I did CLEAR for a while and it was great to use it for skipping queues but if you're not traveling often - and I don't fly nearly as often as I used to - it's not worth $150 for three or four trips a year. Precheck? Yes, that's worth it. Less touching and fewer friction points. The TSA in this terminal has a separate Precheck queue. Liquids in. Laptops in. Shoes on. Apparently, they think they're real law enforcement, and expect to be treated as royalty. They took a 20 dollar water bottle that won't spill from me, an ada traveler, and my only option was throw it away, or re-enter the entire process after dumping out what appeared to be an ounce. Coming from 30 years of law enforcement, these people need training. They need to learn how to use discretion. And most of all, they need to understand that although their job is important, they themselves are not. I plan on complaining to the highest level regarding this. The tsa is a clown show.

They have a designated space for kids in the C Gate area, which is favorable for family travel with little ones. The airport is clean and mostly in good repair. For some reason where I am waiting for my flight has quite a few dented and damaged metal chairs. Some of the gates have cushioned seats that seem sturdier and definitely more comfortable.Hopefully thy are in the process of upgrading their seating areas.

I'm from a small western city and am used to these smaller places that have only the basics and get the job done. Not every place needs to be Minneapolis. (IYKYK) But if you've never been to an airport like this, it might elicit a giggle or at least a smile because of its size. That said, it's updated and clean and bright. Plenty of stalls in the ladies room (go to the left! There's more stalls over there!) So easy, so clean and simple. I liked it a lot more than the hustle over at Lambert. Downsides: not much to eat or browse, but it's not nothing. There's a small magazine/snack/gum store. Disgusting and rude. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. From the minute we…read morearrived, until the minute we left it was a bad experience. When we arrived the front desk attendant was very rude. She was on her cell having a personal conversation, and looked at me with disdain because I interrupted her personal call to check in. Her first word of greeting was "What?" - Not hello or how can I help you. After checking in, I asked if there was somewhere to get dinner, and her response was one word: "no". She then proceeded to go back to her conversation on her cell. The room was even worse. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and even though we asked for a non smoking room there were cigarette burns on our comforter. We called down for a new blanket, but it never showed up. The ice machine on our floor was broken and looked to be for some time. The couch in out room was broke and could not be sat on. And our alarm clock was broke and made a horrible crackling noise when plugged in. There was also no remote for the TV. The hotel overall was in terrible disrepair. Smelly carpets, chipped tile, and peeling paint. It had the feeling of a hotel from the movies where crack deals went down or murderers took cheap prostitutes. I felt like I needed a shower after leaving. The checkout attendant was just as rude. Avoid this hell hole.

It boasts a museum with the largest collection of flying antique aircraft in the country (the Smithsonian is bigger, but their planes are on static display), and aside from the museum, there are dozens of other planes that you can watch fly around on a nice day - and Stephanie's dad isn't the only one who will gladly give you a ride in one of the antiques. Stop by on a Sunday and you might be able to catch some of the lunch that the members of the airport have weekly, hosted by my own grandfather, who is one of the owners there.
