I've been to a couple of Tiger Sugar's in the past, but I never really found a drink on their menu…read morethat was perfect and not too sweet for me. But from what I ordered recently, I was pretty satisfied and finished up my drink quickly. I ordered the Earl Grey Milk Tea with boba, 25% sweetness and 25% ice. The sweetness level was exactly what I liked in a boba drink. The boba pearls were nice and chewy. I didn't realize that I could get 3 toppings for 99 cents altogether, so next time I would get pudding too. Last time I got the Mango Sago drink at another location and it was just too sweet for me. I should've known because I couldn't adjust the sweetness and drinks tend to be too sweet for me in general. However the Earl Grey Milk Tea was such a great option for me. My boyfriend got the Taro Pudding Milk Tea. It was delicious. He couldn't adjust the sweetness, but I didn't think it was too sweet to enjoy. The taro pudding was delicious. There wasn't much space to sit inside. There was a large group at a seated in the middle, but we managed to get a table to ourselves at the very end. Inside the shop, they only have three tables. Service was quick, wait time wasn't too bad. There is a bathroom inside but it ended up being out of service when we went. Overall, I liked my drink. The menu is pretty extensive and there's a bunch of options to choose from.

TLDR: I love their bubble tea but won't be coming back. Why bother having a storefront if you can't…read morestaff it properly and safely? Twice during the weekday lunch hour I've stopped by Tiger Sugar, stood at the counter and been completely ignored by the staff seated in the office. The first time I was solo, and came in on a Wednesday at around 1:15pm. I could see a man seated in the office looking at a computer as I stood at the counter. I'm short so I yelled "hello?" in case he couldn't see me. After a few minutes of doing this, I gave up because I had to go back to work. He never even looked up. The second time I came in with my spouse, who is tall. We could both plainly see a woman seated in the same spot at the desk computer. This was a Thursday at around 12:45. Again no acknowledgement, no way no notify her other than screaming over the front end music. Once again, limited time on a lunch break, we left empty handed. WTF x 2 to the business owner that there is no front entrance notification: 1) This store is downtown and the majority of your business is going to be office workers, probably around weekday lunchtime. A business owner might want to plan for that if their employees are also going to be taking their break at about this time. 2) If your solo-working employee can't hear people coming in the front entrance, even shouting from the counter, in a part of town with a high population of individuals who are under the influence and have unpredictable behavior, what does that say about safety at work? Is there not even a front door camera with a feed next to the computer monitor in the office? Those employees are sitting ducks. This place is a WCB nightmare waiting to happen! You've lost my business permanently Tiger Sugar.

The shop was full of people and the employees were working very quickly to fill all the orders. I ordered a regular Mango Colada. It was very tasty and the ingredients used were fresh and flavourful!

Great little bubble tea place located in a strip mall. I've been coming here for a few years now…read moreand overall am usually happy with my drink. They have a pretty extensive bubble tea and drink menu. My go to is the pineapple bubble tea with mango jelly. I've tried other flavours but they just did not do it for me. Depending on what you order prices can be either reasonable or expensive especially if you go for the speciality drinks. The staff is always very kind and friendly. This place can get quite busy at times and you may sometimes need to wait in line for a bit before placing your order. There are a few tables however, most people tend to just grab and go. They also have board games available if you wish to stick around with some friends and play some games. When it comes to food, they have a small menu of items however, they are all deep fried type snacks like calamari, wings, fries, tempura etc. After years of only getting drinks I decided to try the calamari ($7.50). It was alright, 7/10. It comes with a garlic aioli dip which I did enjoy. The calamari is not very big (comes in a 4 inch take out container) therefore, just enough if you're looking for a little snack. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy day as there are only a few stalls in front of the place, that saying, you can park in the strip mall lot and walk over.

Super disappointed in our takeout adventure here the other day…read more Usually once a month we grab take out somewhere in Leduc to bring 96 year old Great Grams on the farm. Our usually Vietnamese Spot was closed this past Sunday for renovations so hopped on Yelp and found PhoXpress located in the Walmart shopping complex. We ordered 3 bubble teas - all were bland despite being told they would have fresh fruit in them. All tasted watered down and at $5.99 each they aren't cheap. Meh, wouldn't order these again. Next up - no kiddo meal options here so I ordered #43 for them to share because the waitress told us that it was large enough for my 9 and 6 year old to share. Beef/Pork/Springroll on rice for $12.95. (It wasn't large at all - REALLY small actually. Like as in less than 2 scoops of rice. Split between their two small dinner plates, it literally didn't even fill a 1/3rd of their plate). I ordered the Beef satay pho #22 for hubs at $11.95. Super boring, super bland. A HUGE bag of beansprouts and maybe 3 basil leafs in total. The soup had a few chunks of tomatoes! Never seen that before in Beef Satay. The amount of meat probably came to 8 super small slices. I've never seen a Pho before with so little meat - really bizarre. And lastly, I ordered #20 Beef/Springroll on vermicelli to split with Great Grams. I also requested no green onions but as you can see from the picture, they were still on there. Grams and I both agreed that the spring roll was good but that's about it. The meat was chewy and again not that much. Over all - $60 for 2 entrees, 1 soup, and 3 bubble teas. We will not be back both on account of price, quality - lack of flavour - mediocre quality at best (well put by Yelper Simon T.), and small portions (easily less than 1/2 the meat I get at my regular spots). I'd honestly give it a 1 star but that's reserved for unicorns and the building itself was clean and spacious.
