When you first walk in and see the giant giraffe, beautiful hand paintings on the wall and the train that goes on a track just above your head (that's our kids favorite part) you know you are in a very warm and welcoming environment. Each offfice is absolutely blissful as well, there are TVs in each of the corners playing a cartoons, stunning warm paintings on the walls and a plethora of books and toys for the kids to enjoy! Kaye is so pleasant and you can tell she absolutely loves children and only wants the best for them. She is so wonderful to talk to and makes sure to give the kiddos a hug as they leave. My children adore her and even ask when we're going back! If you are looking for the best pediatrician office in town, this, hands down this is where you will want to go.

A medical provider's office should be a Safe Space--especially for patients who trust their provider with their health and well-being. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Leslie Figge, NP. Leslie has been my provider for about eight months. During a recent physical, instead of respectfully asking about my behaviors or needs, she awkwardly asked, "Do them do ___?" While this may have been an attempt at inclusivity, it highlights a deeper issue: neither Leslie nor her office staff have taken the time to properly educate themselves about pronouns or the healthcare needs of non-binary patients. Inclusive care isn't hard--it starts with asking, listening, and learning. After eight months of regular visits, the continued misgendering and lack of awareness felt dismissive, ignorant, and uncaring. Because of this experience, "they are finding a new provider." I would strongly caution gender- and sexually-diverse patients to be aware that this office is not a safe or affirming environment.

I appreciate their willingness to listen to my concerns as well as their bedside manner towards their patients, my kids. Their assessments are always thorough and their recommendations are based on evidenced based practice: which I recognize as a nurse for XX years. I can only speak from my experience and not others, but regarding the rest of the office staff, I have a great rapport with them. The only issue that comes to mind is when my job decided to switch insurances on us mid year. The office staff did all the legwork making sure I was still being covered under my new insurance even when my new IDs were still not updated with the new insurance. And when one doctor isn't available, you can see any of the other doctors in the practice. Another thing I like about the practice is that when you call, you talk to someone who's actually in the office, not a call center who's not even there. He then processed to tell me I was wrong. Levothyroxzine is not a synthetic man made medication that its made from...blah blah. Well that tells me right there he doesn't know his medication. Then when he sends the Armour Thyroid he sends it as some weird name its not even called then was rude to my pharmacy telling them other pharmacies can get it....well so can mine when the actual medication is named proper. Then he sends 2 different strengths which is NEVER heard of. My Endocrinologist that I saw in Palm Springs for yrs when I lived out that way was the one who showed me that Levothyroxzine is actually a synthetic man made medication and I think he would actually know this since its his line of work. I now have an appointment with an Endocrinologist to get me the correct dosage. When I called this office I told them about the 2 different strengths called in and they even told me....no way....not done that way.....one pill. Not 2 separate.
