Came to SilverCity Riverport Cinemas and had movie snacks from Outtakes. I usually get popcorn and the usual movie snacks but I was feeling something more filling so decided to get outtakes. I got their chicken buffalo poutine and donuts, both of which were sooo good! The poutine was so flavourful and the chicken was crispy and saucy. The donuts were soft and they gave a caramel dipping sauce on the side which made it even better. Both the items were freshly made which definitely added to the taste. Giving one star less because the bathrooms in the cinema weren't clean despite there being so many stalls. It was the last show of the night but I've been to other cineplex and none have been this bad. The only time I come to this location is if I want to watch a bollywood movie! read more

Hubby ordered a Chicken Burger combo meal for himself, plus a poutine for our daughter and I to share, and we had coupon for a free medium bag of popcorn. I was very happy to learn that the gravy on the poutine was vegetarian so I'd be able to eat it! Not an awesome poutine but it was better than I expected. Think I'd have preferred a larger serving of it but...it's a movie theatre and not a Costco so I guess I can't really complain about it! When I went to get our popcorn the person working at the counter asked me if I'd like to add butter or not. It costs extra for them to add butter so I took the popcorn as it was. Funny thing is...this theatre has dispensers where you can pump your own butter on to the popcorn. Why would anyone pay extra to add butter when they can pump the butter themselves for free?! From previous experience at a different SilverCity, they did ask last time whether we'd like to have the butter layered. So...I guess having different layers of butter throughout the bag as opposed to just one layer of it on top might be just cause for charging slightly more but...is it really worth an extra few dollars more?! The popcorn seems to already be kinda buttered already even without asking them to add butter or dispensing the butter yourself. Top Gun Maverick Gosh I was about 7yrs old (hee I wish) when the first Top Gun came out in 1986, a long, long time ago! I don't remember much about it (Top Gun that is, not the 80s LOL) other than that these fast jets were zooming around like crazy, Tom Cruise was being Tom Cruise, & the dude (Goose) who died in the movie, went on to great success on the ER tv series. Of course who doesn't know or could ever forget that massive syrupy love theme hit by Berlin - Take My Breathe Away, which added to TGs popularity. Oh & who can forget, Val Kilmer - Iceman. Fast forward to 2022 - Top Gun: Maverick came out with the expectation of making Cruise 'appealing' again. He has been charming at all the red carpet TGM movie premiers, ala London holding Princess Kate's hand up a flight of stairs. Bravo Tom. Wow - getting a 5min standing ovation at the end of the movie at Cannes, after it premiered there at the famous film festival a few weeks ago - Tom is doing 'all the right moves.' Tom knows he has that megawatt smile & he's using it now at 100% to win fans back. Let's admit, he's been a bit of a douchebag over the years! But if he just keeps his mouth shut & does less interviews (less deep thought narrative & cover up those live hot mics) & simply just acts, I think he'll be just fine. Ok so the movie TGM, is very entertaining - on the edge of your seat hanging on for dear life - adrenaline rush excitement, as the fighter jets go up, down & all over. Try not to get sick watching. No barf bags provided at theatres - bring your own. 2 thumbs up? Yes absolutely!!! I won't reveal any details or spoilers so just go see it on the big screen! IMAX is king! Definitely one of the best theatres to go to in the Lower Mainland. Ample parking and before the virus the games area was open and quite fun. I feel like they have 16 to 20 Theatres within the cinema and therefore the Movie options are in abundance. Another nice thing about this location is that it's actually an entire entertainment complex, with bowling, swimming, a children's Place enter, an ice rink, and extreme air park which is trampolines and fun for people of all ages. There is also an old spaghetti factory and a Brewery nearby which means you can have quite the entertaining afternoon or evening should you choose. read more

I have been here many times in the past and I think the very last time I as here was back before my Yelper days. Recently, I came here to watch the movie Rich Crazy Asians. The theater is huge with lots of parking. There are many theater room here. Popcorn here was ok. No different compared to the other SilverCity. Theater seats are not wow. Its the same compared to the other SilverCity. They got smart and made a lot of the movies here either 3D or AVX so it would cost an extra $3. I used to come to this theater quite often. read more

One line review: A decent spot to watch a blockbuster film. We went here to see the recently released Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker -- a regrettable film, IMO, but the venue was decent. We bought our tickets online, and the electronic ticket entry was seamless. Seats are assigned. You know exactly where in the theater you'll sit. The slope of the theater seating was steep, which was welcome; it allows short people like me and my family to see over the heads of taller spectators in front. My upholstery (faux leather?) on my seat was broken and ready to be replaced. I know it is customary to show commercials (to sell products and services, not previews of coming attractions) in some theaters these days, but they showed way too many -- 10 minutes' worth, all before the trailers. That was NOT welcome. Felt like a waste of my time. I already paid good money ($60 for 4) to see the movie; I shouldn't have to 'pay' with time as well. Parking was free and readily available in their private lot. It probably helped that we went to a 9:40p showing. We did not buy anything at the concessions and did not use the restrooms, so we could not rate them. Tickets seemed pricey for this quality of theater. Bottom line: Good enough, but not top-rate. read more

Being the movie buff that I am, I've been to most of the movie theatres in the Lower Mainland. I find myself at this SilverCity location more than any other, because I'm often in Richmond eating or shopping. There is usually a long line-up at the box office here on weekends & evenings, so I always get my tix online beforehand. There are separate machines that will print out your pre-purchased tix without you having to wait in a long line. The concession choices here are pretty limited (standard popcorn, pop, candy, fast food burgers / hotdogs / poutine, limited Starbucks menu), but it's alright since we usually get just the popcorn combos. The fancy pop dispensing machines are pretty nifty & allow you to choose from a wide range of flavours of pop. The theatres are alright - I've seen movies with regular, 3D, DBOX, UltraAVX, IMAX. You pretty much get what you pay for, for each type of experience - better visuals & sound quality, or moving seats, etc. Cleanliness is quite variable.. Sometimes you still see leftover trash from the previous crowd, if the cleaning crew didn't do a good job of cleaning it all up. I only wish this location offered the VIP experience so we wouldn't have to drive all the way out to Coquitlam for that. read more

Was very excited to see the promotional glow in the dark cups/toppers/popcorn tins for the new Spider-Man: No Way Home movie was going to be sold in cinemas upon movie release. Sadly, due to heavy rainfall causing flooding in metro Vancouver, all cineplex locations did not get their allocated shipments. I visited and phoned many locations looking for them and it was the same response of didn't get any. Only one person, a general manager by the name of Kevin Isaac at the SilverCity Riverport location took my name and email down and said that he would let me know as soon as they come in. Wasn't looking to good as this was late January and the movie came out mid December already. Sure enough, I get an email first week of February from Kevin informing me that they just came in. I make my way over to the cinema and he recognizes me and greets me as soon as I get there. Kevin is very friendly, professional and very approachable. He went above and beyond in making sure when they did receive their shipment that I would be immediately informed. Kevin is a great choice for a GM, and I would like him to get the recognition he deserves for his outstanding customer service. Thank you again Kevin. read more

The seating, Imax screen, and sound were excellent. The 3D was great, and the provided 3D glasses were nice. I'm an American who was in Vancouver for vacation, so I was surprised to see that this movie theater (or perhaps all Canadian theaters?) does not have any salt for the popcorn. When I couldn't find salt anywhere, I asked the concessions stand attendant and got, "salt for what?" as a response. So, I explained this Americanism of putting salt and butter on popcorn, but she said they don't keep any salt in the theater anywhere. Also, I was charged $1 extra for buttered popcorn, yet there were free butter dispensers near the napkins. The Coke Freestyle soda machines were plentiful, but they were out of over half of the drink options. read more

Went to SilverCity Riverport to watch the latest Star Wars film in 3D with the upgraded D-Box seating. An interesting experience as the seat vibrates and moves around to simulate the motion on the screen. I think we picked a good movie to experience D-Box for the first time. The Good: Extra leg room, your own two arm rests, the seat sits higher, the row of seats reserved for D-Box are prime seats, plenty of free surface parking (not a fan of underground) and a convenient location just off hwy 99. The Bad: The mens washrooms are in need of more regular maintenance...not a pleasant experience. We do enjoy watching movies on the big screen and SilverCity Riverport is our theatre of choice and I would recommend it. read more

IMAX 3D for Captain America - Civil War. Captain America was a good film to exploit the benefits that IMAX and 3D provide. The visuals popped and were grand on the big screen. The audio system was also amazingly crisp and clear, delivering bowel-emptying base and ear-drum splitting treble. The only thing that ruined the experience were the 3D glasses I was issued. I must've gotten a recycled pair as they were covered in buttery fingerprints that no amount of rubbing could remove. Additionally, the glasses rested on my face in such a way that caused them to perpetually fog up. Between the fog and fingerprints, it was difficult to watch the movie clearly. And, the cost of 3D IMAX is $19, which is probably what the Blu-ray will cost when it comes out. That is too much coin. read more

I come here because the theatre is convenient and close to where I live. So naturally it's the place to go for me when I want to see a movie. Silver City Riverport offers FREE parking. There is also the Cinimax theatres and lots of movies to choose from. Of course everything is crazy expensive once you're inside. Why does it have to be that way? If it weren't so darned expensive to buy food and drinks, I'd probably go more often. Hell, I can just wait till it's on Blueray and watch it on the big screen at home!! So if they ever want a 5 star? Make the snacks and the food more affordable. Heck, it's mostly the kids that are going and how the heck can the parents afford all of that every weekend? If you could get a burger for the same price you got one outside, you'd probably sell more and get more attendance. For the cost I give them a 1 star. For the movies and the theatre itself? 4 stars. I mean, who doesn't love movies? In the day of Netflix and online streaming, I find it so refreshing to actually go into the movies, eat some popcorn, and recline in those comfy movie theatre seats. This SilverCity location is awesome. As far as movie theatres go, SilverCity is always my favourite. It's much larger, cleaner, and they have arcade games! They also usually offer all the current movies that are out. This theatre is located in a huge entertainment complex that has a bowling alley, a few different restaurants, a swimming pool, and so many other fun businesses. Definitely makes it ideal if you want to grab a bite before or after a movie. If you can, buy your ticket online and then claim them once you get to the theatre. On weekend evenings, some showings can sell out if you wait to the last minute. Just another way technology is making your life easier nowadays. Fantastic theatre to watch a movie for any occasion - family night, friend night, date night, you name it. I'd highly recommend SilverCity if you were wanting to catch the latest release. read more

If i'm coming here to see a movie and also try to shop/eat in the area before or after movie, it's a pretty solid pick, distance-wise, it's in the southeast part of Richmond. About 20 theatres, including a new one the Ultra max where u get to pay the extra $3 to reserve your seat. Parking's always a b*!@#$ here but luckily the hockey arena has some, though once the beer leagues start, it'll be worse. Generally getting there an hour before show starts is a good idea. Concessions pretty smooth sailing except the TCBY can be pretty long due to where it's located, everyone can see it, unlike Metropolis where it's a bit hidden. p.s. last nite, watched Premium Rush, it's worth seeing though it's more of a rental/tv movie. And Bullet Vanishes is actually better if you're into CSI, just the Chinese version, with english subtitles. read more

But be mentally prepared to call the police... lots of the moviegoers here are mentally ill.....You know, some people just had to ruin other strangers movie experience when going to cinemas, and you end up being angry during the whole session of the movie... sigh. ... I live downtown and only drive to Richmond for the best Chinese food & to enjoy big blockbusters on IMAX. I have a slight preference for D-Box seats at Scotiabank, but there are times where it wasn't worth the $24 to watch it in D-Box. I've never been disappointed with a movie in IMAX (well, maybe Crimson Peak). 3 tips for people: a) Your Scene points are redeemable for any type of movie (1000 points), including 3D and IMAX. Save your points redemptions for these special ones, and use the blue coupons or cash for the regular type. Otherwise you have to pay a $3 premium for 3D, or $5 for IMAX, even if you're using a blue coupon. b) The Cineplex app (if you have a smartphone) can store your Scene card number and barcode, which then can be scanned by the booth people right off your screen. One less card cluttering your wallet/purse after you enter your card info. c) the IMAX front section (in front of the aisle where you walk in) seriously sucks. I had to crank my head and could barely see the entire screen inside my field of view. Go early, and sit in the back. I learned today that the IMAX theatre is physically shorter (ie fewer rows) than the regular cinemas. read more

Watching a movie, in Richmond, well now this is the only place your really going to stay in the vacinity of Richmond as the one in Richmond Centre is gone. Out in the middle of nowhere, or on the road to the highway, this megacomplex 'Silvercity' almost stands alone. Sure there are other buildings here with restaurants and an aquatic centre, but probably none would be in existance if it weren't for this theatre. I've come here on busy days, and days where you wonder if anyone is watching a movie, and on the packed days here I'd give it a 3 star, and on dead days (like Monday) I'd give this place 4 stars.... so 3.5 it is. One of the theatres in the GVR that has IMAX, which only means that if there is a movie you want to see that is presented in this format, you better prebook, as it gets busy. Tons of showings of movies in multiple time frames but don't be surprised on a weekend of a Tuesday that shows are 'Sold Out'. As with your standard Silvercity locations you have the standard commercialized overpriced food options, but what can you do if you came unprepared except be willing to fork out the dough for these lower options of food that you could get for 2/3's of the cost of what they are really charging you here, just because you are here.... but let's put that story aside. Tons of parking here, and I mean tons, when it's a non-busy day. Almost non-existant when the place is packed. Ever watch a movie, or see those commercials of parking lots that stretch for miles on end, well it sure can look like that here when no cars are parked, and it feels so small the other way around. Enough entrances and exits for cars and people to come and leave this joint so your don't have a clog up at any of the exits. Just plan ahead when you do come here, and don't come last minute, you might have to deal with far parking, and lining up to redeem some movie voucher, if you do such things like that. read more

I think this is always a crazy busy theatre to watch a movie. You'll have to drive a bit further away since it's at the outskirts of Richmond. At least there's about 20 movies so lots of selection. It's also in a complex, so there is other entertainment around (bowling, restaurants) in case the line up for the movie is too long and you just want to give up. Yeah, there is lots of parking space, but you'll have to hunt for a free one and you may have to park far. It's always packed. The theatre is large with lots of spacious seats and you can always pay a bit extra if you want to reserve your seat. read more

This theater is good. Lots of parking, clean facilities and good service ( tickets ). The bad is the concession area. For some reason, it's difficult for them to move quickly and get the order right. I stood in line for 10 minutes and it was only 1 person in front. The customer was ordering 2 food packages but the cashier was having issues inputting it in. Someone else came by to help, then it took forever for them to give the food. A lineup formed behind me and 2 workers were jusy standing around behind the counter. Not sure what they were doing. They probably should have opened the other till or helped get the 2 food packages while the cashier rang in other orders. I gave up as my movie was about to start and I didn't want to chance it of not getting in before movie starts. If you aren't planning to get food or drinks while watching movie, then you should go to this theater. If you want something, come a bit earlier. read more

Ok seriously, what the actual F.... This is the 2nd time I've come to this theatre and bad luck, I get another noisy movie patron. We came here to watch Ghost in the Shell on a weekday day afternoon last week and there was this old Chinese couple de-shelling loud nuts through the ENTIRE MOVIE. There were other people there too, they kept looking over at the old couple but everyone was too polite to say something. So I yelled out, "WHO IS SHELLING NUTS???" But nobody answered. Maybe they thought I was talking about Ghost in the Shell... you know... shelling.. ghost in the shell... lol. When I bumped into the old Chinese lady in the washroom after the movie, she gave me a death glare so she obviously understood English and knew I was calling her out. She totally ruined the movie experience for me and my friends. She snuck in snacks that weren't movie snacks (which I don't care about if people do that) but they were LOUD snacks that just keep going "crack crack crack" through the whole 2 hours. I was hoping she would eventually quiet down after 15 minutes, but noooo, through the whole movie... "crack crack crunch crack" in the entire movie theatre. I wanted to talk to her or call a movie attendant but I didn't want to miss the movie. My friends were too shy to talk to her, and everyone else in the movie didn't talk to her but they kept looking over at her. Too bad I didn't have snacks on hand, otherwise I would have chucked my food at her to stop her. Argh. Movie experience ruined. Here is my old review from May 2016, which lucky me, I got a crying baby that time: They need a new announcement: "Please turn off all cell phones, cameras, and crying babies." Can moms bring their crying baby into a movie theatre? This isn't bad parenting, it's poor etiquette. I was in to see Alice Through the Looking Glass movie at a 9:20pm showing on May 28th Sat night at Silvercity Riverport. A mom brought her toddler in and sure enough, as I predicted, the baby starts crying out halfway through the movie. WTF. That lady is whack, why is she bringing in a baby at a late night showing? Isn't there some kiddie daytime movie slot for moms to bring their crying babies? The mom left with her baby, so thank goodness for that, coz people were talking to her and flashing her the evil eye. Riverport is an ok theatre, I have noticed crowds getting much less over the last 5 years. Not sure if it's because of competition with new theatres, or if people are streaming / downloading movies online instead. The many times I have been here, something goes wrong. For example, booths running out of fountain pop or certain foods, or a kiosk or two closed, or staff not serving the line-up so people are waiting to an empty counter, or a game in the arcade not working. These are all signs of neglect or things slowly running down, so management needs to keep more on top of things if they want to stay competitive in today's market. read more

I like the new seats and the fact that, while this theatre does get busy, it's doesn't get wall-to-wall crowded the way SilverCity Metropolis does. Unlike some of the other theatres in and around Vancouver, parking here is plentiful. Be warned, on a busy weekend, you may end up having to park far, far away from the theatre. Food prices, like at all movie theatres, are a rip off. If you have a SCENE card, you get a 10% discount which does little to ease the stinging prices. Service is hit and miss, some of the staff work more slowly than others. My advice: get here at least an hour before your movie on weekends, and if you want to eat, get here even earlier and grab a bite to eat at the pub across the street before the movie to avoid the concession altogether. read more

I'm a bit of a jerk, I might have said that in a past review too. Fact is, I have a fairly good home theater the includes big reclining seats and fancy surround. I come to the theater for one reason: my wife won't wait to see movies she's excited about. So, for a theater to get a 5 star, they'd have to blow my mind in service, comfort, cleanliness, and anything else. Especially when prices are so high. This theater is a mess. Popcorn everywhere, gum on the seats, slippery floors that put the nearby skating rink to shame. The seats hurt my back, there is a horrible smell in the IMAX theater like something died behind the screen. Washrooms...'Nuff said. Why 4 stars when I'm so horribly negative? Because I'm also a realist. They have thousands of jerks-- just like me-- come through here for each day. Every single one of us leaves our garbage behind in the theater and drop popcorn out of our heavily overloaded bags. Contrary to the movies we watch, there isn't any magical way to keep things clean, nor is there miracles happening to tidy things up (those powers are still working on my winning lotto tickets). Honestly, the staff are, on average, very nice and pleasant. The parking is plentiful and mostly safe. Today, the wife wanted to see cartoon "owls" in IMAX 3d. The lights dimmed and the recorded IMAX intro started. Like sheep, we all put on the glasses like instructed and the screen started up. Oh no! Blurred, multiple ghosted images, and no sound. I started to check the glasses thinking I got a defective pair. Then the screen goes blank. One of the managers-- a young lady that I remember months back was part of the cleaning an ticket taker crew-- came out to announce there was problems and please be patient. A few minutes later, she came out to announce that "the projector was hungry and decided to eat the film". (okay, I might be paraphrasing a little here) She said that this isn't like a normal movie that can just be rethreaded and started again. In fact, it requires a special technician to fix the projector and he was 20 or more minutes away. Then the customer service started. The reason for 4 stars: we would really like to get you into another movie or provide you with a full refund. But, whichever you choose, we will be giving you a coupon to enjoy a free movie, IMAX, or special event with us in the future. Nice touch. Wife wanted to sit and wait for the next IMAX show. Joyfully, that means almost 2 hours in this stink. But at least we can come back to enjoy it again for free! First choice: movie in comfort at home. But, if that isn't an option due to the "whatever you like sweety" syndrome, then why not support the local kids by coming here. read more

Watching a movie in the theatre will never be as comfortable as sprawling out on the couch in the comfort of my own home but let's face it.....it's never the same experience without the big screen and audio. Home sweet home is only good for older flicks and reruns. A new movie! Time to head to the theatre... Compared to independent theatres and other Famous Player locations, Riverport is standard format for a Silvercity, but there are aspects of this particular location that can't be beat. Plenty of open parking, none of those underground maze parkades, pleasant enough staff and most importantly, pretty clean theatres and washrooms. Contrary to other reviews, I was quite pleased to see very minimal garbage in the theatre I was in, given how busy this location gets. And after the show, there's also the convenience of Richmond's plentiful late night eats just 10-15 minutes drive away. Been coming here throughout the years driving from Surrey, Richmond, New West, Burnaby and Vancouver, but loyalty's got nothing to do with it. It's just one of the best theatres to hit up, for those living outside of downtown. read more

This is way cool! It reminded me of Metreon when it first opened in San Francisco. This place has a cool arcade and a snack bar that will put a lot of the movie theatres to shame. Unfortunately, ths price of junk food is not any cheaper but oh well. Price wise,it's comparable to the theatres in the US. The screen is great. The seats?! Century wins! We may have gotten the rooms where the seats don't recline. If you're ever in the area, this spot has some of the coolest indoor recreation area... And plenty of parking. read more

Came early to watch fantastic beast on Christmas day. Got a good seat and waited for an hour inside. Movie came on and realized the cineplex employee issued the weong tickets. Furious we left and asked for the correct movie. She said the movie is now full. So i asked for a complimentary movie. Was denied. This is unacceptable. If the company (cineplex) is in the wrong. Which they clearly are in this scenerio. I the customer expect compensation. Consider it cost of business or a theta premium. Do the right thing cineplex, after all it's Christmas. read more

There really aren't many places to watch a movie in Richmond. This is the best that it gets and is a very nice cinema complex. There are quite a few restaurants around here also. This place reminds me of an island/oasis. There isn't anything around here at all except farms and a big car import lot. But, if you are at Silver City, it seems like all of the fun things to do in Richmond are in one spot. This is a cool place to hang out every once in a while. read more

Filth, disrepair, neglect... absolute disregard for the customer experience. Riverport used to be the best theatre in town... Now serving the worst theatre food, drink machines that don't work, utter filth - not the "busy day kind", the deep dirt and grime that means only one thing - utter and complete total disrespect for the customer. Floors and walls are dirty and broken. Even the outside is in disrepair. Oh man whatever you do DONT buy food - my $5.00 hot dog was dry and wrinkly. There's so much popcorn, garbage and filth that I am worried about rats and mice scampering about my feet. And yet... they still charge highway robbery for tickets and popcorn. The cheap theatre by my house has more class and better customer treatment. What a disgrace. I WILL NEVER go to this nasty horrible theatre ever again. I am completely disgusted and frankly ANGRY. They should shut this place down. read more

Total pigsty for starters. How often it is cleaned, I don't know, but it seemed like weekly. The bathroom floor covered in piss. 1 of the 6 ticket terminals were working. Huge line-up. By the time I got my ticket, only front row seats were available, so screw that. read more

I've been a patron of this movie theatre since it opened way back when. The great thing about this place is that it has 18 movie theatres as well as one IMAX theatre; some seat more than others of course, and the staff adjust each movie and the sizes of its audiences accordingly to how long said movie has been showing, and its popularity. Midnight screenings are very well organized by this crew, albeit waiting outside in the freezing cold or boiling hot weather is a bit much; I understand nothing can really be done about this considering fire hazards, so I don't complain. The crew is mostly a bunch of teenagers, but hey, they're doing just fine. Score: I got the top row so no child can kick the back of my seat- HA! read more

Bigger theater so more choices for movies and showtimes. Its in a big entertainment plaza so you could also go bowling, swimming, trampoline jumping, before your movie. Time your arrival carefully though so you can snag a closer parking spot as people are leaving the movie before yours. Huge huge parking lot and property it just sucks when its raining and you have to walk super far for your car. Concession options are pretty good here, with the exception of tcby or whatever that ice cream shakes place is. Always ask for no butter on your popcorn if you don't want to feel sick after, the popcorn is still flavourful without the liquid butter. They also have a mini arcade area at this location if you arrive early and have time to kill. read more

This is one of the MOST busiest movie theaters I have ever been to, on top of that, the layout of the movie theater is redundant. The amount of space for people to order, line ups, is just so hot in the middle, it's not worth even waiting in line up for food at all. The walk towards the theater rooms are LONG and annoying. But there is so much space there... The person who designed this theater for the Riverport location must die... Nothing special here to be honest, but a lot of theater rooms, with small space for people to leave. The parking is abundant, but it is very easily to forget where you park, so be warned. The washrooms are always clean, which is a plus. One of the only theater in Vancouver that offers IMAX!! And always get seats above so you can see the whole screen properly... :P Enjoy your stay here, but I don't come here often as it is literally in the middle of nowhere... read more

We came here to watch 'Captain America - the Winter Soldier' in 3D Ultra AVX. The Ultra AVX theater are upgraded and the seats are comfortable, and you can lift up the arm rest in the middle so you can seat more comfortably. This place is really showing its age. The parking is huge so its a bonus for big blockbuster weekend. The washrooms are dirty and smells. read more

This massive movie theater always feels like it just got dumped in the middle of no where. I've seen some great movies here, but the movie theater does have some problems. They're probably just pet peeves of mine though... 1. Tuesday night is cheap movie night and this place is alive with people. 7.50$ for a movie is a steal I have to admit. But this place becomes disorganized and crazy. Especially when I went on New Years Day. 2. Food options are just terrible, I am not a huge fan of popcorn and candy to begin with so there is nothing really to eat. They have this lame pizza, burger place which just looks nasty. I hate it when people bring their food into the theater, especially full on pizzas. It stinks the place up like no tomorrow and I really have no desire to hear some man smacking away a whole pizza during Les Mis or Harry Potter. Eat before or after, not during please. 3. Front row seats should be illegal to sell, no one wants those seats! You shouldn't be selling them and I shouldn't be forced to sit in them. If there are no seats left, go and ask for your money back. Those seats just ask for a head ache, or are purposely made for people who have constant whip lash.... The point is when I buy a movie ticket, I have no desire to sit that close to a screen. 4. Putting movies into tiny theaters. I went to go see the hobbit and it was sold out and we were all cramped into one of their smallest theaters. I get it that you need to make money off the newer movies. But you have 19 theaters! If a movie is sold out put it in a larger theater and sell more tickets! Meet the demands of the consumer! Don't get me wrong its decent movie theater to go to. But it is much more pleasant when it is a slow night and no one is there. All theaters really have to get rid of those terrible front row seats too. Just don't sell them! No one wants them! read more
