First like many couples married in the past year we had to plan it and/or reschedule it through a pandemic and everyone we spoke to over the phone at Park Ave were still so thoughtful and caring as the wedding and event based businesses were taking a hit. Ment alot to how cool and calm they were able to remain as me and my wife were freaking out. I now must mention Brian, who was our photographer the day of the wedding. Me and my brothers arrived to the venue for photos and he was straight to business because he knew timing was pressed and was dedicated to getting us as much photos as possible. In the suites he knew the layout of our venue so well and where to get the best shots. He had all my brothers laughing and smiling because of his great sense of humor. At the church he continued to make sure we took as many photos as we could and what ever photos us(bride and groom) wanted he was willing to take and would not move on till we got the ones we were looking for. Back at the venue when our families were all there he was great at making sure me and my wife got away for some private photos where once again he knew the venue and best places to go. His timing was great we finished posed photos with 15 minutes to spare before the cocktail hour started. We received a teaser gallery of photos about two weeks after the wedding, then our full album was ready about a month after our wedding. All the photos were downloadable right away so I could post to social media immediately which was a huge plus lol. We received the video about six weeks after the wedding and it was SO worth the wait. I am beyond happy with how it turned out, John captured all the good moments of the night. I was fortunate to find…read moreher online and when I contacted her, I knew she would do the best possible job of photographing a very important event I was in charge of - a multi-class high school reunion. For several months before the event, I bombarded Roe with many questions about what to expect. She kindly and professionally set my mind at ease right up until the days just before the actual event. On the night of the party, she was exactly on time - I'd finally get to meet that lovely lady in person. She knew exactly how to handle the large crowd and set about the task of covering the event with great knowledge and professionalism. Roe had all that and so much more! Mary took the time to connect weeks before the photoshoot and discuss the day's plan and how to prepare. She helped me pick out style options from my closet using FaceTime, and I think I brought my entire closet to her studio. Her makeup and hair stylists made me feel comfortable wearing makeup, which I usually don't do. Then, the fashion changes and photoshoot began. Mary was so welcoming and made the experience very comfortable. She gave me posing instructions that produced very flattering photos. My BFF and I had so much fun and felt truly beautiful! A few weeks later, we reviewed the photos and decided which ones to use in a portfolio. The final product is absolutely worth it, and I'm so glad I captured this time in my life. When picking…read morevendors, we knew that we wanted to have a videographer, but didn't really want to shell out too much money. Also, picking out videographers is stressful, more so than picking out the photographer, since watching clips takes time, and then there's the sound, the lighting, the number of cameramen to account for, the time you want it filmed, etc. That being said, I had emailed a whole bunch of videographers, and each one was more expensive than First Dance Cinema. The ones that were less expensive... well the quality definitely showed. So I was lucky that I was able to find Mike especially given that our wedding was only a month away at that point. Mike was very flexible in working with us in regards to the pricing, working within our budget. He was also flexible in allowing us to work at our slow pace (we were supposed to pick the songs before the wedding, but didn't end up doing so until like a month after). He also works extremely hard; he was there for over 12 hrs on our actual day! Though it was just Mike on the actual day, the videos turned out amazing, as if we had more than one camera man! I also liked that he was punctual, friendly, and just great to work with. An added bonus, for the raw footage, he will send them to you for free as long as you supply him with a flash drive! She called us with an attitude and would not let us use any money we put down for a newborn shoot or anything, when we didn't even ask for our $600 back. She just lost a lot of business because we were going to use her for newborn/family pictures and holiday pictures in the future but I would NOT recommend her at all after my recent experience. Her work was okay but this is not the type of person I would want to work with so I suggest you stay away.
