Where the agent of the couple who bought our old house was a pit bull about making sure they were taken care of, we had Gary. We trusted, naively, that he would point out the areas in the contract and the process where we needed to pay close attention but...nope. I found every house we looked at and Gary showed up only to complain continuously about the boxes that had codes rather than opening with a scan. The icing on the cake was the home inspector he recommended. This guy found a faulty switch on the gas fireplace and a nail pop on the roof but didn't mention one thing about the 3 double tapped circuits! (He thought there was a double tap for the doorbell) Or the fact that the electric in the 'basement remodel'was totally not done to code. Bent nails holding the mess of wires and no inspection sticker should have been an indication... Bottom line, if your using Gary as your agent, BE VIGILANT!
