We probably did not need an appointment to just look at fabric and current blazer styles. Many bright/colorful options which we had trouble finding at other stores. Was quoted ~2,500 for a blazer in our chosen fabric - YIKES. Price includes full lining, if you opt out of lining you still pay full price. Our chosen fabric would take 6-8weeks (not including final fitting) but another fabric choice would have been closer to 3-5weeks. Also the fabric people take a month off in the summer - usually August he said so he said if you do not order Before August it will be a 4 week wait for them to be able to order again. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, due to the price but maybe one day! The other clothing sold here is very high end = pricey. My boyfriend was very heartbroken the sweater he liked was $700 lol.

This location seems to have the best selection though. I have noticed that many of their styles and designs play off of higher end brands such as GUESS or Marciano. Last time I was in the store I saw a halter corset dress that was practically identical to one I saw on the Marciano website so you can kind of guess where they are getting their design ideas from. That said, their prices was half (if even that) of high-end designers. For example, the Marciano dress was about $200 and this similar UB dress was $40. This gives an idea of their price range. Their tops range from $15 to $25, jeans for $40, jackets and coats for under $80 and everything else in between. They also sell accessories such as scarfs, belts and bags. When their merchandise goes on sale, their stuff is dirt cheap. I purchased a black velvet vest for $5, sweater for $5, even a pair of jeans for $5. They also take SPC (Student Price Card) that gives 10% off all their regular price merchandise which is an added bonus.

Although this store quoted me even longer as needing 2 weeks in advance for that same rental service, they did quote me an estimated suit cost that was $50 cheaper than their competitor brand & tailoring service could be finished in a couple of days if a suit is bought outright. We did have a little trouble with sizing as my dad leans toward plus sizing, and a lot of the pant sizes only went up to 44 wide. Many styles are slim pant because of the current trend of tighter pants on the younger generation. There is still a good amount of selection in this store with clearly marked clearance racks and sales signs. The fellow who was helping us out was thankfully able to find us something we could work with. And pant hemming is included with the cost & done in-store. When they found out we were purchasing it for a funeral, they were able to make the hem service a priority, so we could pickup in just over an hour, rather than having to pick up in a day or so which was so incredibly helpful & done without us having to prompt/ask. I gotta say that this store being conveniently located in a mall really helps the time to pass quickly. Staff there are pretty helpful & friendly too. I actually recommended my brothers to get their suits here as well!

I recently went in because they had a shoe table set out with 'Irregular Choice' shoes. For hose who don't know, Irregular Choice are a well known brand in the UK for really unsustainable footwear. Mostly heels and boots but like none you've ever seen before. The shark boots are wild! I love them. Even my mother in law has the cat heels and bag to match. Totally worth checking out. Apparently this is the only place selling them in Edmonton. The shoe and accessory section at the back of the store is fantastic. Everything is a little extra in here even the toll is covered in bling! It's a fun store. Check it out.

A suggestion to Henry Singer, if I may: just make the hemming of trousers complementary no matter the price, sale or no sale. He went through the process of writing all our information down (it's almost completely illegible) and just generally seemed uninterested and bothered by helping us. Another associate did wind up taking over for him who was much friendlier and more helpful. Overall we got what we needed but we left this location put off by the first employee's reaction and probably won't return.
