Please be aware that Jags from Nexdat is a scammer and fraudster. I contacted him on the 14th Nov…read more23 via google search engine for a quote for web development and while on the phone to him he registered my domain name under his name so that I would have no option but to let him design my website. I only realised after a day what he had done and when I contacted him, he turned around and said that I probably misunderstood him and that I should apologise for calling him a scammer and fraudster. What he didn't realise is that I asked him for a breakdown of his cost for the web development and in that he mentioned that the domain registration fee is £245 + VAT per year. He then said that he can design my website for a discount and I said that I am not happy for him to carry out any work for me, as I had lost his trust. And told him to cancel the domain registration for me ASAP. If he was really genuine, he should have not registered the domain name in his name in the 1st place without my authorisation. He then said to me that I would have to wait for 90 days, but when I enquired, I was told I have to wait for 60 days and he can then cancel the domain name and after 5 days of waiting it will then be available for anyone else to register the domain name on a first come 1st served basis. The 60 days were over on the 13th Jan 2024 and I emailed Jags on the 14th to remind him to start the cancellation process and he never got back to me. Despite a few reminder emails being sent to him. He finally got back to me on the 17th Jan via email at 10:59pm to say that the domain was cancelled on the 19/12/23 and that it is not on his panel. I had been checking daily if the domain is available since 15th Nov 23 and on the 19th Dec the domain was still registered under Nexdat/Nexmojo. But on the 17/01/24 the domain name was registered under godaddy.com at 21:46. And this GoDaddy account is probably his account as well, and looks like the correct cancellation procedure was not followed at all. If he was not a scammer and a fraudster all he had to do was cancel the domain name and let me know that he has done it so I could register it under my name, as he told me that once he cancels the domain name, he will let me know and send me screenshot which he never did. So, if you want Jags from Nexdat to design your website please be very careful as you might be scammed. He will try to sweet talk you into giving him the job to design your website, but please be very careful and look for a developer who is more trustworthy and reliable.
