I contacted the law firm for estate planning and Heather Britton called me back. It was after midnight. The next day I called her back and left a message. The firm advertises a free consultation. Her admin called me to ask me if I wanted to retain their services and if I had questions. Why am I talking to the admin? I requested a free consultation with an attorney to review my situation! Not an admin! I ask the attorney to contact me no later than 1000 pm because of time change. The admin thought it was 10 hours difference and called closer to 1100 pm. I still have not talked to an attorney! I will not be using your services. I'm insulted by the treatment I've received. I sent you personal information to review and discuss and you sent it to an admin with no confidential signed documents. Very unprofessional. read more

This law firm does not return phone calls or emails. They assisted with a probate case and got it to about 85% complete before my lawyer left the firm. Lead Lawyer Chris Heald was in charge of reassigning my case. 8-10 months went by with no action with multiple calls and emails. I even copied Phillip Silberman who told me Chris would reach out soon and after two months I had to hire a new firm. Avoid at all cost. read more

They do NOT take the time to understand anything about your case and just fire off letters that will antagonise those who would have responded seeking solutions if you had reasonably approached them. I paid my retainer and a month later felt no other choice but to request it back. No communication and no movement had been done on my case, despite my multiple attempts to communicate for updates. I have nothing to show for it, yet I was still charged and did not receive my whole retainer back. I felt it to be a waste of my time and money. I recommend you keep looking elsewhere. read more

I hope you read this review before deciding to work with them. They are part of the Texas Bar, but seem to work a good scam. They required a $5,000 retainer to help me with a personal loan dispute. That should have been my first red flag. They did nothing to help my situation. Upon notifying them that I didn't need any further services they did acknoledge this, but they aren't refunding my $5,000. I failed to notice that in their contract I signed with them that they have no obligatory timeline to refund it. I will demand it or report them to the bar, but I don't expect to receive my $5,000. Find any other firm to work with than Silberman. My "attorney" was rude and useless and it seems that I'm out $5,000. read more

I want to thank Steve Costello for his professionalism in handling of my lingering lawsuit . My lawsuit was dragged on by the plaintiff's attorney for 4 years. I had 2 other attorneys from the firm that had worked on my case with no results and were not attentive but Steve in a matter of 5 months managed to get this frivolous case dismissed by the judge. I hired Silberman when my dad died. Chris Held was my attorney. This man actually screamed at me every time we talked on the phone, he would try & bait me into an argument so he could pad his bill. he screamed at me so often while I was grieving my father, I had to take my husband up there to tell Phil Silberman I had been recording Chris and he needs to stop it. Phil immediately took Chris off my case put a 24-year-old boy who wasn't even an attorney yet and took me into litigation where this young boy said maybe 10 words. I had to litigate the entire time myself. For hours w/a retired female judge.I did not like the deal as I had no attorney representing me Phil Silverman told me if I didn't sign the papers I was fired. He sent me pre-notarized papers which is against the law and I didn't sign them. And I paid these misogynistic men to berate & harass me. this was over a property that I clearly owned Chris held try to make me sell my property & give it up so the senior attorney on the other side could win the case. That was in 2014,I should have sued them for what Silberman & held out me thru,but I was to distraught and they knew it and they took extreme advantage of me. Shame on them read more

Don't rent or buy a house if you see the name Silberman Realty or Prasad Mogili. Poor customer service, took forever to respond to the maintenance tickets that we created and had to follow up a lot to get things fixed. Owner took a week plus to replace the AC unit that was not working in 100 degree weather. He discriminates against elderly with disability. Jill Rose is very rude and hope she gets fired. No wonder the company rating is 1.9 No one likes the company or the customer service provided. Seems like everyone is complaining about the same thing, maintenance request not fulfilled, slow in response time, stealing the deposit, gives a dirty house that smelt like ass and expects a clean fresh smelling house in return and gives excuses when you tell them the house is dirty and many more examples. My experience with them can only be described as HORRIBLE!!!! My case is against a contractor who did severe damage to my house. I was told by both Philip and Jesse Buttrey (the attorney assigned to my case) that this was simple and no problem. Paid a $1,500 retainer and have literally received NOTHING!!! A demand letter was to be sent out OVER 2 MONTHS AGO. I cannot even get a hold of Jesse to 1. confirm a demand letter was even drafted 2. get a copy of said demand letter 3. approve said demand letter 4. confirm a demand letter of some sort was even sent 5. provide me details of any response if there was any 6. discuss steps to file a lawsuit. Email after email after email after email I sent asking for all of these things in addition to a couple of others and I have gotten ZERO RESPONSE!!! I contacted Philip Silberman to find out if Jesse had left the firm or had something happen to him that would prevent all emails to go ignored for OVER TWO MONTHS. His response was that he would have him call me immediately. I gave it over 2 full business days to get that call to which again I GOT NOTHING!!!!! Now that I have asked for and now that I am demanding my money be returned in full, several days later Jesse finally bothered to call. He left a voicemail like nothing is going on and as if he is fully unaware at how upset and disappointed I am in him. Seriously?!?!?! Come on now! TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!!!! I don't trust attorneys who do not do their jobs they were hired to do and intentionally cause added stress to clients. They have now failed and by their lack of response once again, are refusing to give me my money back. I am now going to escalate this issue beyond their firm which I will happily do because I do not tolerate this type of misconduct. I contacted Silberman Law Firm to review a work contract. I only had a certain amount of time to sign the document so I was hoping to get some questions answered quickly. I paid their fee for 1 hour on Monday and was told that I would be able to speak to somebody in two business days. I was contacted by one of the firm's lawyers, Lisa Stewart, via email on Wednesday to get the contract and some times I was available. I emailed her my availability for the rest of the week, the contract, and specific questions and concerns about the contract. I didn't hear anything back from her. I had to reach back out on Friday to get a call scheduled to which she responded, she would call me at 2:00. I had a hard stop at 3:00 as I had to meet with one of my own clients. 10 minutes past 2:00 I emailed her if she was going to be calling me. She called at 2:18. She said she was late because she was working from home and somebody came to her door. Right from the beginning, it was evident she did not review the contract or my concerns prior to the call. She also gave me the impression that I was wasting her time as she was very short and argumentative. She even said that she didn't review the contract when asked if there were any clauses that were illegal, then asked me hold on while she checked with a severability clause. Following the call, I emailed Philip Silberman explaining the situation and asked that I be refunded for the 18 minutes that she was late. He forwarded me over to Chris Heald. I asked if Chris wanted to chat to hear my side, but only got a response 4 days later that no refund would be given because Lisa said she reviewed the document prior to the call and that sufficed the full hour. Please do some research before working with this group. For what it is worth, Philip was very kind during the initial call, however, I would hesitate before working with anybody else in his firm. read more
