The thrift shop has a wide variety of interesting things at great prices - I've bought an espresso maker, a suit, and other nice things. I've also had good experiences donating things I no longer need. They give tax deduction receipts on request, and they take lots of stuff - such as furniture - that other Oakhurst stores won't handle. If you're going to donate, make sure it's something that you would buy if you needed it again. No mattresses, sofas, broken items, or other junk. Note: Thrift store and donations are closed Mondays. Make an appointment if you're dropping off a lot, or anything big.
