If you are in need key or lock services, look no further! Lost my only remaining set of car keys, leaving my car stranded in a parking lot. The local Nissan dealer said that they couldn't program keys for my '02 QX4, and the nearest Infiniti dealer said that I needed the vehicle on site, 300 miles away. Floyd, Carol, and their son waited for me in Montrose, later than their posted hours, while I took a shuttle from Telluride through bad weather. They are the nicest people ever and were able to get new keys cut and programmed for my vehicle. read more

Simmons is by far the best locksmith I could find out here. He was fast, efficient, and put up with my multiple calls with questions. He charged a fair price to add a chip key for my Mazda, and even gave me an emergency lockout key as well. Another locksmith in the area wanted to charge me upwards of 600, and that wasn't even an emergency service. Simmons was less than a third that price (again, not emergency service). Basically, he's not trying to rob you blind for a simple key. If I was living here, I would use Simmons for all of my locksmith needs. I don't review often, only when the service, value, and quality are stellar or abysmal, so I hope this is a helpful review for anyone needing help. read more

I locked myself out of the tiny house, the keys to the car, and everything I needed, was conveniently on my key rack inside the house. This company came out as soon as I called them for the service call unlocked the lock fix the code on my keypad and also said we need to replace the striker on your door lead to problems down the road. They did all that and only charged me $60. Wow awesome customer service great value. I ended up giving them an extra $15. Gas is expensive! Thank you so much for your superior service. read more

I would like to commend Mr Floyd Miller for his prompt and professional service in responding to my minor emergency in Hotchkiss, Colorado. Mr and Mrs Miller responded to a car key lockout on July 15, 2021. They were able to come to my rescue on Thursday July 15th, in approximately one hour or less from 25 miles away. Mr Miller opened my car door and then made another key for me to hide on my pickup. I lost the only key to our vehicle earlier today (key has chip in it). After back tracking and going to the service desk 4+ times and going to automotive dept to see if we could get a duplicate, no luck. We went to our vehicle to contact a locksmith. Our first call, was open 9-5 M-F. The next call was to Simmons. They were from the beginning extremely kind and were willing to help, coincidentally they were headed to Montrose Wal-Mart parking lot to service another vehicle! Awesome! They came (with wife, and son came shortly after) they were comforting, even though our situation was not dire, they treated us like friends. Dad worked hard trying to get the key duplicated and programmed to get our vehicle on the road again. He had already left Delta when we called, so he had 1 of 3 programming machine with him. This family went back to Delta to get the other machines and came back to Montrose to get our vehicle started...and got the job done! We were scared of the bill we might have had.
