My recent visit to this dry cleaner's left me feeling extremely disappointed. I had been here a few times before to get alterations done to my pants because the seamstress had done such an amazing job; it had been some time since I had been back. Recently, I received new work pants that required alterations and hemming. When I first walked in, I was disappointed to see there was a new seamstress working there, but since I had such excellent customer service last time, I decided to give her a try. She measured my pants and I told her I wanted all five pants, to be fitted. She measured me and told me they would be ready by Saturday, which gave her a week to complete. On Friday, I received a text message confirming the pants were done. I picked up the pants and tried them on when I got home. The pants did not meet my expectations or match the description. I went back to the shop and explained the situation to the seamstress. She looked at me with an upset face and began to shake her head. She was arguing with me, suggesting that I should have provided a clearer explanation to what I wanted. I told her I did not mind paying a difference. I just wanted the pants completed correctly. She continued to shake her head and told me she wasn't sure if they were going to charge me. She told me to try the pants on again and began to measure. She asked, in a stern voice and with a look of displeasure, and asked if these measurements were better. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the pants to fit, emphasizing that I preferred them to be more fitted. She placed some pines on the pants and left the fitting room without a word. I walked out of the fitting room and walked toward the cashier. The lady in front was gathering my information when she came and started telling her the prices. She then started arguing with the cashier over a price disagreement because the cashier did not understand how she was trying to price the pants. She began to raise her voice at the cashier (because she appeared to be frustrated), but I intervened and clarified the pricing she was trying to explain. I paid for the pants to be fixed, and she told me they would be done by Saturday, which would be a week. Saturday came along, and I did not hear a word from anyone. Monday and Tuesday passed without any communication, so finally I called the business. I explained to the man who answered the phone that my items were past due, and I hadn't received any text or phone call from anyone. He stated they normally would not do that, but he would check if it was ready and hung up on me without any notification. I never received a call from anyone; when I tried to reach them again, I received no response. Finally, the business sent me a text two weeks after she promised to fix my pants, saying that my items were ready for pickup. Let me tell you that even after trying on all of my items, they were still messed up. Some of the hems from the pants are noticeably shorter than the others. It looked like some of the pants appeared to have remained unfixed. I paid for a service twice, but neither time did I receive the necessary results or fixes. Both times I was measured, I even brought my work boots in to be measured properly. I wouldn't mind paying for a good service; sometimes there are miscommunications, but no one should have to pay for or deal with someone with poor customer service and subpar work, especially with their price points. My work pants are messed up and the company I work for won't replace them, so I would have to come out of pocket to buy new pants (the work pants are not cheap). I have to walk around work for 10 hours a day with mismatched and unfixed pants. I am not one to leave reviews, but the seamstress was so rude and did such a poor job. read more

I received a text message next day saying it's ready for picking up! So efficient, didn't expect it's done so fast! I showed them the dirty spot, it's all gone! They hanged the comforter on a hanger like clothes with a plastic covering, makes it easier to inspect. It's nice, clean and doesn't have a weird smell. Good success with the comforter, even though it's a bit distant from where I live, I have confidence in them and don't mind to drive here. I brought my dress and my hubby's suit here to dry clean the next week! Again, it's done next day! Do not go here! I took my wedding dress here to be cleaned after my wedding. The dress barely needed any cleaning and it took over 2 months. Was not ready on the date I was told. When I picked it up it smelled terrible of smoked barbecue from the restaurant next door. Who wants their clothing smelling like food?? They did agree to reclean it but it was not ready again on the date it was supposed to be. I called and they agreed to deliver it on a certain date but that never happened. Nothing simple (pun intended) about pickup. Improper wearing of mask (like Chin Guard) if worn at all. Lots of confusion at pickup led me to believe I would never see my item again. Cashier started giving a speech- she literally would not shut up- in Spanish during which I heard her to say "Colores." Realizing she needed to know from me the color of my garment, despite my having a claim ticket, I tried at least twice to tell her its color but she would not stop talking to hear me out. We got into a bit of a shouting match until I could shout its color to her. Then, she asked me if the color I just told her was the color. Go figure. I wake up early everyday & so at 5:15am I decided to see if I could find an alterations place by me to see if I could get my dresses I need altered for a wedding & dinner party within in the next week. I wrote to Simply Dry-cleaning thinking they were located closer to my house & They responded back immediately at 5o'clock in the morning and couldn't have been more accommodating. They set up an appointment right away and then when I told them that I live in Boca they offered to drop my gowns off at my house so I don't have to make the trip twice. Not sure who I was conversing with so early in the morning but the persons name is Sam, who could not have been more accommodating. I may have found a new alterations and dry cleaning company to work with. The prompt service and the willingness to help with a prompt response speaks volumes.
