I took his word that the Paninis were very good so I put my apprehensions aside. So glad I did because what i got was well worth the visit. Both my coworkers got the spicy salami Paninis. I decided to step it up and got the spicy salami, turkey and capicola panini with provolone. The bread is not the wimpy style bread you get in US places. This was a hearty crusty bread. I think I got more meat than the norm as the lady making my panini had a hard time adding the olives, dried tomatoes and red cherry peppers. I think she was frustrated with me but I understood here reason. I wanted the Dagwood of paninis and it was hard to make it the artsy panini she did for my coworkers. I was barely able to finish this Bohemian Panini. I was literally so full that I was unable to eat dinner that evening. I picked up the lunch and i paid less than 15 Euros for the Paninis and 3 drinks. What a great deal for the culinary experience we got to enjoy. I try to keep an open mind on travel to try the unique places and I am so glad this little gem I got to experience. They also have desserts, pizza and other lunch items available. Due to the size of the panini I didn't have the room to try any other items but based on the lunch crowd the massed while we were there I am guessing they are as good as the Paninis. Great place and fantastic prices. A hidden gem just down the road from NAS Sigonella.
