sweet and savory balance, and it's the type of dish that's easy to recommend if someone at the table wants something familiar but still satisfying. The standout for me is the garlic shrimp, which is a 10/10. This is the dish I'd definitely push people to try because it has that bold garlic flavor, a savory bite, and enough richness to make it feel like one of the main highlights of the meal. It's simple in the best way, but when garlic shrimp is done right, it doesn't need much else. The Thai coffee is also a 10/10 and a must-order for me. It's rich, sweet, strong, and exactly what I want at the end of a Thai meal. It has that dessert-like quality without being an actual dessert, and it's one of those drinks that makes the meal feel complete. The atmosphere definitely gives Thai vibes, which adds to the experience. It feels warm, traditional, and comfortable enough for a family outing without feeling too formal. The staff has also been very friendly, which makes a big difference when you're coming in with family and ordering multiple dishes to share. Overall, New Krungthai Restaurant is a solid San Jose Thai spot that works especially well for group meals and family outings. The papaya salad is fresh, the Pad Thai is dependable, the garlic shrimp is the standout, and the Thai coffee is a must. It's the kind of place I'd keep coming back to because it's familiar, friendly, and easy to enjoy with a group.

We ordered 2 Ribeye steak crying tiger medium rare for a large table. One side of the table loved it and said it was their favorite. The other side said it was rubbery and lacked flavor without the dipping sauce. The tom yum had a generous amount of shrimp and was perfectly sour. The Short rib mussamun wasn't a hit. No one went for a second bite. The red curry had a funky flavor. The sticky rice for the mango dessert was tough
