The water is shallow a long way out, and this beach is great for kids. It's usually packed in warm days, as both tourists, natives and the people owning the beach huts are there, but there's often plenty of room the further away from the hotels you get. There is a pier that you can jump from, and there's often a lot of young people there doing just that. This beach is one of the best in Halland, Sweden. It's not as packed as Tylösand outside of Halmstad, and closer to the city. It also has a lot of Ice Cream stands along the beach, as well as a few restaurants and a good miniature golf place. Also a lot of parking lots, but be sure to go away from the hotel to find one, or to be there earlier than you think is necessary. The best way is really to take the bike.

Here's why: 1) Space: It's a beach with views of the industrial part of Copenhagen. During non-summer seasons, its less crowded and a great place to dog walk or run. 2) Design: There are two areas with restrooms and shops open during the winter. They are cement blocks, but with brutalist design. There are several restaurants nearby if you want to make a day of it!

Even the employees of Den Gule Cottage said one day they showed up to work and the tower was gone. They believe that it's being restored but it's been missing for a while. So as an iconic look, Bellevue unfortunately looked like any other piece of coastline. However the calm water, beautiful weather, and the view of Sweden in the distance was quite fetching.
