I've had better haircuts from Great Clips. The customer demographic for this barber shop is mid 30's-50's males. If you're looking for a clean cut that is NOT the basic "2 on the sides and just a little off the top" - do not come here. I asked for a taper cut with a 2 on the bottom for the sides and Jenny took the clippers and went a flat 2 across the entire sides. I even confirmed with her that I wanted it tapered with a 2 on the bottom and she seemed to acknowledge it before she started cutting. How is going a 2 across the entire side considered a "taper"? I could have cut my own hair myself at home if I did exactly what she did. Now I'm down $31 and I have to go to another barber to get this fixed. I was excited to try out this place and was very disappointed. I wouldn't even go back if they offered to fix my haircut for free. When booking on their website, they have the haircut styles, prices, and times listed. I booked a standard haircut (30 minutes, $25) and Jenny took a total of 14 minutes and if you're paying with card it's $1 more. $1 isn't a "big deal", but at the end of the day this is false advertising and is unethical. I left a custom $5 tip only because I know people have to feed themselves - but with this quality of work, it hurt to even give a tip at all. Looked for a traditional barbershop to cut my hair . I like it long enough on the sides to brush back. Five weeks ago I got a cut at the wham bam "clip" joint next to QFC. Terrible. Went to Silver Lake and was pleasantly surprised. Old fashioned shop ( with pool table) I got a senior cut ( a wee bit short, but well done ) to my satisfaction from Steven Magallon. Fair price. This is one busy place to find a suitable appointment. They do a great job with the hair cut. Absolutely follow the instructions and very much happy about the results every time. If I could give it no stars for Jenny, I would. I see the other reviews rave about Tino but nothing about their other barber(s). I walked into the establishment and barely got greeted, only by their dog, hazel, that was the warmest thing I got. I told Jenny that I wanted a 1 all around and maybe 3/4 inches off the top for my combover. I knew things were going to be bad when she didn't even acknowledge me at all or even assess my hair... she barely spent time on the top of my head and trimmed just here and there. Also never asked if I wanted l product for my hair or not. She just left my hair wet on top and that was it. I should've just not tipped her at all I would just expect that if one barber is the star of the show then the rest of the establishment should have a baseline on how to do things or just leave that chair empty, just my 2 cents read more

I almost gave up hope after experiencing a few bad cuts from other places before finding this place. I just walked in and was very impressed by all the reagulars who were there, it gave a good feeling about this spot. The barber Tino who had some ideas for my crazy, wild beard and balding head came through! lol Somehow he was able to make me look great!!! I've been a customer for 15 years and have gotten a good basic men's haircut. I've used several barbers, most of the old guard Kyle, Hyun, Bob are retired. Tino had been my go to guy for a while and besides being an excellent barber, he had modernized the shop. There is a good website and the best change for me has been the ability to make an appointment online with a specific barber. No more walk in and wait. Last month I received a call that Tino was out sick and I needed to reschedule. This is a great barbershop. All the barbers here are great, but Tino is our favorite. He has been doing my son's and my dad's haircuts for several years. My son has particularly tickley ears, and had an aversion to clippers for a long time. Tino patiently used only scissors at first, and then was able to gently introduce clippers. If you or your son have sensory issues or hate haircuts, Tino can take care of you. I'm so grateful to him! PLUS: You can make an appointment after hours, for an extra $10. Then you know you won't wait, and you can have Tino change or turn off the TVs. So if you or your son need a quieter or less stimulating environment, that's the way to go. read more

This "was" a great neighborhood barber shop. A couple of months ago I got a haircut, and discovered that it had been purchased by a woman. An older gentlemen cut my hair, and although he did a fair job, his razor cut the back of my neck. No apology, but I tipped him well and considered it an honest mistake. Fast forward to today, when the lady owner cut my hair. She remembered me, and I was very specific what I wanted, which is a pretty simple mans cut. It took her less than 5 minutes, and then asked me if I wanted changes. I thought she was referring to my instructions, so I said no. Then abruptly she said that was it! When I looked in the mirror, my cut was far from complete. I said that I mis-understood her question, and her reply was, "It's too late for that, I gave you your chance to make changes"! I asked her again if she would reconsider, but she refused. At this point I walked out, and said that I was done. The most offensive, rude, and unprofessional experience I have had in my 56 years. I took my son here last week to get a haircut for back to school and they completely butchered it! I was so upset I had to go take them somewhere else for them to fix it. If you just need clipper work they might be able to do it but I wouldn't recommend it for haircuts that require skilled scissor work. :( read more

Best barbers with the best prices. The fact you can walk in also makes it great as most places are appointment only. Furthermore- just because it is appointment only and costs 40$+ does not mean you will even get a good haircut, whereas here you will definitely get a great cut.
